Agree with you, most relationship usually starts with sexual attraction but it doesn't last long. A real relationship goes past that and into personal connection between two people, and that's how the relationship can last. It kind of comes down to your own efforts whether you want to maintain that relationship or not and usually it includes working out your problem by talking. No relationship is perfect, it comes down to how much you values the other person and is willing to workout your problem. There's a lady at the end of each episode and it looks to me like she was giving relationship advice, and what sticks to me is how she said a relationship without a bond is easily breaks or something similar.

Yes I'm glad li dai turned out to be totally different than how I thought she was in the beginning. I'm just disappointed they have to ruin this character since I kind of felt bad for her at first due to how her bf is still hung up on his ex and didn't think he deserves such a devoted girlfriend, but after hearing what she'll become because of her jealousy, I'm now thinking she and tjh deserves each other. Instead of thinking of her future with her fiance, she's thinking of getting revenge for her bf and didn't think if qin shi and him didn't break up they wouldn't be together, and I agree with you if she's blaming qin shi because she thinks she cheated on tjh, she should be more worry about whether that imaginary child of qin shi is tjh's son 😂

Wu fei is blaming qin shi for hurting her boyfriend even after they broke up two years ago. How unoriginal, what's she going to do by saying she wants to get revenge on her, don't understand how writer going to ruins this character by making her into a jealous bitch. What's wrong with writer always making the sfl into a bad girl, they has no problem with writing good sml why can't they do the same for sfl.

One of the most interesting ml in cdramas. He's just so unconventional. Love him, yang hua is such a sweetie, the way he's being protective towards qin shi is so cute. It's impossible to find yang hua in real life, he's such a good boyfriend material knows how to cook, do housework, accept qin shi for who she's without judging her on her family. I know he must be the writer imagination of what a perfect boyfriend should be like. Of course he's not perfect, he's awkward in social setting and he doesn't have a stable job like the average guy, but who wouldn't want such a guy to take care of you. It's ok if you like sml, he's just similar to the typical ml I see in dramas nowadays. But the one thing that made me loses any respect for him is how he couldn't stand up to his mother for the woman he loves. Is he that interesting I didn't think so.

I guess so, I also came across comments that said they didn't see any chemistry between them. So that depends on those who watches, and what they were looking for. For me, I didn't feel any romance between them only towards the end, so my feeling for them is of a teacher student relationship. For saph I love the chemistry and the awkwardness between them since I understood their characters, yang hua is socially awkward and he hated being set up on blind date by his mother, while qin shi has been avoiding relationship, creating a fake husband gave her the freedom to live her life as well as advance her career. These two characters complement each other, and they made up for what the others lack, I find their relationship relatable.

I felt it came about because of their characters, both of them love to play prank on each other, I thought their relationship was really over the top as disciple and teacher, the romance is underplay over the comedy and brotherhood. Still I really love both of their characters and how crazy both of them can be when they come together ^^

Yeah I also like xukai and Sandrine Pina chemistry in once upon a time in lingjian mountain. It was more like a disciple teacher relationship and not in a romantic sense since that drama is going for comedy and the focus is more on the brotherhood. For this drama I felt the romantic connection between the two and it just felt real to me so I really like their relationship so far ^^ Also recommend ancient love poetry it's a really good xanxia with a really cute romance between the main CP ^^

I felt the chemistry between the leads just fine. Their romance felt more realistic rather than manufacture so I'm not sure what you mean by real. These are two intelligent and mature individuals who has been trying to avoid romance due to some past experiences, and are coming together in a contract marriage. Both gradually falling for each other as they spend time together, we see them starting to become attract to each other, I felt their connection on both a personal level, not just sexually. This is what a romance should feel like. I'm loving these two together ^^

For ancient love poetry, the first 16 eps are just the prologue, ep 17 is where the main story starts. Xukai playing three characters and I find it very interesting, but it might not be for everyone. For his other dramas arsenal military academy, court lady, once upon a time in lingjian mountain, story of yanxi palace I really like his characters in those dramas as well...

I wouldn't know about that since I don't work in china, but I think it depends also whether the lawyers are working for private companies or working for the government since I would understand about dressing well to attract rich clients.

So qin shi reason for breaking up with tqh has to do with him lying to his mother about her family. It just shows she values her family and will not let anyone looks down on her or them. Yang hua said he didn't care that qin shi father was divorced twice made qin shi happy, she's touch by his sincerity. It appears qinshi also is falling for yang hua ^^ Finally they can get marry now that they have their family register.

I remember listening to yangmi interview, and she said the director picked all her dresses since they asked all their friends who are lawyers and they all dressed fancy, so maybe Chinese lawyers do dress fancy like that. For these two I felt they both complement each other they made up for the things the others lack, this is about two smart and mature individuals who falling in love with each other as they fake a marriage, and getting to understand what they lack as they live together.

I didn't think it was deceiving since everyone has a different interpretation of what a perfect partner for them. And since this is her perfect husband it just means he fulfill her requirements of a perfect partner. There is another meaning to the title, the 80/20 rule of love, in the trailer yang hua said to qin shi something like he would put in 80% for the both of them while she only needs to put in 20% or something like that. I thought that was really sweet, something every woman wants to hear lol ^^

She and her perfect husband is the title, I kind of figure it's going to be fl centric. I was afraid ml will have less of a role due to that reason. Most of xukai dramas are fl centric, and maybe that's why I love them since I love strong fl, but was hoping this one will be different and he will have a major role in it. Even so, after watching up to over 16 eps, I felt he even has less screen time than sml and the support roles that's my major pet peeves when it comes to his dramas. However I'm still enjoying the chemistry between the two and loving the law aspect of it. Their families are like many normal families having their own problems so it felt realistic in that aspect, so my major complaints is ml's screen time. Hope to see more of his backstory since I love ml the way he's and just love his way of thinking for himself. Also for this drama does fl deserves ml, I think she does. Any human deserves to be love, as long as you love the other person, you can looks past their flaws and accept them as they're.

From what i seen of her, she's not a bad character and has a similar thinking like the fl about fairness and wanting to do the right thing. The way both of them went to seek out Ms. Lan and even after their firm rejected her case made me see her in a new light. Both of them care about their career, but they also have integrity, not all lawyers are about money, this is what this drama is trying to say apparently. Really like that it showcases how single women have it tough when it comes to their career, and sometimes you have to break the rule to get ahead, but you didn't lose your integrity. I think it's one of the reasons ml is starting to fall for fl ^^
