Yeah I remember someone shared the stat he was the actor with the top number of dramas views in 2021. Ancient love poetry gotten so much hate when it first aired, but still did very well. It was always at number 1 on the top 10 list while it aired ^^

I think he could do all these moves so effortless because he's very athletic. I know he likes playing basketball, badminton and he also practiced archery, so when shooting action scenes it looks realistic when he does it rather than faking it, he learned the moves himself just like in snow eagle lord when he was fighting with a spear or in this drama when he fight with different weapons, drawings a bow or riding a horse. That's why I like him doing action dramas, I think xukai like doing it too. I'm also afraid he can get injured from shooting so many action dramas, fortunately he didn't get injured shooting in wonderland of love or his other dramas since court lady.

Thanks for sharing xukai's stats. As an international fan it's hard to get any infos about him since I don't have weibo. He keeps getting trashed when his name is mentioned and his dramas called flopped beside story of yanxi palace that I think he has some dedicated haters.

Yeah I felt the same when I was watching ancient love poetry and other dramas in the past too. Iquyi sub wasn't that great either i remember watching arsenal military academy and fl was dressed up as a boy but she was refer to as a she by sfl when she never figured out her gender until she was told later on.

I'm rewatching the drama on viki and I think the sub there is better than the one on YouTube. Does anyone feel the same?

What answer I already said what I want to say. Let drop this already, it's not that uncommon to be related to some higher up and getting special treatment. And it's not something to be look down on either like some of you automatically think I was putting her down or something lol.

I do appreciate him doing his own fight scenes. Ever since I saw court lady, I have a much more appreciation for xukai since he made me realize he's a serious actor when watching his fight scenes in that drama. His character went through so much heartache, have such a huge character development, and become someone dependable that fl could put her trust in.

Now I would like to see him in more action dramas because he made for that genre, his sword dance in ep 6 was so graceful and skillfully done. I would like to see him fight with swords more often. I heard he was injured in court lady from falling from his horse and also in this drama, and he's wearing a back brace to protect his back since then. I hope the production team will put more protection in place for xukai in his future dramas since there's a risk of injury for actor that's true. I saw a video of xukai filming dance of the sky empire and it's true what you just said about him climbing down a cliff with a rope. He's a dedicated actor who love doing what he loves ^^

It's just an observation like I said since I thought last immortal wouldn't be release until next year. Other dramas that were shot earlier and gotten distribution license still haven't got a release date. I don't pay too much attention on what platform airing what dramas, but bailu dramas this year that were released were from iquyi, and xukai dramas were both from tencent so you can have more than one drama airing from the same platform. It has nothing to do with zhao lusi, just an observation and I follow this drama because it's a sequel to alp.

I don't expect their drama to get an air date this year, you can hope but I doubt it that's why I was surprised the last immortal got to air so fast when it usually takes longer to pass censorship and get license to broadcast. I think his drama ABAY is more likely to get to air first than saf6.

I was interested in this drama as a sequel to alp, I'm just a normal drama watcher so I'm not that interest in fandom . I saw xk and zls bulgari commercial and like their cooperation, i also watched a movie with them and her drama before, so it's not my intention to drag on her. Let just end this discussion since it's pointless.

I just made an observation that she had three dramas aired like clockwork for five years in a row which made me curious if she was related to someone who was the higher up so her dramas got better treatment. Not saying that what happened and she was just that lucky.

She had three dramas released every year like clockwork from 2018 to 2023 so I thought it was too much of a coincidence, just an observation no need to make a big deal out of it.

I agree she's very lucky since I saw from her profile she had 3 or 4 of her dramas aired every year, that why I said what I said. Every actor/actress has anti not just lusi, and they're also just as hardworking and don't have any scandal besides malicious rumors that were bought and paid by yxh accounts, they're just not as lucky as her to have such smooth airing schedules.
