So what happened to that third male lead, did his scenes get cut since sokp was able to air. Anyway it kind of stupid reason to not air a drama because of billing issue since I only heard of this issue when drama was shooting not after it already finished shooting. We as outsiders don't understand this billing issue either, why is it such a big deal that fans would fight over it, I remember the same thing happened when abay started shooting lots of seven tan fans didn't like it that xukai was equal billing with her.

So there's a chance both seven and xukai will promote for their drama ABAY? That would be nice if they're promoting for it that means it's ready to air soon. I'm also hopeful xukai will promote for sf6 as well with ester yu ^^

I think her exile was for 100 years not 1000 years if I remember correctly. And you're right, baijue never planned for qingmu to fall in love with houchi, so his plan almost was ruined because houchi fall in love with qingmu.

So there were changes from novel, I heard some people like the changes in the drama and think drama better than novel. I wonder if the reason they added the first 15 episodes is to make viewers don't hate baijue and shanggu because some people were blaming baijue and shanggu because they felt pity to houchi and qingmu. Even though i also like houchi and qingmu a lot, I was always rooting for shanggu and baijue because I watched them first, also I like how shanggu developed from a carefree girl to someone who's responsible and cares about the three realms.

I would call seven tan cute rather than beautiful, and nothing wrong with that. Like you said she has that girl next door type of beauty that appeals to many audiences. Agree I feel this drama will be a hit internationally and can also be a hit in china market as well, I also hope it will gets lots of promotions ^^

Yeah wondering the same thing why it stayed only 8.5 rating . This is the first drama with an ending that's fully satisfying and gives us a complete ending unlike so many cdramas that has an open ending or only a few minutes of happy ending for the main leads.

I heard alp added the beginning of the drama to give some background to the characters and it was written by the author. Also drama also gave more characters arc to wuhuan and tianqi compare to novel if I'm not mistaken.

I think ep 30 and ep 31 were the most angst eps. After that I really like how cuilin was there for lini while he was going through griefs, this is when we get to see how much cuilin love lini and her understanding of lini just like how lini showed his understanding and was there for her when she went through her own grief. Probably because you skipped the drama that why you felt that way, for me drama that has many kiss scenes don't automatically equal to chemistry, it's other things they do for each other that made their relationship stands out like lini fold the paper crane for cuilin when she was going through grief and was angry at him, then later cuilin did the same for lini when he was going through his own grief. This drama has so many moments of this couple fights and then show us their sweet moments as a result as an audience you feel their relationship is real like any normal couple going through hardship or having different goals and priorities, but it will never breaks the bond they have or their love for each other. This is what I consider a true relationship. For the annoying character, the only one who I felt was truly annoying was the fl's fake brother because of how lucky he was, I guess you could said he has plot armor, otherwise for those other characters I felt they were written well, even the ml father and older brothers I thought their characters and acting were great, they really made us understand what it means when you don't have a choice in family; they were mostly entertaining because of how foolish they were ^^

Didn't know those two dramas gotten such high rating on douban. Nowadays not many dramas can get such high rating due to all the haters on douban. Was it a risky role to take, nothing wrong with taking a risky role and since following after the much successful cp1 and cp3 they will definitely be compare. My hope is it will be the best adaptation from the game since that's what matters, and CGI will be better than the older CP1 and 3.

I think the chemistry was save by ml and I agree with you fl is not too expressive, but on the other hand ml is just so fun after he falls in love he's really expressive ^^

I thought they have great chemistry both in drama and in BTS even if FL is not very expressive, ml save it with his acting. Not sure what do you mean by lack of chemistry, their chemistry was so natural here.
