He lost too much weights in my opinion. But agree the dresses for fl are beautiful, and xukai looks so handsome is his costumes as well. I'm so glad to know this drama has a high budgets so we can expect a good production. Xukai praised the script and genre of this drama so I'm even more excited for the final product ^^

Xukai looks so cool in his battle armors. I think this drama has the most beautiful costumes for both the men and the women, I wonder if the budgets all went to the wardrobes because all the colors really stand out and eye-catching as a result cgi is poor because they ran out of budgets lol.

It's fine to have a different opinion. I think lini reaction is understandable and within reason so I wasn't mad at him for his reaction. I also don't think his men's death or his nurse's poison was cuilin's fault like so many accused her since the one who was responsible was her fake brother and lini's brothers. That memo just set things in motion faster. There's no reason why you can't finish the drama since drama ending is really satisfying ^^

The only problem is his officials all think the same way that the cui army has gotten too strong. Only general pei was on cui yi side and speak up for him. Even when minister gu hasn't sided with the fake cuilin, he was always against general cui yi because he wanted his daughter to get together with lini, and think the cui army is a threat. The emperor in war time actually wants to take over the cui army by marrying his sons to cui yi daughter, but once peace is restore he saw the cui army as a big threat to the throne and wants to disbanded the army and that was before the villains interfere.

Because they both understand each other enough to know to read what the other is thinking. I think that's why they're both so attracted to each other from their first meeting, both of them were trying to outsmart the other by anticipating what the others are thinking when they first met ^^

You're the few to be mad at ml for his treatment of fl, some viewers were saying he was simping for her letting her getting away with stepping all over him since she never apologized for what happened to his men, and because of her pushing him to be crown prince that caused many unfortunate things that happened like his nurse was poisoned and his men were killed etc.

Since I didn't read these comments I can't say about whether they're just haters in general or truly alp fans. However I'm just saying not all opinions have to be haters if they do prefer one drama over the other since mdl is a public space that gather many opinions. There been people who commented in alp that they preferred other xanxia dramas over it and it's their opinions, and I'm sure other people on here who might comments they like another xanxia over this one besides alp, so not sure why you only narrow down to alp fans as being haters of this drama.

I agree with you about her only seeing it's being cut down in size but not anticipating the court seeing her family army as a threats due to their strength as well as her family army does not answer to the imperial family. I think she was short sighted in not seeing the big picture of what will the court think about her family being too strong or her position as a crown princess will makes her family becomes a threats to the court. What you said about fl wanting ml to see the bigger picture when all along ml in my opinion did see it, but what he was worried and thinking about was he might have to fight her and her father after he did becomes crown prince, that's why he hesitated, and he even admitted it in one instant. Even her father knew what was happening and wasn't as surprised as she did, and it's not that she's block from knowing since general pei and general pei junior came to notify her and her father of what happened in court so they do have some ideas about the court being against them.

No it's not a fact, people who have want to watch this drama and wasn't sure if they need to watch alp so they asked whether they have to watch it. I have seen other people who asked about sword and fairy or ten miles the same way because they have never watch the drama before and want to know whether they have to watch the prequels and people are happy to answer for them. Not sure what's your problem with saying your fans, I'm my own person and don't speak or represent anyone, I just don't understand why you keep complaining about alp when people can have their own opinions about what they like and dislike and don't bring fandom into this, i'm just a drama watcher and like what i like, but i wouldn't disregarded other people's opinions just because they're different from my own as long as they're being respectful.

Not sure why you automatically think it's a hater when someone has a comment different from your own. This drama has a prequel, so if someone like the prequel better they're welcome to their opinion, and shouldn't be call a hater for liking the other drama. At the end of the day they're just dramas mean for entertainment, you shouldn't get so caught up in this made up campaign as you called it. I was interested in watching this drama because of my love for alp, and it doesn't make sense for the people on here to claim it was due to alp that caused this drama being unsuccessful lol. A good drama can stand on its own without the need to put down another drama. Ten miles also has a sequel and they were compare to each other many times, and each drama has its own fandoms and doesn't put down the other drama just because someone like the one drama over the other.

Not sure why you have to bring xukai name into this drama or complain about his acting when you don't watch his dramas. I would've recommended watching ancient love poetry to find out your answers to those questions, but since you don't watch xukai's works then it's your loss. Kind of weird to complain about someone's acting when you don't watch their dramas lol, only a hater would do that.

Why would you drop the drama if the leads don't become enemies, sorry not following your logic, here I'm watching and was waiting for them to work together since they both have the same ideas just different methods to go about doing it. Also not sure why you would want to drop the drama when it's almost finish only 4 eps to the end of the drama, the drama ending to me is just the best because they both got what they wanted, it's been a long time since i seen such a satisfying ending.

I know it's about this drama, but you can't expect other people to not bring other dramas and talk about it if those other dramas were done by the actors in this drama. I'm sure you've talked about dramas seven tan has done in the past with other actors here too, so not sure what's your problem with me talking about another drama done by xukai. They had break up but will always get back together. Don't worry this relationship is more sweeter for each of their breakup, I really love this couple because they never stop loving each other even they have many disagreements ^^

He did come to visit her after she was sick if I remember correctly even though at first he thought she was pretending to be sick since one of his men tried to make him sick but failed. And they even had a talk about it and he apologized since he understood she wanted to save him, he has his reason for being mad at her though since she could've put the crown grandson in danger with her action. Also I'm not sure what you're expecting from him do you like being told to do something that is against your wishes, he just wants to marry her but she put a condition on him forcing him to be crown prince or he can't marry her. It's not just him being stubborn she also. They're both smart and stubborn people who follow their principles and ideals and won't be budge, but what I like is they will always makes up and get back together because throughout their differences they never stop loving each other. Ep 30 and 31 were the most painful for ml, and they made up by that point. There will be another fight between them though due to her army having to be disbanded, they're not perfect so they remind me of any normal couple having fights, but their relationship were always strong so it's just a test of their love for each other each time there's a disagreement between them.
