Same here I like his acting but I also like him as a person who is kind and caring to his fans, who's also really nice to his parents. He said to his fans to don't spend money on him but to spend money on themselves and their parents, makes me have a different eyes about him.

He only had one scandal when he just started out acting and that was when he became popular with story of yanxi palace that came from his ex-girlfriend accused him of domestic violence and cheating with an actress he was paired with in his dramas. He has to make a statement and apologized but denied the charges made against him. Take it with a grain of salt since this is an ex who could be bitter about their breakup and just want to make trouble for him since he was getting lots of attention at the time, but I heard he got lots of backlash for it as well as the actress that was accused with him as a result they haven't pair with again ever since the rumor; later there was a video with the same ex-girlfriend that made people think it was the ex- girlfriend that was the one being violent in the relationship. Anyway it was many years ago, but some haters of his still bringing it up even now.

I like xukai because he's hardworking, and seeing him in interviews and fan meeting videos made me think he's just a regular guy who is very kind to fans, doesn't put on air, and is a very modest person who just like acting and does what he likes.

I have always like the fl in xukai dramas, they're strong and opinionated. The only thing I don't like in his dramas are the love triangle that I felt ruined many good dramas. This drama I'm just glad sml and sfl are not the cause of the main leads misunderstanding, and they were able to talk things out to reach an understanding. This kind of relationship is what I consider mature and requires understanding and patience from both parties to make the relationship work since both are opinionated and stubborn. A relationship only lasts when you go through hardship and putting in the effort. It's not a typical romantic drama and can be a bit heavy for those who're not into melodrama, and like a more straightforward romance. This also depends on the type of audiences, it will probably appeal to more older audiences, as well as those who are into angst dramas.

I don't feel she's selfish at all, she's thinking for the country and also for him because she loves him and afraid his life will be put in danger if he wasn't crown prince. If they had a capable emperor and his brothers are trustworthy, or the grand crown prince isn't a child then I don't think she would be that insistent on him becoming crown prince since she said herself she doesn't care what title he has she loves him for himself. I don't see that being selfish when you want to serve your country, and put the country interests over your own.

Because compare to them she's just a child, they're hundred thousand years old while she's ten thousand years old so to them she's young and will have time to learn to lead; they all spoiled her as she was growing up that's why she acted that way, that why they asked baijue to train her since he's very disciplined. Later on when she met baijue who doesn't spoil her, you will see her growth and change as she trained under him.

Some people who don't like the fl were saying the same thing and dropped the drama early on since they said fl doesn't deserve ml. For those who only watching for romance and doesn't like how fl being independent and have her own purpose in life other than just being the other half of ml might not welcome such an fl. As I also like the story and how different fl is to the usual fl in historical dramas I'm loving her character. I like their fights and also the conflicts they have and just want to see how they will resolve their conflict of interests.

I'm waiting for confirmation date, rumors are not reliable but I'm still hoping it's real ^^

Cuilin was raised as a boy so her behavior is unlike other respectable young ladies. I think that's why miss gu was introduce to show how different the two ladies are. Miss gu is gentle and understanding, good at sewing, and act like a proper young lady unlike cuilin who more forward to the guy she likes rather than hiding her true intentions, she speaks and flirt with lini, she likes to tease him and compete with him to show her interest in him. Lini was also the first guy she wants to marry when she wasn't interested in marriage before. Agree lini is such a good catch, what girl wouldn't wants him. Yeah he never won against cuilin, but it's alright to lose against the girl you love since he doesn't seem to mind it too much ^^

Most of us who watch this drama since it started love this couple chemistry, you're the few who said otherwise. These two have so much chemistry that we want them to participate in another drama together lol.

I checked the episode guide, and the number of rater haven't changed much, not many rate the later eps compare to the earlier eps that means still a lot of people haven't finish the drama. I started watching from the beginning and haven't finish the drama either. I think once drama finishes airing more people will rate the drama and hopefully it will get better rating. These days I was checking the rank, and the number keeps going up, and didn't go down, so I was thinking if some people must hate the drama to rate it low to make the drama stay 8.5. Anyway rating doesn't reflect how good a drama is since i noticed some dramas that are popular got better rating than dramas that are not as popular, so don't mind it.

The fl in this drama compare to fl in court lady another drama of xukai are so different like night and day even though both are strong and smart, fl in court lady are more ladylike and good in domestic compare to fl in wonderland of love who is only good in war tactics and fighting and love to play games with ml. However I like cuilin for that reason, she's not perfect and has many flaws unlike the typical fl in cdramas who are good in everything, but also not forthcoming and that leads to misunderstanding. I'm glad in this drama ml and fl have fights, but they're very honest with each other and always talk things out to settle their differences. This is so much better than the relationship between ml and fl in court lady although that was also due to fl working in the palace, still those two took so much time to set things right and had such a long fight, they were separated most of the drama although i like that as a result of his separation with fl, ml growth so much during that time ^^

If ml doesn't want to be crown prince that's his choice, if he's being forced into accepting a post he doesn't want, when all he wants is to go back to laolan pass as he been saying from early on then he has the right to sulk and makes it as unpleasant as he wants lol. I was predicting he will be forced to take the position later on after something bad happened that will force his hands...

So their bathtub kiss was shorten? That too bad I saw a bath tub kiss scene that was shared on YouTube and that was steamy, is there even a longer version ^^

Lini is the perfect boyfriend. He's smart and quick on his feet, has good martial arts and know to sew and fix things with his hands. He even knows how to cook. That scene when he fixed the pinwheels for cuilin and their hands touch and they both look at each other and share a moment together, looks like they both already had feeling for each other at that time. Cuilin even kept that pinwheels lini gave her as a memento for a while. She also bet with him her mother's hairpin as negotiation when they were at hanli mansion. If she didn't care for him, she wouldn't make such a bet since it's important to her.

It could be haters masquerading as alp fans. Alp also gotten hated on when it first started, and the fl was hated on for her looks.

I'm alp fan but I don't see why you're blaming on alp fans for the rating being low. I'm also wondering why rating is so low being it only just started.

I'm glad viki changed their names then since I gotten use to their names from watching on YouTube, so that would be really weird hearing different names from the same characters.

Does that mean once upon a time is the drama of xukai that has the highest views compared to his other dramas? What about story of yanxi palace, all his other dramas keep being compare to that one.
