Didn't like the romance at all on Go Ahead but their family bonding are top notch. I also came to like SML more than ML (story & acting wise) that ZXC (SML actor on the original) become one of my fav actor. So let's see if the remake can actually do better & make the romance to be more palatable, coz it was so forced & unnecessary in the original to me (I didn't like the approach at all).

They can explore his root/ where his character came from, despite being a free spirit, you can see how deep down he has deep thoughts & mature as a character, both the writing & FYL's acting adding more depth to his character.
His character was told to be someone with high status, but why he abandoned all of that to live a carefree life without stable future, to even end up in jail, why he has commitment issue, etc. What happened in his past, did someone broke his heart too deeply to have him change his life principle & all?
I think it'll be interesting to show, telling Yu Shi San's POV, to know what he actually feel for Chu Yue & later they can also show him reuniting/ having second chance of life with his love/ bestfriend etc in modern time too.
