This drama is an example for a perfection of drama casts, acting, chemistry, scenery, directing, editing, lighting,…
Yes, me too ^^… tbh at first I was skeptical about it, since on my first thought they seems to had the "not so new plot" & worried if it would be too sweet for my taste despite loving PBG as an adorable person. BUT, wow how I was so wrong, the way they delivered this drama was truly captivating & engaging + having heard the web novel storyline I think it's much much more interesting & promising than I thought before.
I've learned my lesson, not to judge a drama only based on my first impression X')
now moonlight has become my #1 current kdrama addiction, hhh
This drama is an example for a perfection of drama casts, acting, chemistry, scenery, directing, editing, lighting, background music & osts. Everything about this drama is so on point & put attention to detail, so they right got you in the feels & emotion. The way the camera panned out, zoom in, slow motion, dreamy sequences scene.. , the way they stare at each other..is just freakin' amazing ♡ .The story maybe is simple but so engaging with depths, emotion & portraying layered characters without trying to overdone it, it is simply beautiful & will knocks you out effortlessly XD
Damn, just don't review a drama when you've only seen 3 episodes... How hard is it to wait?? -.-
I think there's a place for that which is episode review, but to give drama a review even before the story has ended is rather inappropriate & against the rule on MDL, a rating would be enough to justify whether people think it's good or not imo. I've even seen ppl gives drama a review from only seeing the trailer --"
The writer is really brilliant and think out of the box/ always think one step (or few steps?) ahead of us. I understand that it's sometimes hard to catch up for some of us (including me, it did gives me a headache, lol) so maybe some of us said it's too crazy or said it doesn't make any senses, but if you want to take a look at it again, every twist & turn had its connection, maybe it's just us who missed that link. So incase something like that happened, I used db recaps to help me on that, just a suggestion to those who confused :) http://www.dramabeans.com/2016/09/w-two-worlds-episode-13/
So did they explain why the KC shooting OYJ's dad scene from ep 5 didnt make it into webtoon?
If you're referring to the scene where KC shot OSM (OYJ's dad), it did shown on the webtoon along with KC suicide attempt, I remember seeing that scene shown on the manhwa (forgot which ep though), but there's one scene on ep11, which KC read the manhwa book #34 had that scene
I think I will definitely not have second lead syndrome here either.... it's just that I find it so hard to root…
Agree with you, @Camellia that way she is like being a hypocrite --".
@Bongsookie can't agree more, I feel like they're having a crappy directing & editing which turn off the mood, the main female lacks depth on her character & the whole directing/editing is not helping at all, don't know how to explain it but I feel like seeing a stage play on some scenes (like they're waiting for their lines) & unnatural scenes (like when the 4th prince pulls Hae Soo from his horse but she got higher than the prince himself, I was like WTF o.0, is she flying?, lol). This show has its potential but imo the production team was a dissapointing one .
that moment when you are so confident unraveling the spoiler tag cause you've seen the latest episode but you…
@kestrel & @Kudo_Lelouch my pleasure :), ikr, it's so heartbreaking to hear the tragic ending of the original CP, especially on how he dies, when I first hear it I was like NuooOoo... These ending couldn't be happened to PBG, he's too adorable to be killed, I think my heart can't take it, lol XD, am so relieved to hear the webnovel had a happy ending, so I just want to share it with you guys, hope they'll stick to the webnovel ending concept :) #fingerscrossed
that moment when you are so confident unraveling the spoiler tag cause you've seen the latest episode but you…
Hhh, I thought so, I was also worried before hearing his tragic ending until later hearing from someone who has read the web novel said that on the web novel they had their happy ending and the web novel didn't follow his tragic ending, I was so relieved as I've seen one note in the first ep of moonlight that this drama was made as fiction, & knowing this drama was an adaption of the web novel so am hold on to that XD @biniBningPunkista@Kudo_Lelouch
“We’ll unfold why all this time she lives as a man and the love triangle with Yeong and the crown princess who will appear start from episode 5 (September 5th), the appearance of Chae Soo Bin will form the new love triangle with Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung. It will be different with the love triangle between Park Bo Gum, Kim Yoo Jung, and Jinyoung." as said by Kang CP-nim. Wow so the love triangle or rectangle will happened early? ackk can't wait for the new episodes, where's my preview?? 〒▽〒
If you're looking for a heart warming drama with a beautiful dream sequences scene, main lead who gets through to your heart and makes you fall for him everytime and swooning like you're a teenager again, heart touching moments that makes you all teared up, this is "it". I'm officially hooked. Moonlight had a perfect cast, directing, editing & bgm team, am so thankful they're giving us such a beautiful & heart warming drama like this. Am amazed with how well Bo gum & Yo jung can act, both are a very talented actors in such a young age, those kind of actors whose eyes tells you story.
i dont want to sound like a rude shampoo but i feel like its a copy/paste of SKKS the characters i mean..... or…
Agree that moonlight is much much better than SKKS, my heart is fluttering so much watching this drama, so heartwarming & also hilarious, a truly romcom ♡
Lol, agree on that one, it was indeed an overdone melo. I really think the reason why they were so miserable right now was because their own doing by keep making stupid decisions, --"
Just watching the first two episodes with subs, hmm.. not feeling them yet, maybe because there's so many characters so there's not much dialogue for each of characters? ^^" an introduction episodes with a beautiful scenery though *__*
Personally I don't really like IU but I'll watch this for the story & the rest of the casts, especially Kang ha neul, though am hoping for not having any SLS again, but with that plenty male cast they had I think the probability most likely will be very high to have a 2nd lead/ 3rd lead/ 4th lead syndrome & so on... XD
