Yang hua's dad is so supportive of his relationship with qin shi. They both are so much alike, he already figures out yang hua has a thing for qin shi because of how possessive he's towards her. I'm glad to see the rivalry between qin shi and li dai are more friendly and not backstabbing, they would make good friends. Also qin shi family are chaotic but fun. How troublesome, when both of their mothers are making it hard on them to get marry, while their dads are much more laid back about the marriage. In Asian culture, families are much value, so having mothers being such busybody is very common.

Have to say li dai and qin shi have an interesting working dynamic. They're both capable career women, just loving their banters. Yanghua and qin shi are starting to care for each other, she's seeing him everywhere ^^

It doesn't looks that way to me. The guy has a girlfriend but still thinking about his ex. If he cares so much about her, why didn't he try to confront her when she broke up with him to get back together with her. Blaming it on his mom, what for he's a grown man, he can't even handle his mother, how can he has a family of his own. This is feel like two timing in my opinion. His behaviors not fair to both women.

I always love characters who are ways different than the normal accepted norm, so i would say his character is not bland in the least, while the sml character I seen many times before so I would say xukai character is the more interesting between the two.

I'm not sure why the trailer made you had a different expectation for this drama then what you gotten. A trailer is made to attract the viewers attention and shouldn't be use to judge whether a drama is good or not. I never take a trailer as its face value since for me a trailer is too short to tell a story. Interestingly this drama exceeded my expectations, I knew it going to focus on the fl's career and I was wondering if ml will play a major part in this drama, or is he just going to be the romantic partner. You said you like falling into your smile, and I also like that drama as well, the leads didn't get together until the 20 eps, as a result I felt the relationship is not strong enough compare to she and her perfect husband where even it's slow pace you felt their connection , or maybe it's due to the fl in that drama that made me feel like she's not as in love with ml as ml is in love with her.

It's her opinion, you should understand making a comment about the characters in the drama is fine. It's not trashing yangmi, you should learn to differentiate between the characters and the actors.

Ancient love poetry now has a sequel that will be about shanggu and baijue's son that will be starting Zhao luci and Wang anyu. It's confirm now and not a rumor anymore for those who are interest in the sequel. I will check it out just for the plot, and hope for cameos from the casts in ancient love poetry ^^

I'm loving it and I don't skip over any parts, even the boring parts. Any drama will have some boring parts in between, the cases can be boring but I also find it interesting. Everyone preference will be different, I love the leads whenever we get to see a bit of their home lives, both of them are so cute together ^^

What genre do you like to watch. If you like historical you can start with story of yanxi palace. It's my first drama of his and made me into a loyal fan. Also would recommend ancient love poetry, it's a xanxia and it's so good. Arsenal military academy is a republican drama, I really like his acting there as well as court lady, once upon a time in lingjian mountain. Royal feast xukai played a prince who became an emperor. Falling into your smile is about eSport, youth and passion...All these are good dramas ^^

I saw one actor who has worked with him in so many of his projects like court lady, royal feast, loss in Kunlun mountain and in she and her perfect husband and in another future project, and I was wondering why they're starred in so many dramas together so your explanation makes sense. I think xukai doesn't mind helping getting roles for those from his company though.

I think young girls love the bad boy trope and both the leads are young so it's easy to see the popularity. But that is also the reason why it doesn't attracts mẹ like she and her perfect husband does, I'm too old for that type of romantic trope nowadays. Everyone has a reference, so don't need to compare, as long as you love it then you can rate as high as you like and shouldn't care about other opinions.
