Yes, hearing what the PD said during their conference I think they were hinting us about that possible changing. It's higher chance for them to get a backlash if they didn't change that after all, so I do think the remake would be different than the original eventhough I'm still expecting them to make another daring plot twist to keep us surprised ;)

Should I watch the J version first...? Dilemmas.
I watched the J-ver only after I find the pilot ep of the remake was so damn intriguing & I can't hold back my curiousity.
Binge watched their 11 ep in a day & had no regret.
I think now I can enjoy watching the remake even more because I can compare & notice what's different between them two.
So far, from the first two ep, I love the korean remake more because KMY's character was made more shady/dangerously attractive than Ryo's (the J-ver) & they had a better production quality. The actors, Takuya Kimura & Seo In Guk both nailing their dark character very well though, they're irresistably charming & acting so on point.

However, please keep in mind that there's this major plot twist that ppl hated in the original (which we don't know whether the remake will follow), so I don't think it's a good idea to watch the J-ver if you haven't spoiled yourself/prepare your heart with that.

About that twist I think it'll be hard for them to change it in the remake as it was essential to the plot. But…
Interesting, it's a great idea to make them related but not by blood, foster siblings, sibling through married, etc. That way they can keep their major plot twist but making it less disturbing.

KMY can be the son from his father & YJK can be the daughter from her mother and they're related because their parents married to each other.
That'd be so much better than real siblings, anything but that actually, lmao

And yeah, seein' the pilot ep of the remake, I feel something different, like KMY has known something from the very beginning, I wonder if it's true

Idk how much do you want us to spoil the J-ver because there's this major spoiler, so I think I'll write them…
MAJOR SPOILER
#5. That murderer turnsout was KMY's AND YJK's father.
So both KMY & YJK are real siblings related by blood.

#6. That burn scar they had, was a burn scar caused by the same accident, from the collapse boiling water when their father was shot to death.
Little KMY was protecting his little sister, YJK, so he had a bigger scar than hers.

#7. YJG has made them an orphan since he killed their only family, so he took the responsibility & want to adopt them both, but little KMY who was traumatized (from witnessing his father's death), runaway from the hospital he was taken care of (for his burn scar) & ended up in an orphan. And YJG ended up as YJK's brother.

#8. YJK at the end shot KMY & herself, ending their life.

#4 YJG had a secret past, backthen when he was a young cop, there's this case about a murderer he need to catch, but at the end he shot him & caused him to death.

Idk how much do you want us to spoil the J-ver because there's this major spoiler, so I think I'll write them…
Original J-ver spoiler:
#1 KMY grown up in an orphan after he lost his fam at the age of 5, he had no memories of his past/why he was in an orphan, where is his family etc.

#2 He felt that there's no God in his life as he felt that nobody would care for him if he didn't make any sort of act, thus he became the God himself in his life.

#3 Due to his broken past, he closed his heart & plays with other ppl's heart, manipulating & moving them just like what he wanted them to be, like playing a chess. He didn't understand what love is, until YJK came into his life.

I can't be the only one thinking the showmakers are keeping the original twist, can I? one thing you need to know…
About that twist I think it'll be hard for them to change it in the remake as it was essential to the plot. But I do notice some of the tweaks they've made from the original in this pilot ep remake. In the original, both leads didn't know they're connected whatsoever until their last ep. But here, KMY keeps telling YJK that they've met before their first meeting. I wonder if KMY already knows her from the start?
On The Smile Has Left Your Eyes Oct 6, 2018
This one has become my absolute fav among all the airing drama I watched right now, they're the best airing one in terms of quality, plot & acting wise imo. Gosh how I wish I can binge watch all of their 16 ep right now.
On The Smile Has Left Your Eyes Oct 4, 2018
Well done, it's a great pilot ep!
SIG fits his dark, intriguing character really well.
He gave me chills & eventhough I know he might be dangerous I still fell for him nonetheless, talk about great acting here.
Love Park Sung Woong's character in here too, it reminds me of Detective Kang from Life on Mars, I miss him! xD.
Can't wait to watch their next ep!!

Title The Guest
This drama is tagged in Gore category and I'm not really into horror. However, I do like the concept and really…
There's nothing mild in this drama, esp their first ep. They censored some of those disturbing part but the essence is still there. In terms of gory/scary scenes I think they're pretty bold for a korean drama.
If you happened to hv watched 'Voice' then I think you'll get an idea for how gory it might hv as they had the same director, although as far as I remember this one is probably less gory than Voice but scarier.
But they're great & seriously worth it. Also, the gory/scary scenes are much toned down later so if you managed to survive their first & second ep then you'll survive till the end.

Title Encounter
It's just a fanmade edit, no relation to the drama aka not official.
There's no official poster for this drama yet therefore I took some random fanmade pic available on the website to fill it, sorry for the confusion xD

Hi! I know you posted about it on the feeds, but I forgot to ask you then.Does this have a happy ending?
Hi AnanyaS, actually it's kinda complicated for me to tell without me giving too much detail to you, I think the best answer I could give without being too spoilery is :

They ended it well/happy & am quite satisfied w/ it given their current circumstances at that time, however
It's also really heartbreaking at somepoint so I think you'll need your heart prepared too even if they ended up happy/ended it well.

In short, they have a happy ending at the very end (that's the most important thing)
but at certain point I think it's a sad ending too.
All I can say is that it's not an ultimate happy ending for some.

Lol, did I make you even more confused? idk how to explain it, sorry X'D
Don't worry about the ending though, imo it's all worth it <3
On Touch Your Heart Sep 19, 2018
What a bummer JKH turn down the offer, he deserves more recognition & at first I thought this will be his very first 'big hit' in a romcom drama.
**sadly that's not the case so I had to remove this from my ptw list then :""(
On Nine: Nine Times Time Travel Sep 18, 2018
I'm late to the party but it's quickly become my all time fav! it's romantic, it's heartbreaking, it's amazing, it's mind blowing & Lee Jin Wook as Park Sun Woo is so hot damn sexy, gosh! his gaze, his voice, his look, everything he does, everything ❤!
I fell for him completely, I think I'm doomed X')

**fyi, this drama had some really great kisses too if not best :"D
Replying to Dreamy Sep 18, 2018
Neither am I until I watched Nine nine times time travel this week (finished them in two days only) & omg I fell…
The ending had many mix reviews because it can be confusing for some since time travel was their main plot.
But all I can say is this, it's clearly a happy ending but at the same time not? it's really heartbreaking at some point but it ended well/ happy. Did I make you confuse? Idk how to explain it X'D
So I think you'll need your heart prepare too although I think they ended it well & make us feel content.

Yes, pls let me know what do you think when you're done :D

As for his drama, my first was 3 musketeer but I ended up putting it on hold only after 1 ep in as I'm not in the right mood at that time,
the 2nd one was voice2, his performance drew me in so I tried Nine then I fell for him completely & stuck with him until now.

I can't get enough of him too so I really want to watch his other drama. I've downloaded several ep of INR2 but his character there was too different & since I can't let go of his character on nine yet so I don't think I'll watch it in the near time, ㅋㅋㅋ I think I'm ruined
