That depends on the story. I hope for as beautiful as you to have a good storyline that gives justice to the length of the drama. I watched modern dramas with longer eps before with a good storyline so I hope this drama will surprise us ^^

That was fast, modern drama doesn't take as long to get distribution license I guess. Xukai other modern drama as beautiful as you also got distribution license not long ago, but this is the fastest record for a modern drama. Congratulations to xukai and yangzi for their drama getting distribution license, I hope it won't be rush and will become a success ^^

Ep 38 and 39 xukai's acting was so raw. I always know he's good in emotional scenes but for this drama he has outdone himself. Also really like cuilin appearance and both of them fighting together side by side while they're surrounded by enemies and working together to defeat the enemies. I'm glad tao zi was saved and I hope she will survive, both she and chang er made such a cute pair that I don't want anything to happen to them. This pairing is so different from the main leads, their relationship works because chang er always let taozi leads and he always gives in to her. The main pairs on the other hand both of them are strong and stubborn so they clash in their beliefs and ideals. I like both pairings and like the contrast between them ^^

That true about miss gu playing the long game, but she loss the game when her mother ruined it with the drug, also lini said he will never see her again so it would be difficult for her to get anything out of lini even if his father wants to give her the crown princess title. I think lini has a stubborn streak, and as long as he doesn't want to do something nobody can force him even his father, even cuilin when she tried to force him to take the crown prince title by leveraging herself.

I just think he's foolish for not trusting his one son who has saved him many times as well as being the one who gotten him the throne. If lini truly wants power, he could've rebels a long time ago and the emperor couldn't even lift a finger against him.

Since you asked how did lini got sent away without his father's approval. I just answered your question, he wanted to escape the palace so he became rebellious and were disapprove by both his grandfather and father, so they sent him to the border as punishment, not knowing it was exactly what he wanted. I'm saying spoiled here is the punishment was too light for the crime, murdered your wife and attempted to poison your brother and the punishment was kind of like a slap on the wrist. Both his brothers were treated much better by his father than him he got reprimanded for every little thing while his brother committed a much bigger offense and this emperor was ready to forgive him. This emperor is easy to be manipulated because of his ego, as long as someone praised him, he was ready to believe anything they said. Even if it's not easy to distinguish loyalty, he should be able to trust his own son, but this emperor is so foolish that he would trust the word of an outsider over his own family. Yes it does indicate his dumbness if you see all the comments complaining about this emperor and calling him the dumbest emperor in history, they're not wrong. I do agree his being dumb is a caricature and the actor did a good job of playing him, and makes him funny at times that you can't help but laugh at how dumb he's.

Miss gu is just as delusional as fake cuilin if she thinks she can get Lini's love and becomes crown princess if cuilin was killed. She is so different from the simple girl who just wants to pay him back for saving her life or she was always like that and just hides it well like father like daughter I guess. Also how is cuilin being crown princess able to leave the palace without any guards coming with her for protection, it's kind of a stretch for someone like cuilin who supposedly is smart to fall into such a trap and being kidnapped in brought daylight with no one the wiser. Also that emperor is so stupid, he doesn't trust his own son and automatically thinks of the worse scenario without trying to find out why he close all the gates. This father and son don't have good communications, if lini has told his father his crown princess has gone missing, then the emperor wouldn't be misled by minister gu that he was starting a rebellion. I'll chalk this up to lini not thinking straight because he was worry for his wife's safety so he didn't make the best decision.

From my understanding, he deliberately faked his rebellious nature so he could be send away by the previous emperor. And brothers were spoiled, you must missed the part when lini was punished as a kid even though it was his older brother that wronged him, this is because he was looked down on for his mother's lowly status. Also his oldest brother killed his wife and servants and he was grounded in his mansion and not put in jail, and later was released giving him a chance to poison lini's nurse. He attempted to poison his own brother, and this father called it an argument between brothers and begged to give him a lighter punishment instead of exile him. Also him believes minister gu over his own son, even his empress is smarter than him lol, he wasn't cut out to be emperor, he wasn't trained for the position of crown prince and he doesn't know to distinguish between people who are loyal to him and those who want to take advantage of him. If not for lini, he would never be able to sit on the throne for long.

I'm so tired of hearing the same repeated recycled scandal that kept being brought up everytime like don't you have anything else to talk about. Also you're right about them bringing up the actresses he paired with being famous and still his dramas still flop and the only example they can come up with is yangmi and zhou dong yu. Funny thing is they were also the one that brought up both actresses bashing them being too old or too ugly. Although both yangmi and zhou dong yu have been in the business for a long time, so they don't dare to attack them openly, so xukai is an easier target. I wonder how his company has allowed this to happen, him being attacked openly like this every time he has a drama airing. Now they even dare to bring jing tian into it and said wonderland of love was also a flop like are you kidding me xukai gotten the title of being tencent global ambassador and their pairing is also love by many viewers lol.

Is his character going to have white hair because I would like to see xukai with white hair ^^

The outfits in this drama are so beautiful, the head pieces for the females are very pretty. I especially like the main leads wedding dresses, red and gold really stand out. Also them fighting on their wedding night and pointing their swords at each other, why i'm not surprised and even thought it's fitting for this couple lol ^^

So finally they both get married, but they both don't seem very happy. Cuilin is angry with lini about her family army got disbanded and her father became mad, while lini is angry at cuilin for refusing to marry him when all the time she refused him because he didn't want the crown prince title, now that he's crown prince she still refuses him. It's not his fault girl, what do you expect marrying into the royal family, you should've known by now what is expected of the crown princess. He has to give up his freedom, you have to give up your family army a fair exchange. Miss gu became Lini's concubine and he's being very nice to her by telling her he will let her go if she finds someone else to love her, but she's not giving up easily and is planning with her father to target cuilin. I'm not surprised minister gu is a traitor he's just too good to be true when lini praise him so much in the beginning for not desiring power for himself and is popular with the people, now I'm wondering is he only wants to be the father in law or does he desire even more power by working with jieshuo. Glad general cui yi was cure of his madness and cuilin and lini also made up, I was a bit annoyed with her over her blaming him when he gotten really sick to get his father to agree to their marriage. Lini is so patience and understanding, she's such a lucky girl to find such a caring husband. That fake cuilin is still delusional, she already married and he has still not given up.

Agree about immature fans in every fandom. I think for xk fans they should be careful not letting themselves be targeted and turn against him. So that's what happens I was wondering why he was slandered all the time everytime I hear something about him. He was rarely gossip about, but when I hear something about him, it was always these yxh ragged his dramas and called his dramas flop, and I don't think any other actors/actresses gotten the same treatment even when their dramas didn't do well.
