It been a while since I watched, so if I remember right this was when Chumu rescued furou from assassins and both of them were hiding in a cave. My guess is both of them slept together, that's how furou able to convince Chumu she's still in love with him and she does not have any relation with prince zhou. In my opinion both of them needs only to have time to talk to each other to settle their disagreement, so that was a really good chance for them to settle their difference. Chumu is a general, but when it comes to furou, he can't help but act like a little kid, I doubt he'll grow out of it lol. He's just like his dad ^^

I don't really care about their scandal one way or another since to me the most sacred thing is marriage, and since they're not married his cheating on her is their business. Let say if he was the only one who's punished I wouldn't say anything, so then why is gulinazha name got drag into their argument, that's what I want to know. Does this girl even know who he cheated with, or is she just want to make trouble for him regardless if other innocent names got drag into this.

Actually baijue and shanggu are the same type of people who would do their duties by giving up their love. Shanggu sacrificed her life causing baijue to feel lots of guilt over her death since he blame himself for forcing her into becoming the chief god causing her death. In their second life he made the choice of not falling in love with her again, qingmu falling in love with houchi is not in his plan, and that's why he broke up with houchi thinking it would cause her less pain compare to her being heartbroken for him when he died. Yes I think his judgement is wrong, but this is because he overestimated her strength, he thinks in a few years after he gone, she could move on and live the life she wanted. Shanggu admired baijue for his strength of character and his love for the three realms and baijue also see her in the same light. Granted shanggu has done so much in her sacrifice in her last life that she deserves to have a rest and act lazy once in a while in my opinion. Also in this world, it was the ancient god that made the law, so the only one who could break that law is the ancient god, and shanggu praying to the ancient god to me is a miracle, because for a while she was accepting baijue can not come back, it was only hongri that gave her the idea that not everything is absolute, so that's why I think in this instance praying to the ancient god is her last desperate act and it paid off, even though she didn't know if it would work.

The rules are not in black and white since there is no absolute in this world when it comes to magic, just like shanggu said about Jing tian someone who used dismemberment can't come back, but for fengran he was able to do so and raise his god scent in another body...The rule is written by the author and she wants to write the story however she wants, there's another book written for yuemi and tianqi, yuemi was reborn as a human but it wasn't addressed here, the young girl houchi met on earth and trained by qingmu was yuemi's reincarnation. Also was there such a rule that gods can't come back to life once they died, it's only true when it's humans. Gods are a different matter entirely, as this drama proven ^^

Why do you think it's pointless exactly. The idea was to give shanggu another chance at life and to save the three realm, so it's not pointless. Also them being true gods they never attempt to pray to the ancient god for anything because they think he will not listen due to they're not humans. The ending for me is kind of a miracle, but it's not impossible since anything can happen when you're dealing with magic and possibilities. The idea that the ancient god care enough for shanggu to listen to her prayer I kind of like it because he was the one that made all the rules and gave them their duties as chief god and true god, so he should be able to break the rule for shanggu as well and let baijue reborn since I felt he owed them that much for their carrying out their duties as he gave them. I kind of took it as a lesson in life as well as long as you don't give up, anything is possible even if other people tell you it's impossible.

It's fine to give feedback, but you still haven't give me an example of what drama he needs work on. For me his facial expressions and emotions are the reasons why I been following him since story of yanxi palace. I think he's like a chameleon and can change himself for different characters and be in that characters state of mind.

Agree, this is such an underated series, it should've much higher rating. This is the one drama I could rewatch certain scenes and it still gives me the same feeling as when I first watched it. The story telling and characters development for major characters are great, as well as the cgi when they use magic ^^

I remember hearing before the drama going to air that they were adding more eps, but then it was rush out to replace a drama that was taken off iqiyi due to censorship. I'm sad the censorship ruined this drama since there were so many things I like about it, but the ending and editing feel rush due to cutting out some crucial scenes.

Every other noona romance dramas has comes out except this one. I remember ranting about exactly the same thing when another older woman/younger man drama was airing while this one kept postponing the air date. I think I can counted on one finger the number of noona romance dramas that came out this year alone. Why is this drama so unlucky, the concept is interesting, but if they kept postponing the air date people will move on since they already seen something similar from those dramas that already aired :(

It was due to eSport fans, they even harass the ml and fl before drama started just because they had issue with the author of the novel. Should've make a big deal when the novel was written but no wait until the drama adapted to harass the actors, their behaviors similar to the toxic fans behavior in this drama. As for me I never care about rating, dramas that are enjoyable I will rate it high, my rating for this drama is 9.5 ^^

Yeah it could be because I like gaming that's why I thought this drama is fun, while drama with just romance would be boring for me...

The drama didn't catch my attention until the ml's brother came back, the same with the fl I thought she was too girly and childish at first. But she does improve as the show goes on. It's lighthearted and fun, but it's not for everybody.

I love his interpretation of fuheng, so he's still my SLS ^^ Agree his comedic timing was very natural, not force. I like those characters he played in dance of the sky empire, arsenal military academy for that reason as well ^^

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I can see why you like those two characters. Both are very intelligent and can see through those they come in contact with. Wanglu is such a fun character that I would like to see xukai play a similar type of character again, or if we could get a season 2 of once upon a time in lingjian mountain. Fuheng from story of yanxi palace was the first drama I watched of xukai, and he gave me a really good impression by playing him, being fuheng was so mature and he played him from a young man to his old age. I was heartbroken for his and yingluo broken promise. I also really like how supportive he was to her after he found out she became the king's concubine. Xukai being in royal feast with wu Jin Yan truly mend my broken heart from yanxi palace ^^

Who knows, it finished filming in Feb of this year,. If we're lucky we could get it at the end of the year, otherwise it probably air next year.

So you don't like his characters in arsenal military academy, ancient love poetry, story of yanxi palace and court lady, etc? Those are the characters he's most popular with fans. Don't be offended, I'm just wondering about why you only like Wang lu and Zhu zhan ji.
