I'm trying to hang in there based on these comments, but so far so stupid.
Oh my, sameeeee..!!! I've stopped watching on their first half of ep because of how stupid it was, the comments really tempting me to continue but please tell me that it gets better or at least bareable & less cringier??? TT
This show is like a mix combination of Just between lovers & Laughter in Waikiki, a mix of a totally different genre who goes opposite way but strangely somehow in this drama it works!!! I love this show & can't wait to watch their next ep ❤️ I also discover NJH & HJM great acting in here, the best one from them so far.
I need Romance !! Ji Hoon is such a hottie!! I'm dropping another Korean Drama dang it . What is happening in…
I second the light in your eyes, the most interesting one from the currently released batch for me. Sky Castle too, awesome eventhough it's without romance
Sounds like Marry him if you dare....not sure it's a good thing...
To me it's nothing like that at all, if anything I think they're probably a light & fantasy ver of JBL (similiar broken ML). The FL here is able to turn back time in her own will while the FL on MHIYD wasn't able to (way more passive) & there's nothing like an alternate world was created in here I think (so far). They're unique/ different in their own way.
Is this sad? I got this vibe from the poster and trailers.
The pilot was more lighthearted & a lot funnier than I thought it would be but there are some sad/heartwrenching/heartfelt relatable moments too, so they had a great balance so far. Next ep seems to be sadder (just from looking at the preview, they can be misleading, though)
So Son Hu Jun is her brother, not a romantic second male lead?? Is there any love triangle? I'm hesitated to…
Yes they're in a "cat & dog" terms like siblings & their bickering was the best, lol xD And no love triangle thing so far, the only closest term would be some sort of first crush but that ship already sank to the bottom of the ocean, so no serious contender/second lead at all :D
What a great pilot! It took them half an ep only to get me hooked, I laugh & cry with them. The characters seems already fleshed out since their very first ep. So much feels ❤️
A very promising start so far & what surprised me the most was how good Han Ji Min & Nam Joo Hyuk's acting in this drama & their characters are written. Especially given how horrible his performance was on Habaek (BOTWG) & I never really getting warmed up to any of HJM's character from her past work before. Love how subtle & expressive his eyes in this drama & hers too + HJM-NJH had a great chemistry. Their characters really suits them well here.
So if anyone feel hesitate to watch this, don't be! They had the right balance of comedy & heartwrenching moment so 1hr fly by as if it's nothing, at least that's what I feel from their first ep <3
Cant make up my mind about this.-Black as a character was amazing.-HaRam started as a good character, but by the…
Actually all of your question had been answered if you watched the drama closely, however I understand that some may not quite catch that as there's a lot of mysterious things going on & they required our full attention to catch/ understand it.
So answering your question: 1. Ha Ram couldn't see Gil Dong insides Leo's body because Gil Dong (just like Black) was her appointed grim reaper to collect her soul. Ha Ram said that back then when she was a little kid & supposed to die, she can't she her own shadow 2. 444 ID was never meant as a date but was given to the top grim reaper who collect soul the most (I think they mentioned it on ep 1), in chinese #4 itself means death. 3. Not everyone who dies become a grim reaper but only those whose body went missing, so I think it isn't as much grim reaper having the same name (by his time of death).
I think there's a very minimal plot hole instead of a lot, it's just not every ppl catch their answer & stated them as plot holes. They often give an underlying answer rather than give a direct narrative answer, for viewers to catch the answer on their own (I prefer this way), maybe that's why.
I personally rated this drama as 10 because of how well done & thoughtful the plot was made, it's def not easy to make as everything was related & interconnected & it's rare to find another drama like this
As much as I wanted to see the character's growth of the real king, I can see that he is no longer in the path where he still able to go back & redeem himself.
The real king is already too delusional & lunatic hence I can see that Secretary Lee had no other way than to choose the hardest choice of his life. I can't imagine how hard & tormenting it has been for him to have chosen that way. To the King whom he had cherished for a long time.. For a better nation & to save lifes of the good people, he had to *sobs
The real king had a really sad life though, indeed, RIP Yi heon.
Does Yoo Baek and Mysterious man in the hill have a connection, is he his father??
No, I think he is the one who earlier gave YB his magic hourglass, the same man who took YB on the boat to Yoojik island, I think he is a sort of guardian/deity of the island who has powers/magic since he can change his outer appearance for other ppl might seen. YB's hourglass dissapears once it fulfills its duty & now he give another magic hourglass to Madol.
Heol, 19th ep, 1 more to the finale & the writer still make us confused, she's doing a really good job, isn't she? X'D And you know a drama is good if they can make you pity or even cry for the villains (which they just did to me) because it shows how complex the character is written. I can't believe I cry hardest for the villain! Even the one that I used to cursed, lol. They got 23% ratings & still getting stronger, daebak!
Gosh, I'm blown away, how can a drama be this beautiful yet so funny, captivating, meaningful, heartwarming & had the most adorable couple everrr, wahhh KJS & JSM had the best chemistry I've ever seen in kdramaland.
As for their ending, I don't even need to watch this last ep with sub to know that they're gold, I'll rewatch it for a countless time like each & every other ep of theirs. This is the best drama from 2018/2019 & an all time fav for me.
Hwahh gonna miss them so much, how can I find another drama that able to top this one for me??? They're so perfect!! Thank you TVN for giving us such a beautiful drama like this, a healing drama indeed (TT) am granting you a 10 out of 10, chopsu!!!
Not yet ended, but there's this leaked photos of the final ep shooting I've seen (below link) that hinting for a very happy ending one, but to be know for sure I will let you know once their final ep finished its airing tomorrow :p
