Goo Chan Sung's poems for Jang Man Weol, written & made by Yeo Jin goo himself:

"I will plant a tree"
I will plant a tree that will live longer than me
So that you can meet this tree in the next life
I will water it in your memory everyday
I will stay beside it while it tinted the moonlight every night
So do not be afraid when you leave me behind..

==============================

"Moon"
In a narrow alley strewn with white magnolia,
I remember the day I met you

As the white magnolia dissapeared before me,
Will my memories of you also dissapear someday?

It's not like walking around in a short piece of time,
The word "YOU" is engraved deep in my heart.

If I keep this heart and look at the moon,
May I think I'm with you?

Waiting for this week finale is a plain torture! And where is that damn ep 15 preview when I need it the most? Will they even release it?
The wait is killing me~
but I'm not ready to part with them either ;__;

Goo Chan Sung is the BEST. No one can convince me otherwise
He is the best indeed, a gem who just set the bar so high for future ML had to compete.

Title Hotel del Luna Spoiler
No matter how much I love this drama, by ep 15 I wish they could stop tormenting Chan Sung by making him always be that one person who endures everything & be a sacrificial goat for every & each people around him like the one that they did on ep 14, esp when the person who sacrified him doesn't even seem to be felt sorry. He almost lost his life over nothing, just by some mere misunderstanding & God's play.

Boy, how much a person can actually take before having a mental breakdown?
The ending of ep 14 just show it all (amazing act by Jin goo!) as well as the reason why I can't stop my tears from dropping even when the show has ended its airing time like ages ago.
I can imagine how much pain he has suffered & how he really tried his best to endure everything & always put the one that he loves as his first priority while put himself aside for a countless time.

MW try to kill him, he endures it & just take it all without blaming/questioning her love.
MW want to make herself vanish, he tried his might to save her even if it will cost him his life.
MW need a shoulder to rest, he gave her one & held her hand rightaway without even think how much he might hv been hurting too inside.
He want to hold MW but MW need to accompany CM to the after life, he endures it & wait for her.
He always give her the time & space she needed, emotional support from all of her suffering & 100% trust.
If that's not true love, idk what that is anymore.

The show may not be focusing on his sacrificial & imo they tried to romanticizing the captain's betrayal & tried to redeem him too much so people give CM more sympathy.
But to me, no matter how much they tried to make CM reason looks romantic & reasonable, I don't buy his love for MW, he just came as a coward to me, only do something that people told him to do but didn't have the balls to take the consequences & no effort to do the otherwise either. No wonder YW felt disgusted for what he did & MW left being all broken. Like seriously CM, if you want to save MW by making yourself a betrayer, live with it! Live with the consequences that came from your own decisions. Why would you even stab yourself with MW's sword? Yes it'd make your pain becoming less painful but how about MW??
That's why I never believe his love and he just came as delusional & selfish to me, he never apologized to her, instead, he always be that one hopelessly romantic being all the time even after what he did to her.

As for CS, his story may had to stay as background so MW & CM can have the time for their own closure (because let's be honest here, this show's focus was always about MW & her past/grudge) but that doesn't make CS pain becoming any less painful or his sacrificial becoming less worthy.

So I want to give him credit when the credit is due & I really want to see MW give more effort for their love / CS as well now that her emotional baggage has been lifted up, because relationship works both way & I wish to see that in the upcoming ep 15/16, for them to make a healthy based relationship, for their future too (if any).

I don't mind with any ending, just hoping it'd be a good ending that make sense & consistent with the writing of the characters/ plot.

Yeo Jin Goo is good enough
It's Lee Tae Sun who played Yeon Woo though =p
(And he's doing great, glad that CTJ passed that role, I can't picture Yeon Woo played by no other than LTS :))

A question to everyone who's watching. Is Yeo Jin Goo's character an important character in this drama? From what…
Definitely! His character here is hands down one of my fav ML character ever & the best of YJG role as an adult to me, except well maybe the opposite character of this one as one lunatic king on TCC (he's smokin' there).
His character here is the most mature, sincere & supportive ML with a spine of steel I've ever seen to date, who may teach us what true love is capable of & maybe learn one from his.
A really refreshing one & truly one of a kind that we rarely seen in kdramaland

Chan sung was adorable in his tiger suit. It was really thoughful of him to wear it to make seo hee laugh by making…
Exactly my thoughts, thank you for pointing that out.

To me CM felt more like a first crush thing that we may experience when we're young, it maybe felt overwhelming so we're blinded by it but they're also reckless & self absorb.

While CS to me here was the meaning of true love that we may experince when we're more mature, the one that is closer to reality, an actual love, a real love.
The kind of love which's grow deeper as you know the person more, the kind of love which's more understanding & selfless, that's why I find him precious & refreshing to see here on a kdrama.

Agree, I think it's the only major weak point. I don't dislike his character or anything, but it's just so incredibly…
I'm seriously flabbergasted to see you reply on me like this, for a matter that has ended well.

Where on earth did I ever forced my opinion over other people? Where on earth did I ever get too worked up defending CS when he's just a drama character to me?

I'm just trying to share my pov here & thought this is a place where people can always share their pov & discuss it even with ppl whom had a different pov with cool headed. To me it's always a nice thing to share & talk/try to understand eachother pov, but I guess my intention just kept being misunderstood.

If you think I'm too much, then guess it's better I'm out, bye!

I also checked that blog now from time to time. Haha! That's another charm of HDL. It's mind stimulating. It drives…
Yes, I can see myself rewatching them back from their first ep just incase if I missed any clue, reference or hidden meaning lays underneath what they've shown on the surface, anything that could've added value by rewatching it, maybe later once they completed? lol.
I think I'm going obsessed, I love how this drama keeps my mind busy with theories xP

Np, I'm not wording it well either, jerk isn't something that I shd hv brought up too, it came out too strong when my point was the usual push & pull tsundere ML kdrama has. I just can't find the correct words.
We'll end this here clean & clear then, hope we can pass eachother w/ no hard feelings.

Like I said earlier, I'm just trying to convey my POV, never did I ever want to accuse you for anything, I'm just making a comparison because your pov was unclear to me that's why I said "if" which to me means may or may not meet a certain condition that follows. English isn't my first language so I apologize too if it sounded like I'm implying you to be.
You can simply correct me & no high tension is needed.

Debating was never my intention to begin with, why would I when all I want is just to talk?
It would lead nowhere so I'll just end it here.

Sigh, and you're making an assumption too when my point was to describe my POV why CS isn't bland & passionless like the one you're implying.

My point was he might be different than the regular passive aggresive ML we often encounter in kdramaland thus why he may came as bland. For an easy example, to me CM was the kind of type (that push & pull tsundere type) & many ppl seem to love him too, thus what I say. I never pointing at you, I said "people may".
Means general, means people may not too either. what do you expect me to say?

And why would we even argue like this? I never accussed you for anything & you can simply just say your pov, no need the high tension & all that capital letter.

Yes, that's why I say "If".
Because you never described the comparison, only stated CS as bland compare to?? Thus my pov.
I never say anything that confirms you mean the passive aggresive type too though, am just saying if we're talking majority ML in kdrama, then those kind of type are the usual ones, not the type like CS character.

In regards to CS, I had to disagree. CS is anything but bland & he's def not the kind regular ML we often see in kdramaland too.

In fact, I feel the opposite, to me he is one of a kind ML whom we rarely find as he's the real meaning of a true gentlemen.
He know what he wants and how to stick with his own rule, he doesn't give a damn to people who telling him otherwise, but he had so much compassion & respect to other people around him, he had a soft & caring heart.

If having passion means they have to be those regular passive aggresive ML who often be a jerk in their first encounter, those tsundere type, then am sorry, I'd choose Chan Sung over tons of them anyday.

CS imo is one kind of a man, a perfect husband material who respect his woman & give them space when she needs to, but wouldn't backdown if he sees her goes to the wrong path. He also know how to fight for his love/woman/things he value, even if that means he had to lower his pride for it. In short, a strong pillar where you can always depends & even guided you.

I think people were just used to those passive agressive ML they often seen in kdramaland, so they can't get used to/can't appreciate whenever a ML like CS appear.

CS to me is one of the best ML character I've ever seen & quickly become one of my all time fav ML.
I know ppl might have different preferences though.
CS is just totally my type & imo the one that fits MW best <3

Also, I can't even appreciate enough the way their romance (whatever emotional bonding CS & MW had inside) were developed, it grows beautifully & keeps getting stronger day by day, a slow burning ones which unlikely we seen in kdramaland where they often felt rushed & out of nowhere, just random skinship for the sake of romance.
Here, time is needed because MW carries such a heavy bagage, where anyone would suffer from trust issues if they're on MW shoes.

And those are the few reasons why I adore this drama.
