Which ep are you at coz what I think from the recent ones is actually the opposite (her to finally end up with…
Oh I haven't watched the other drama but yeah Bao Meng & Mu Ran has no spark/ not enough spark to make me actually believe they hv a thing for eachother π
Which ep are you at coz what I think from the recent ones is actually the opposite (her to finally end up with…
Ah yes I just got back from watching ep 18 & turns out I was skipping an ep & straight watching ep 19 without actually knowing it, lol no wonder I missed that part. And yeah I don't actually buy Bao Meng has any romantic feeling towards Mu Ran since she seems too hesitant with him & the chemistry between them rather lukewarm and scream brother sister to me π but yeah agree let's see how this all play out, guess it's unpredictable even to the very end hahahah
Which ep are you at coz what I think from the recent ones is actually the opposite (her to finally end up with…
Lol, idk, Bao Meng is rather unpredictable to me, I've always thought she love Ye Ting but has always been feeling torn between her love & hating him for revenge. Even when Mu Ran told her about how Ye Ting has always been loving her, her reaction is rather feeling sad coz if he truly loves him why he did what he did in the past etc (instead of feeling disgusted & show hatred towards the idea of him loving her).
I thought what Bao Meng feel about Mu Ran was only about guilt to use him as her tools when he's only being kind & genuine to her. Idt Mu Ran truly loves Bao Meng as a lover either, they seem more like brother & sister to me π Since Mu Ran doesn't even feel bother being a cuckold ML even after seeing Bao Meng seducing & kissing Ye Ting etc. I think he mistook his adoration feeling towards her as love. And I don't think Mu Ran is aware about the bug/ FL curse either.
Guess we'll only know it by time after seeing the ending, lol

Ahahahah it's interesting how we can translate it differently in polar opposite ways, from ep 19 my take is Mu Ran already recognize Bao Meng as his brother's (as very well hers) first love/ crush, so he kinda accept her feelings isn't direct towards him, he want to help her to get his brother attention & love so he ask Bao Meng to trust him & follow his arranged drama they agree to play together with (that later we see onscreen) to revoke Ye Ting feelings towards her. Coz he know his brother love Bao Meng since childhood & the only thing get in the way between them is him not knowing Bao Meng real identity, as very well things that happened in the past.
Not sure how the remaining ep will play out, but this is what I get from ep 19 π€£
Okay I feel like we r getting to the point in the drama where they r finally moving the plot towards Xiao Mu Ran,…
Which ep are you at coz what I think from the recent ones is actually the opposite (her to finally end up with Ye Ting) & just feeling so close to celebrate it π
Yes the alteration they did was a massive change & the most essential part of the show.
I did post some of the detail of their HE awhile back with a quite certainty in mind that the drama will follow the novel (since some chapter that I read seem to follow it closely) Looks like I'm clowning myself here π€‘
I hope they can make a leeway (better be a good one) to give them a HE #fingerscrossedπ€ (not sure if we could see one, but hoping there's more story behind her mother's death)
I find lots of people be like straight up hating Hyeon O before actually giving him a chance or wait for his story to be revealed. So I'll just re-put my thoughts/ 2cents here
Some people have their words as their love language & some others have their gesture/ action as their love language, here I find Hyeon Oh is the latter.
If we ignore all the thing he said (he seems terrible at conveying what his feeling/actually meant is + his purpose was to push her away & let her stood up & lookout for herself more anw so I don't think it's fair to judge him based on that alone as it's not the real him)
If we see by his action, he actually do seem genuinely care & worried about her, accomodating her needs, like moving her airing channel time to suit her schedule best (even when Eun ho think it's impossible), give her some work that she actually like/ took interest (where her other collegues feel so sure she won't like it), to actually manage to save her both times, one when he wasn't even around/ present at scene before & 2nd with his presence he know her needs best, to calm her, etc.
And I think we shd see more before we can fully judge him, what his reason, what his scar is, just like people giving their time for JY, to actually open up, less rigid & cold than what he used to be before meeting Hye Ri & see his scar too.
My curiousity also gets the best of me so I just got back from skimming through novel pages to find out more about this part, I was looking from few chapters before middle part to the back but all the order of events seem way different, I was confused. Only by then I try to read the first chapter & turns out: The novel seem to have a different base than what the drama has actually told us about.
HBS in the novel was the original 9th princess from Enaqing & her mother didn't die either, she bid farewell to her in her hometown (I think) before she's being sent to her marriage to Yun Pei. I was bamboozled coz I remember reading some mid chapters & the drama seem to follow the novel scene per scene to even the dialogues, guess they mixed & match everything but the important part π€―
Now we only hv the drama & nothing to rely from the novel since her mother's death & princess switch part seems to be the alteration they make for the drama Not sure if I took that wrongly since I only skimming through parts, but π₯Ίπ
Someone who fully read the novel, please confirm π
Just to be sure, idt he directly call the mass shooting arrow, right? π Was it meant to be a warning to scare them away but there's a miscommunication with the eunuch or some sort of conspiracy that got her mother killed? π please tell me that it was the case here π
I'm so curious how they gonna play this all if they gonna give them a happy ending, but the answer will only get to be answered: 1. By time, watching it while being anxious until the drama reveal itself 2. By reading the novel, but that would take away the surprise & a chance to watch the drama with fresh eyes
Ep 10 is bittersweet & heartwrenching, I love it despite my heart is a lil' broken πbut this is my fav ep to date β€οΈπ₯Ήπ₯Ίπ₯Ήπβ€οΈβπ₯
You never say something you regret/ hurtful things to your loved ones or your family, out of momentarily emotional…
I see you're referring to all the things he said to push her away. I don't think it's fair to judge him based on it alone since I don't think it's the real him & I think he doesn't actually mean it, we need to see more of him & not when he's being obvious in pushing her away. We shall see a bit later after ep 4 I think.

Things seems to be heated up for our leads, I hope she's save, but considering her quickwit I believe she'll be fine β‘
