It's adapted from a game with the same name is my understanding, kind of like final fantasy an RPG game that has many parts, but each of them are not related and have different characters...

Qin qhi was so close to become a senior partner, and now her secret is exposed and she is back to becomes just an assistant in her company. I can't understand that kind of motivation or that kind of loyalty to her company, she's thinking her position is just temporary, and she will be able to get back to her old job after madam tang stopped being angry over her lies. However is it worth it for her to go back to the very beginning, how is li dai quitting the company and still able to get a good paying job, and qin shi can't do the same, is it because of her age that she can't get into another company as good as her company. I'm still wondering how old is li dai, if she's in her 20s that's why it's easier for her to get hire compares to qin shi and that's why qin shi is trying so hard to hang on to her job.

Tjh and wu fei's dad conversation is kind of telling about the kind of relationship he had with wu fei, it also gives an insight into the lawyer world, that it's not just about capabilities but also networking, he's telling tjh that no matter how talented he's, he will not get anywhere without connection. He's really looking out for his daughter even knowing tjh is only with her to advance his career...In a way tjh and qin shi are kind of the same, qin shi used yang hua to advance her career, and he's doing the same to wu fei. This can be explained why he's with wu fei even though he still has feeling for qin shi. In a way yang hua has always been honest about his feeling for qin shi and he already knew of his feeling for qin shi even before they had their wedding. His agreement with qin shi mostly benefits qin shi since in a way he didn't really has a reason to have a fake marriage anymore. His mother stop pressuring him to get marry or go on date and even want him to go back to living with them. His reason for choosing to live with qin shi came from his own feeling for qin shi and also to not being a burden on his parents. He has grows a lot after meeting qin shi and living with her, his parents also accept their relationship due to his conviction of his love for qin shi. Yang hua even got a job and want to buy a house for qin shi, there's such an imbalance in their relationship, qin shi didn't really have to change anything about her life, while yang hua has done everything in order to have a real relationship with her. I'm worried that he'll get hurt since he's so pure.

I kind of understand why wu fei acted the way she did now. Tjh doesn't hide it anymore, wu fei truly loves him but he's not over qin shi and the way he treated qin shi has gone beyond caring for a coworker. He even went looking for her after finding out she could be in danger. The way yang hua and tjh handle things are different, yang hua went looking for qin shi's boss knowing her reason for coming with that Wang guy has to do with her job, he was really worried for qin shi, but he still trust that she could take care of herself. Tjh action made wu fei realizes her relationship is in jeopardy, as a result she asked him to quit Cheng and hui. Too little too late, should've thought of that when she got him the job there in the first place, she created a perfect opportunity for qin shi and tjh to comes into contact with each other. She didn't humiliate qin shi like she wished, she just made herself so pitiful begging for affection from a fiancee who didn't return the same affection she given him.

Yang hua is so pure, he really doesn't know much about relationship that he has to ask his father for love advice. The way their relationship is depicted, it's so much more than sexual, they kiss scenes are not passionate, however I'm getting that sweet feeling of being in love ^^

Don't understand why qin shi is keeping a secret from yang hua about that Wang guy bothering her. Even her ex knew and she finally told him about her marriage to yang hua was fake. Can't understand what tjh is doing, he said he loves wu fei, but he seems to be still hung up on his ex. Also yang hua shouldn't listen to his friend, it's better to listen to his dad, he's a better advisor on relationship lol. Wonder what's his relationship with yao yao, is he still has a thing for her or is he only cares about her as a childhood friend. Their breakup was caused by him choosing his career over her, so maybe he's just felt guilty. The way qin shi is leading that Wang guy just in order to get him to help invest in her company, I hope she knows what's she's doing, he knew her secret so he's blackmailing her, she should tell yang hua about it instead of keeping it from him though. I kind of understand his decision for not looking for qin shi since it appears tjh will be looking for her, and he didn't knows her location that's why he chose to go to yao yao since she was in immediate danger. I agree with tjh when he said career is not everything, she is being used by her company and she in turn is using yang hua, but her secret is going to be exposed soon. Also why qin shi didn't change her password after she changed office, it's too easy for wu fei to just get in her laptop and now she knew her secret...Bad decision on her part.

Actually she was very likable in the beginning. She was loyal to qin shi and didn't take side. She was hardworking,she said she didn't want to use her dad connection so she hide her real identity. She wasn't like some of the other coworkers who were two-faced. That all change after she found out about qin shi past relationship with her fiancee. Qin shi was jealous of her due to her family background not because of tjh since she was rejected by his mother due to her family background. Also there's a social standing in Cheng and hui, and qin shi realizes if wu fei used her family connection she could get to a higher position much more likely than someone who's hardworking.

I don't watch only drama I also read, but xukai is definitely the actor I watched the most ^^

I think the writer doesn't like wufei, she was so likable in the beginning, and now it's all gone due to her jealousy of qin shi she became a shrew. Also is her only reason to becomes a lawyer is to make money and to introduce rich clients to her fiancee? Before she used to say she didn't wants to use her father connection, but now it's like a complete 180. That case against that female employee kind of feel bad for her, her employer teamed up with an outsider to set her up, and it's starting to look like Cheng and hui is caring only about money like li dai said. Qin shi has such a fake smile, she really knows how to utilize her employees playing wu fei and qin shi against each other.

So we are introduced to yang hua's ex girlfriend, and she looks like a nice girl. Yang hua is too nice agreeing to testify for an employer who used him as a scape goat and caused him to not able to get back to the same profession. Although if I'm honest i like the current yang hua, so we learned more about his past so he used to be like qin shi who only cares about his career before as a result loss his girlfriend because of it, and he does not want to go back to that past self. I totally understand, he didn't want to become like his past employer who put his career over his family and children.

It's anything but mediocre, maybe not to your taste. I quite like it and find this drama has one of the healthiest relationship I ever seen between main leads, also the business side is kind of interesting, so I'm not bore by it. Only thing I would've like more is if they focus less on support roles and more on the main leads it would've been perfect ^^

Just wants to said in the ep when yang hua greeted a foreigner, his English was really good, also loves xukai voice in this drama, only I didn't here it in the ep. I was watching on YouTube, and in some of the episodes there were so many instances there's no sound. Wonder what happened to tencent, why they released the drama with such low quality.

That's a first I ever seen a weak fl. Wonder if her character will starts as weak and becomes stronger as her character develops.

There're many I like most of them are costume dramas ancient love poetry is a xanxia and my favorite of xukai ...Falling into your smile is a modern drama, arsenal military academy and loss in Kunlun mountain are republican era dramas, they're good but the ending could be better. All of them are good. If you like comedy there's once upon a time in lingjian mountain, dance of the sky empire is funny in the beginning.

They were intimate since they slept together on the same bed but I can't tell if they gone all the way. In cdramas it's hard to tell lol. I don't blame him for thinking of divorce since their marriage started out as a lie, and they drawn up a contract that declared their marriage will last only three years I think that's why yang hua brought up the three years for their divorce, also in the contract the condition is either party can't make demands on the other as a married cp. Also he saw how qin shi still cares for tjh, and that's why he suggests they get divorce in order for her to get back together with tjh. I think he also wants to test her to see if she still has feeling for tjh that's why he brought up divorce.

Wu fei is acting so needy, you shouldn't gives a guy so much control over you. Knowing tjh has feeling for qin shi, she still wants to marry him, how pathetic is that. Also the way she was behaving at the party, asking that guy questions about yang hua and laughing over yang hua and qin shi trouble made her looks so immature. What does it matter if tjh was wrong by qin shi and it's not even true, the one who was wrong was qin shi and she got over it. If tjh does not care about the past why is she still hung up on it and wanting to get revenge for him, she is so petty. No wonder tjh is not in love with her and still hung up on qin shi, she gives him too much power over her.

True, I think she likes to be the one in control since she has a much stronger personality compare to him. He's lazy and kind of pathetic, but she still wants him so they do deserve each other. This also happens in real life, we don't understand why but it makes sense for them so that's that lol.

I'm the same as you and watched up to ep 29. In these eps the focus has been on yang hua and I'm so glad to see his backstory. Yang hua has lost his confidence after his failure in his job, however i can't believe his boss could affected him not finding a similar job since he's base in Canada while yang hua is in china. I'm so glad for qin shi being so understanding and support him while he's at his weakest. I hope for him he will get his reputation back and be more confident in himself since that failure was what changed him and turned him into a recluse. The drama is getting more interesting as we delve into yang hua's past, so I will still be watching to the end to see what happens. In term of the relationship between yang hua and qin shi, I felt they have such a strong bond together, but like yang hua said it was a fake marriage and he expects them to get a divorce if not now then in the future. I hope if they do break up, it's to end the fake marriage, so they could be together in a real relationship and not a lie.

Can't wait to see xukai in a new drama ^^

The author was accused of plagiarize in another novel of her, the one with yang yang I assume, nothing to do with this one. But I heard seven tan's fans are having a problem with it, and made a demand for her to not do this drama as a result. I also heard her fans putting down xukai due to the billing, I think they're equally bill, but they think she should be first. Also what I don't understand what those fans are doing by hurting their idol like that, it's so immature and she's not a kid she knows what she is doing. This is not the only project that fans are fighting over billing though, there are other stars with fans causing problems for their idols. It doesn't reflect well on them. I hope they realize that and stop fighting over such trivial issue. As an international fans I think it doesn't looks good on the idols. I feel so bad for xukai, being constantly attack for no reason other than being the costar.

According to me I would consider it as sad ending, ml died in the cave and everything after that was just a dream he had.

Tjh is a momma boy, they both have a good relationship, he seems like the type to listen to his mom. What his mom said about wufei that she's better than qin shi is laughable, she looks like a kid next to him. Her good point has to be her family connection. We get a bit more of yang hua past in this ep. Yang hua has a good friend who's really caring about him, and he seems like a trustworthy guy. The actor who played him has been in so many dramas with xukai, they have a good chemistry ^^ Those people from Cheng and hui love to gossip, the guy who used to gossip with li dai, now that she left, he must be so lonely that he find qin shi to gossip lol. Yang hua and qin shi are becoming closer, they're becoming more like a couple, they've such a healthy relationship I'm so jealous :) compare to qin shi's brother and his wife they're the two opposites, that relationship is so toxic but for some reasons it works for them, I have no words these two have been talking about divorce so many times, but it turned out to be they both deserve each other lol.

It's open ending, if you want it to be a happy ending then it's. It's open to interpretation ^^
