Everyone has a different requirements for a perfect partner, your requirements will not always be the same as someone else. Not really, I was apprehensive about her character ever since I found out she was dating the ex-bf of qin shi. Will she makes trouble for her once she found out about her boyfriend dating her boss. Jealousy can turn a good person into another person entirely.

Yes I assume that's the reason he being call the perfect husband. As a career woman, she doesn't need a man in her life and that's why she's still single. They made a pact together for him to be her fake husband to advance her career, and for him to escape from his mother blind dates. As of right now, he's rather work from home stock trading, I hope there will be more of his backstory as the drama unfolds. I find his character breaks the stereotype of what a man suppose to be doing, his philosophy of living minimalist is also interesting. Who care if he doesn't follows the same pattern as other ml.

Ep 7 is so funny. Yang hua was sleeping outside qin shi room in order to stop her from going to the office while being drunk ^^ Also that awkward moment between the two of them when qin shi asked what mint meant in the language of love. Yang hua reaction was so cute, didn't know mint mean eternal love, interesting that yang hua brought the plant home does that mean he's starting to fall for qin shi. Can't wait to see how they will fall for each other ^^

That ex bf is still not over qin shi. Kind of feel bad for his new girlfriend. Is he going to make trouble for qin shi and yang hua?

I only watched to ep 6 so I don't know qin shi family background either, but she was the one that set up yang hua blind date to li dai so I know she approves of her, but she's not happy with qin shi after finding out he's dating her.

Wonder how old is li dai, she's a lawyer and yang hua mom seems ok with her dating her son, so his mother problem must be qin shi's age being she's older than her son. My opinion li dai must be in her 20s, this could also explain why she can stay single and it's not a problem for the company compare to qin shi being in her 30s. As women get older, they are being treated differently compare to men in the same position. Women as they they turn 30s are already consider old, men dating younger women is consider the norm, but women dating younger men are being frown upon. This drama draws attention to the gender difference and how society view them. I'm really liking it so far, how women are facing so much hardships in their careers compare to men. Qing shi has to hide her status of being single in order to compete in the same field as her male counterpart due to her age.

It's alright not to share the same opinion. However if a drama is not to my preference I would drop it but not rate it since I didn't get very far into the drama to give a fair rating. You must like the attention and being call a hater if you're going to rate a drama when it just started and never plan to finish it.

I did, I think it describes yang hua color choices and personality so well. Can't wait to see more of his backstory ^^

If you only just start a drama then why even rate a drama down if you're not going to finish. It made people think you're a hater since who rate a drama that early and think it's a fair assessment of the drama.

Was it hype I didn't know. I would say from watching the drama just the two leads alone are giving me butterflies in my stomach, so this drama tick off all the boxes for a modern drama for me, it's not just a romance, and the leads are getting times to build up their relationship. It also focuses on workplace issues. I don't mind giving this drama a 10, if it keeps going at the pace it's going.

That music that was playing in ep 5 when yang hua helped qing shi sounds very nice. Notice yanghua way of dress and color choices really represents his personality, I also like his thinking in order to be happy just lower your expectations. Compare to qing shi way of dressing up is totally different, two opposite personalities, can't wait to see how they'll fall in love in the following eps.

I like most of his pairings, but the one stands out for me is zhou dong yu and xukai in ancient love poetry, and I'm also liking his current drama pairing in she and her perfect husband ^^

In term of the couples, the main CP is what I care about. The fl's brother and his wife seems like a toxic relationship, can't understand how they can stay married. Him being so nonchalant about being with the opposite sex against his wife jealousy, although I don't think she should use violence as a way to express her anger, it will just backfire. They both really need counseling. For the fl's ex and his girlfriend why do I feel like the ex is still not over her since he's acting so moody whenever he hears her name.

I understand you, this drama only just started, so it's too early to really give a fair rating. I on the hand find this is a breath of fresh air and will keep watching, it's not every day when we see a drama that has such a different gender expectations, and having the ml and fl being xukai and yangmi is a plus. I just feel the roles are just made for them ^^

I find his character really interesting since he's more introverted it's harder to get into his head. Don't know why I'm more attracted to those silent characters, and his character is not boring. As of ep 5 I'm liking their chemistry it's still early in their relationship, and I'm already liking how this drama defy gender expectations.

I didn't see people complain about the many older males younger females trope. Also it depends on how big of the age gap, the age gap here is not that big, and I know in real life there're people with bigger age gap and it's not a big deal for them since what truly matter is they're happy in their relationship.
