In china it's consider attractive to be pale skin. Most chinese actors and actresses have very pale skin because they don't go out much in the sun. China aesthetic is very different from the rest of the world.

I don't think xukai wear heavy make up, it's just he already has pale skin because in one of the bed scene you can see how pale his arm and neck are.

I notice chinese actors and actresses have lighter skin tones because being pale is consider to be attractive. They wear lots of sun screen and stay out of the sun in order to not get tan. I don't consider it a betrayal as they got together after jx and him broke up already. I just didn't like how she priotize him over her friendship with jx by going after him right after the break up. If she has wait a bit of time and ask jx before making a move on him then it wouldn't be a problem. For the ex bf he didn't get together with the friend right away, so this can't be consider a betrayal either.

I find both yi chen and qiu zi compatible if not for their relationship with jixing i think they match better compare to jixing and yi chen. If qiu zi has been honest and confess to jixing early on after their broke up about her feeling for yi chen i think ji xing would approve of their relationship rather than finding out on her birthday and been hurt by it. I also understand why yi chen would get marry so fast to qiu zi, with jixing he was ready to marry and settle down, but it was the wrong time for them, with qiu zi he found someone who is devoted to him and willing to settle down and have a family what he wanted.

His screentimes are less than mains but still very good, and he is love by many for his character i think even more than the ml ^^

You got a point so let me rephrase it i meant this drama is a romance in a business setting. Half of the show was about jixing start up business and her quitting her old job to start her own business that why i call it a business drama, but our understanding of what can be call a business drama is quite different. Also from the drama stand point i kind of assume china is still new to ai technology and medical devices. My understanding is very limited on this topic compare to yours. I think both jixing and su are tech nerds but not necessarily good in business, that's why finding hanting as an investor was a very smart move on their part as he help them with the initial start up money and business sense that both of them lack. There was one line by someone who works in hanhai a company that hanting involves in that i thought was interesting when he said their job waste money of investors as it take years for a product to be able to meet demands, while investors want to maximize profits and to shorten the time as possible. Jixing's company is still new so there's an expectation that it will take years for her company to succeed.

I know what you mean, i was wondering the same thing even if she did wanted to help that woman she couldn't just approve it without going through the proper channel. What confused me was she asked shao yi chen her ex a doctor who work at that hospital to look at that woman's chart and he approved it, he was the person in charge of approving the procedure without him approving it, it wouldn't go through even if she did want to help that woman.

Drama still has a way to go so i think it will have plenty of eps for personal growth ^^

What do you mean by saying this is not a business drama, half of the show was about them starting a business and finding an investor until they landed on hanting. Also i don't think everyone who open a business are good in business at the beginning, they all have to learn from mistakes and trial and error. I also think su was naive and clueless when it comes to starting a business, i think he has always been dependent on his parents' money that's why when he started a business with jixing, he was looking to his father for help and got turned down by his father as his father didn't think he would succeed and even told him he would not help him beside giving them a small office, and told him once he failed to come work for him, this makes me think his family is well off, and he has never have to worry about money before that's why he got scammed so easy due to trusting the wrong person. I think him and jixing were both naive and don't have much knowledge about starting a business even if the both of them are consider tech nerds who are very talented but don't have good people skills.

Her character was naive and emotional that's true, and she's a tech nerd so she's not very good at being social. However i think this will leave her a lot of room for growths in future eps.

Hanting's uncle has the hot for jixing's friend, while hanting's cousin is boyfriend to jixing's other friend. And now hanting and jixing are a couple. Hanting and jixing have very a very close circle lol 😆

Jixing got inspired when she went to that fishing village for charity work at her old company to start her own business by an older woman who had a disability, so this is not out of nowhere. I can see why she would get pull in by this woman as she has a soft heart and her wanting to start her own business came from her wanting to help those people who couldn't get access to these services. It's a dream she wants to do since college from her speech back then when she and hanting won an ai contest.

I feel for jixing, her good deed to that woman who begged her for help might turn back to bite her and her company as well as hanting. The husband looks trouble, hanting shouldn't have agree to pay him, it looks like someone has staged this to make trouble for him.
