How can JP stop him when NDS is the one who meet DM & speak for himself?

If it's as per JP request, the lie shd have ended that night with NDS told DM that he has a girlfriend. Her ideal boyfriend image shd hv ended that night with no further complication & she would only cherish her penpal in her memories.

It's not JP's fault if NDS then got smitten & do the opposite, NDS want to have a chance with her so then he gave her his name card & gave her his "green light" by telling her that he has no girlfriend.

The ball of lies then become at NDS's hands because he chose his path himself.

Grandma never ask him to keep the lie, the lie that grandma ask him to keep is regarding her eyes, which NDS doesn't obey it anyway.

Yes HJP had his flaws too, just like everyone else's here in this drama including grandma.

From DM's side/ POV I find HJP fault is better because he doesn't use his lie for his own benefit, he doesn't pursue her romantically, he wrote those letters as per grandma's request to give her the comfort & confidence she needed during her difficult time & has no further/ otherintention.

But, yes from NDS side he clearly is at fault using other people's name.

To my knowledge, the sole reason HJP keeping the lie is to protect DM feelings, but since he became NDS brother out of sudden, I don't think he has the position to reveal the truths anymore as NDS just kick him out of the picture, now it's between Grandma or NDS, although I find it's better if all three can sit together to give DM a clearer picture when they reveal the truth.

If DM find the truth herself, it'll be more hurtful for her.

But DM doesn't even know that HJP is the person who wrote her those letters nor HJP claming it's his & HJP hasn't pursue DM romantically yet, if anything, he is even avoiding her instead, lol.
And using DS name is a disavantage for HJP. None of this will need to happen if he use his real name. DM won't even get to meet NDS.

My problem with his character the most is how despite his knowing that he is benefiting from someone else's background, he keep choosing to went pursuing her while still using that background. So yes, the lies better come out soon, if they want to built a believable relationship between NDS & SDM & make people root for them, it shd be based on truths & fair ground. Giving them all romance scenes while still keeping the lie in background is pointless & will do nothing to viewer's heart.

No there's not. It's the writer who choose to portray NDS character as a kind living buddha but write him do things the opposite, so you can blame it on the writer's inconsistencies writing instead of viewers.

HJP character was written more consistent thus people find him easier to relate & they can understand him better, but that doesn't equally mean they give him excuses, that's a total different thing.

I don't think so, because the lie itself is not the main problem here, but the reason behind the lie & how they use it for their own merits is the thing what matters and that's where people find NDS character hard to relate or hard to root for especially when they wrote him acted out of character from the supposed to be "the kind of living buddha" as per they said, he do questionable things I don't think "the kind of living buddha" will do.

I don't think people here gives him excuse though, but his background gives people more ground to understand him better. Just like in real life, kids who live as an orphan and grow without parents tends to be more independent and bitter as a person than kids who grow up with a full loving & complete parents, as simple as that.

Ikr, lol, it's ongoing drama, we're giving our opinions & feedbacks as it's ongoing idk why that's a problem. Especially when we give & describe our reasons to discuss & explain why some can't agree with the character's choice, their perspective and so on, so it's not baseless. Giving opinions are always okay as long people stay civil.

What baseless is if people can't accept other people's opinion, but instead of giving their own perspective with reason, they spread butthurt comments instead, which adds nothing to the discussion, forgetting the purpose of this comment section is not for blindedly praising the drama or characters only.

I myself liking the fact that the comment section is active, even better full with essays, with that, the wait for their next ep release is more bearable to me :)))

Yes I agree, getting back to NDS on the last ep as she figures her feelings is just as cliche as they can possibly get, lol. I hope DM know her feelings well & decide soon. Please no back and forth between them two & leave them hanging. This love triangle shd be ended soon so they can focus more on the plot, their start up as very well their journey. I want to see more sismance too between DM & In Jae.

Just want to correct something though, grandma is the one who ask HJP to find the real NDS & impersonate him, while HJP also can't expose himself as her penpal because DM's pride & hope is on the line after her bluffed since In Jae already know HJP identity.
He'd probably will reveal the truth if NDS doesn't came at the party & decided to prolong the lies (by giving her his number, and convinced HJP that the only problem would be only him not being a hot shot as per letters so they only need to work on that) after being smitten with DM that night, though.

Yup, I hope Dalmi will really find out the truth by next ep, true that she's not a baby anymore, she has mature & she deserve to choose her partner wisely.

I'll be very upset if the lie being out in the open as per preview suggested is just another fake out like someone here mention (it might be DS dream, or else) & DM just gloss HJP handwriting similiarity over like for another couple ep & the truth will only be revealed on the last few ep, arghh, that would be so nervewrecking to see.

It can be eitherway, DM find the truth herself & confronts NDS or the opposite. But what bothers me the most is the phrase NDS saying from the preview when she ask him why "I don't want to see you cry", it's a total BS answer & just a big fat excuse coming from him.

Tbh, I like NDS character at the start, nerdy character is my cup of tea tbh, but I like his character lesser & lesser esp when he's acting out of character with how determine he is to get DM for himself no matter how wrong his way is & keep touching her using someone else background to his advantage, with that he lost his integrity, and with how they make him a Yes mam person when he is with Dalmi, to me he just lost his charm as well as he lost his personality over Dalmi, that's why I can't see the chemistry between them either, unlike her with HJP, there's bantering and it make the scene more lively & show their sparks.

So I guess you still can't see my point then. NDS is already crossing his lines by taking advantage on Dal Mi feelings, HJP has not. The lie is not the main point here, but the intention, to manipulate her feelings is.

Sure, ofc DM is the one who shd decide whom she prefers. But the writer is the one who responsible to make her choice is believable or not for the viewers to root for, but so far, her writing on NDS character is unfavoring for him thus many people can't buy NDS-SDM pairing nor find their relationship will ever last.

Ikr, this exactly, it's not even about HJP ship anymore, even if HJP doesn't end up with Dal Mi I'd be okay as long HJP find happiness in the end. But no matter what it is, I still find it's bothersome to see if DM end up with NDS, a man who had manipulating her in someway, regardless it's probably hard to hear, but that's the fact. I find it's better for Dalmi to find a new, another partner who never take any advantage of her, than her with DS.

Also, if the writer intend to make NDS-DM as the end game, I wish she would just stop keep torturing HJP, if he doesn't stand a chance, it's better to make him focus on something else or find another partner in life.

Even with that, still Do San has lost the integrity I find any ML shd be having to be able for me to root for them.
If neither one of the ML is DM first love like you said, I still find HJP is the better option, because at least he doesn't use the lie for his own benefit.
Esp if NDS still keep making excuses to his lying (as suggested on the next ep preview, tho I hope it's misleading).

But yes, the lie shd be out in the open by now, it's already been dragged for too long. Dalmi has the right to know & not to be keep misleading & deceive like this.

No one ever said that HJP is not at fault, we acknowledge that all three are at fault. But there's a BIG difference between Hjp lie & NDS lie, NDS has the intention to lure Dal Mi into romance relationship & taking advantage to her feelings for the supposed to be person who wrote the letters, touching her face, hairs, etc. We all know that Dalmi wouldn't allow him already if she met NDS as pure strangers given how high her standard towards men is.

But in the case of HJP, he never tried to lure Dalmi into romance relationship using the letters. He wrote those letters to give Dalmi the confidence & support she needed but he never once tried to claim that the letters is his to Dalmi. He use false identity when writing those letters, but how do we know for sure that all the things written in the letters (continued more than 1 year) were all lies? He can also put his true feelings too, especially knowing that he has literally no one in this world to share his burden, he can also share his own feelings thru the letters especially when it was anonymous.
HJP remember DM's name, his penpal from 15 years ago, when i can't even remember my friends name from elementary school I think already gave a clearer picture.

If HJP then want to start a romance relationship with DM after DM knows that he wrote those letters , I want him to come clean at DM too, how it's all start with Grandma asking him to wrote the letters, then how much from the letters is him & how much is not.
Just like how I hope NDS did too before proceeding to pursue DM romantically knowing for sure that he is benefitting from the lie.
It'll only be fair for Dalmi like that.

And y'know, I hope his answer to Dalmi's question (as to why did he lie to her) on the preview for next ep is misleading, because if he did answer her that (that it's because he doesn't want to see her cry), that's a totally Bullshi* answer then.
We all know that his biggest reason to continue the lie is so he had his chance, a BIGGER chance to be with Dalmi, to steal her heart, it's not for Dalmi's sake anymore & I don't think it ever was, so if he said that, then he just make another lie, a big excuse with capital E.

If so, then idk what's the writer's reason anymore to keep forcing NDS-DM pairing when the whole situation, character's background, integrity doesn't support the viewers to root for NDS-DM as a couple.
