Something I love about the ML is that he isn't afraid to admit that he wants the job because of the money, many of us in real life want a job because it pays well but society looks down on you if you admit it

Another thing is that it seems like the romance will slowly be built up which I like, I also loved that conversation towards the end of ep 2 where she was very firm with him about the downsides of the job, she didn't hold back, this is what open communication looks like

Ahh yeah I can agree that the first half was slow, tbh I did wish for more interactions between the leads but oh well

So, something you have to know about this director is that many of his dramas critique something within Korean society. Those scenes about the literary question were meant to show how the overall education system is very dysfunctional. Students are not taught to learn but instead taught to memorize simply for exams. It also shows how the public school system is out of date and how the private academies aren't helping the students learn much but instead to just prepare for exams. Many students are also afraid to question things because it might ruin their chances of getting into university. Those scenes are very important, you have to see beyond the literary and understand it within the greater scope of the drama, which this drama deals with critique of the educational system in SK

1st episode was great, something I love about the 2 leads is how witty they are, they like to play with each other with words, I love that

Bro the brothers annoy me so much, he was giving them 2500 each month and they have the audacity to tell the ML "you've never done anything for us" bro what??

Yeah in the previews she is seen losing weight, also a fat suit is better than having the actress actually gain all that weight and then lose it again, that puts an enormous amount of stress on the body and could have a negative impact on her health

Its basically like parasite if you've seen the movie

I loved this drama, it is such a hidden gem, their relationship is so cute!! I also loved the storyline of the male doctor

It is not problematic at all, its actually very sweet

Oh yes the music is AMAZING. There are scenes where there is no dialogue but the music is sort of speaking to you, it drives many emotional parts, also when they play the piano it is almost as if they are writing a love letter to each other, you feel their love through the music. There is that one scene where he plays "twinkle twinkle little star" at the dinner party and you can see how the Ml is giving his soul to the Fl in that scene by playing that song that holds special meaning to them. Another scene where the music was very impactful was the scene with "Piano man" by Billy Joel, you see in that scene how the Fl is reflecting on her life and how she regrets so many things, that was a very strong scene. Honestly this drama is perfection from writing to directing to acting to the cinematography and musical score

This is my 2nd time watching this drama and I am still blown away at how amazing it is. I know people get turned off by seeing the title, I was the same, but trust me, it is not even an affair in my opinion considering the arrangement of the Fl's "marriage."

This drama has amazing chemistry between the leads, it really makes you root for them and it makes you believe that true love conquers all. The Fl's development throughout the drama is phenomenal, she was my favorite character. The ML was also great at playing the part of a young naive boy who is madly in love. This is one of the very few drama where I was left wanting more, the leads made me fall in love, I genuinely felt their love and care for each other, to the point that when this drama ended I felt as if the woman I loved had left me, idk how else to describe the feeling but this drama is amazing.

Piece of advice if you watch it, play very close attention to the dialogue in this drama, this is a very mature and well written drama that is carried by the dialogue and subtle facial & body expressions.

Yeah MDL has become so toxic, I feel like people just come on here to antagonize or hate, if you say anything positive they'll be so rude to you, look at Princess Repunzel giving this drama a good rating and in the comments people calling her a clown just for saying she likes the drama (which lets be honest here, its a good drama, ppl are overhating)

I loved the drama through and through, I thought the ending was very warm, I'm gonna miss this cast together, I think part of the reason I cried towards the end is that I didn't want it to end

People really fighting over which one is better, why not just appreciate both of them, both are amazing, I see people complaining about QOT ep 14 being bad and having subpar writing but I also remember yall saying the same thing about some CLOY episodes, people just like to complain, both dramas are phenomenal

Yup lol, people are just salty, QOT is amazing and deserves those ratings, people just love to hate

I think QOT will beat it, the highest rating for CLOY was 21.6%, last week QOT got its highest at 20.7% and this week's real time ratings were higher than last weeks so I think QOT will surpass CLOY

It isnt open brain surgery, what made her case so complicated was that they could not cut into her brain to take the tumors out, thats why they mention in the show that they are going to use high frequency ultra sound to try and destroy the tumors non-invasivly
