I think they did rushed the scene a lil' bit, maybe that's why we don't feel it that much, they need a better flow. Agree, they make a cute couple, a cheeky princess & a jelly grumpy scholar, haha
Woah, I love how intense this drama is, the tension is real. The moment when the king enters the queen dowager's palace at ep 9 I literally holds my breath.
Not really a fan of the prince character, the way he use chae kyung as his tool to overtake the throne, that way he put chae kyung & her family in danger/ in a very tough position.
He is also too weak as a person who will become the king, but I get that they follow the history well (he's a weak one at least for some period of time, because he can't overcome the power of those ppl around him who help him to get the throne)
Idk though if it's because I used to see the story from Yeonsangun pov since from the very beginning so I see it like that. However, I love the flow & how the story being told, it's interesting & heartwrenching, it's an illfate for both brothers & chae kyung unfortunately, just like the prophecy.

It's more like a peck than a kiss, just touchin' lips XD. That scene I believe wasn't meant to be sizzling, it's a sageuk afterall, I don't expect much from a kiss scene in sageuk, haha, although some of them are an exception (ie. Jang Ok Jung). Yes, I find this one is the most entertaining one among all currently airing drama I watched, the plot is also unpredictable and keep you on toes, makes you wondering what's more to come, so addictive.
Well, yeah sometimes ratings/advertising are misleading, so I tends to look from the plot/writer's past work & hear what's ppl thought rather than the rating itself/the most hyped one. Still, it's unavoidable that some really good dramas were buried under the others who's getting more advertising/hype, just too unfortunate.
The plot is nothing new, but I enjoy watching it. The princess is so lucky to have those men around her when they're all hot af.

And yes if ppl only allow to post positive comment, just went to a fansite & not a public forum like this. One of the reason why I love MDL is because we can discuss & see other ppl point of view, no need to consider that as an attack. I may said NJH's act still looks childish to me, the way she talks, the way she cries, that's from my pov & am not forcing anybody to agree w/ me, I also pointed out that I get that she is still very young, so I understand maybe that's why.
