Well, I don't even know SYA before I watched K2, so if it's called bias then it's only from seeing 6 ep of K2. To my knowledge, there's no way on earth a person would react over a ramen like that unless they're a kid, that's why I said they're exaggerating it & Anna felt like a kid. And am just hoping they would develop a better romance, it's not like you put 2 people on a screen, let them kiss & then it's called romance.
I feel Anna is like a kid who were trapped in a woman's body, her mental is not grown yet, she is still a lost kid like she used to be. I don't see any difference when I see Yoona as Anna & that little kid as little Anna. Thus, I don't feel she is compatible with Je Ha, their mental state is not the same/they just don't match, it's like seeing a man with his kid. While with Yoo Jin I see her as an equal person next to Je Ha, they're both mature person with dark past & their chemistry is electrifying, I can see how well they could heal eachother's wound & completing eachother's flaw. I don't know what direction is this drama heading to, but seeing the past 6 ep I can see they're lacking on the development of the romance department, first with Ranaia (came out of nowhere) & then with Anna (ramen & CPR kiss), seriously both Je ha & Anna are too overreacting over a ramen, & why romantizing over a CPR, do they think once they kissed the romance will be settle? LOL. I hope they'll seriously work on this asap otherwise I can see this drama will go downfall. I hope they won't go down that route though #fingerscrossed
Best scene: Umbrella scene, Jeha-Yoojin's heart to heart conversation on ep 6, Jeha saves Yoojin from the burning car, Anna's & Yoojin's tears while Anna is singing amazing grace & the singing itself.
Worst scene: Jeha-Anna's ramen CF & their overreacting, romanticized CPR kiss, Anna's crying on the roof acting (feel fake to me.)
OMG, EPISODE 15 IS EPIC, THE MOST HEARTBREAKING SCENE EVER & FULL OF INTENSE SCENE, I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING, DAEBAKKK!! #CAPSLOCKDEAD, LOL
& BOGUM'S OST IS TRULY REFLECTING HIS FEELING, SO BEAUTIFUL YET SO HEARTWRENCHING (இ﹏இ`。)
Big dilemma here. Should I drop this show or put it in a hold? Watched 6 episodes and the only thing I like is…
Yeah, I feel you, am also keeping my eyes on it, if they're gonna forcing the romance with Anna without giving more depth to the relationship nor working on their chemistry first & make that romance as their main focus/story, I might dropping it as well, but for now, am still on board, let's see how it goes :)
I love how mature Jeha with Yoo Jin & how mature their conversation, they're compatible for eachother…
Well said, couldn't agree more. I really hope they won't go downgraded by focusing on Je Ha-Anna relationship though, looking at the past 6 episodes makes me think it'll be their downfall if they're doing that. I'd rather have a suspense/action/crime/politics kdrama without romance rather than having a fluffy force romance. Well, I guess only time will tell #fingerscrossed
lol I don't understand why they try to turn CPR into a romantic scene I mean someone is dying over there…
Yeah, they're shot multiple times, repeated from all different angles with melody like they're giving us some kiss scenes, kkk. I was like "show, is this what you called "romance"? Do you expect my heart gonna go flutters by that?" #rollsmyeyes, lol
I love how mature Jeha with Yoo Jin & how mature their conversation, they're compatible for eachother…
@Tani , idk I've only seen several instagram post & JCW-ImYoonAh photoshoot portraying them together, but if I haven't seen any of it I'll be thinking like you did, that Yoo Jin is the lead like the poster & summary on MDL was hinting. However, agree on your thought & also @cvparadise , I'd prefer they exploring more on Yoo Jin's background & Yoo Jin-Je Ha relationship rather than Anna's, since I feel aside of Je Ha, her character is the strongest one & steal the show. That ramen scene, strawberry ice cream & CPR scene was felt kinda meh to me, like a lame excuse to kiss & imo, they need to work on their chemistry first before that kind of scene, I don't get the point nor get any fluttering heart at all from that scene, idk maybe because it felt too cliche & am kinda tired of it.
Am curious though, where is this drama heading to, will it turn into just another kdrama cliche or will it turn into an epic unpredictable kdrama with a plot twist.
I think either Yoona/Anna both were being overshadowed by Yoon Ah/Yoo Jin's acting talent/character, I swear…
"If that plot twist were to happen this Kdrama would become my favorite Kdrama of all time"
I second that @dejawufan kkkkk
Exactly, Je Ha is not being himself when he is around Anna & though it's nice to see the sweetest of him, agree with you that it doesn't feels right, it's like seeing a man purposely lowering himself in order to be able to interact with his kid, their mental state is not compatible. While from my point of view, Jeha & Yoo Jin compliment eachother perfectly, they can heal eachother scars & I love how mature they are, especially when they were together.
I may sound defensive but I just want to shine light on a different perspective. To those who would think Anna's…
I understand her background led her to be bland, but that doesn't change the fact that she is bland. My problem with Anna is, I can't get her feelings/ can not put myself into her shoes, idk if the problem is her script or the acting itself. Neither Yoona as Anna nor that little kid as lil' Anna can convince me what they're going through, thus, I can't root for her. It doesn't help either when there's another strong character like Yoo Jin who also broken inside & her character feels fresh unlike other kdrama heroine cliche. I understand your point though, I just want to clarify that it's not like that I don't understand her reason for being bland.
I think either Yoona/Anna both were being overshadowed by Yoon Ah/Yoo Jin's acting talent/character, I swear it felt like the PD love Yoo Jin more than Anna since Yoo Jin's scene with Je Ha is more epic than him with Anna & her character also felt alot more interesting while Anna's felt rather bland. Can we have a plot twist that Je Ha ended up with Yoo Jin? If that happens, it will be the greatest plot twist ever in kdramaland, kkkk, Yoo Jin will be your unordinary kdrama heroine.
Am not buying Anna- Je Ha relationship yet & also can't get into her feelings, her crying scene felt kinda forceful, & when she felt suffocate, I don't believe her... When she is the leading lady, @¥%%&&#
OMG, why did Yoo Jin has to be the 2nd lead? Why can't she be the first? I ship her with Je Ha so bad, I…
@helkwo@dejawufan It's my first time seeing Song Yoon Ah's acting too & surprised by how great her acting is, Je Ha&Yoo Jin moment together is just so swoon/ship worthy, that burning car & umbrella moment is ♡, if tvN make a crazy plot twist by turning Yoo Jin as the first lead it would be hella interesting/outstanding, kkk. I know it won't be happened though, at this state I will be happy if they make Yoo Jin as a strong contender to Je Ha-Anna relationship, or at least have some special place at Je Ha's heart :') . Imo, it will be much more interesting to see rather than his random first love died out of nowhere scene to be his motif.
OMG, why did Yoo Jin has to be the 2nd lead? Why can't she be the first? I ship her with Je Ha so bad, I…
@MysticLullaby yes they've met first but I don't feel their bonding just yet, Idk maybe because at that time Anna wasn't in her right state of mind (tired from running, yelling, spacing out, etc) but I don't feel their chemistry, & for me I found it's unnatural if Je Ha falls for her instantly only from their moment together up to ep 5, they need more bonding moment together for me to buy their relationship & please no more ramen PPL please, although I found it endearing & sweet & love Je Ha's reaction at that time, I feel it takes too much screen time for 2 ep in a row, it's like seeing a ramen CF. Feel free to disagree though :)
Heard it somewhere that they're just finished the filming of ep 15 by today at dawn, that's why they can't release the preview by friday, maybe today. Their live filming schedule is surely crazy exhausting, Bogum recently was also need to inject with the IV to help him rehydrated, hope the cast & crew doing well & mantain their health, sending them some love ♡♡♡

@MysticLullaby Yes I know it before but I just can't help it, since they built Je Ha-Yoo Jin relationship earlier before & emotionally more rather than Je-Ha with Anna, Anna-Je Ha only had that ramen moment which to my knowledge not strong enough to build any relationship, while Je Ha helps Yoo Jin on her fragile moment :') @palak yes! That lingering eyes, gaze, whatever it called, screams so much chemistry ♡
