Usually drama don't always follows novel, if she's in it I hope it not going to be a love triangle. That's the most overuse trope I seen in cdramas.

Agree with you there, the kissing scenes are just so cringy, it felt like he was forcing himself on her. Would've been better if they had left the kiss scenes out altogether. Also fl became an assistant to ml, she has no aspiration beside helping ml and his team reach their potential, she became like a side character while ml could go on to realize his dream. I liked it when I first watched it since it a feel good drama but as I watch more better dramas, the problems became more apparent to me.

Don't know what is wrong with wu fei to be so against the prenuptial agreement that she even cried about it. If tjh is willing to sign it then let him. He's a decent guy at least he knew what her father was after and being the understanding fiancee. That guy who was the client's boyfriend is a red flag, he clearly is only with the girl for her family connection. Women should protect themselves even if they're thinking they're in love, you never know what will happen in the future. I'm loving yang hua and qin shi relationship, how they both defend and support each other. Both of them are so capable in their professions, I love smart guy and yang hua could be call a genius even if he is kind of quiet and doesn't talk much ^^ Qin shi and yang hua really compatible, they both make up for the other weaknesses ^^

Don't let others opinion stop you from watching. I don't have high opinion of cdramas ending, but I will watch to the end to see if it's as bad as some claimed, there was someone who watched to the end and said it wasn't as bad as she was led to believe, so people have different opinions about the ending.

That's true, the trailer has lots of CP moments between the leads but romance is not the main focus of this drama. Xukai dramas are always less on romance and more on characters and plot, and that why I love watching his dramas and don't care how it end. He's the only actor I will watch anything on since I trust him to pick the right scripts.

I'm not doubting you, I just find it hard to believe that it was yu zheng water army how you called it. Xukai seems to get lots of attacks for something he has no control over like similar with royal feast when it was first announced the pairing was going to be bailu and then was changed to wu jinyan I blamed that on yu zheng, ancient love poetry and then falling into your smile from those eSport fans. I think it's because he's becoming more popular and threatened those idols that those fans followed and that's why they trying so hard to attack him, but it didn't matter anyway since he still get projects due to his hard work.

I think it's every director dream to have such an actor who is not afraid of hard work, as well as most of his projects those support characters especially sml get to shine since he didn't have anyone to fight to get him more screen times instead his screen times get deleted to give more screen times to sml and fl. This is my pet peeves when it comes to his dramas, i felt it was false advertising when you're watching for the ml and fl, but getting so much sml and fl interactions that wasn't plot related. That's the most annoying thing about watching a drama that has love triangle that wasn't plot related, and was only put in to make the dramas longer like the legend, dance of the sky empire, or court lady, etc...Some dramas done a better job of handling the love triangle and I find it tasteful rather than annoying, while others really stretching it, like the one in sahph, I can't for the life of me understand why there was so much flash back when it comes to the relationship between the sml and fl, I understand about some of the flashbacks, but other times it felt more like the sml was the main role while ml role was sml, similar to arsenal military academy in the beginning it almost felt like ml role was sml,and sml role was ml due to how much screen times the sml and fl got...

Is this true can't wait to finally see it but I'm not going to believe it until I see it confirm airing date. Tencent has delayed airing sahph for so long even after it's scheduled to air so fingers cross the same thing will not happen to this drama.

Different taste, not everyone will like the same drama it's alright. I like all three dramas he did in year, then again I love plot and characters so I'm mostly watching for the characters.

What about court lady and what makes them attacked him. Court lady took about two years to air, it was shot in 2019, and xukai role has so little screen time compare to sml and support roles. I was reading the novel and it was kind of the same, it's an fl centric drama with the focus on court politics. I really like xukai in that role towards the end since he really cut out to be a general being smart and strategic as well as a good fighter. I really like xukai in these types of role, so what did the water army have to complain about? Also it's hard to believe yu zheng would do something like that to hurt his own drama and artist.

Is anyone else watching this drama, Was checking the rating of this drama and it looks like not many are rating the episodes. As of the episodes I watched i find this is a nice family drama with many focus on family matters and relationship issues that I find relatable. It looks to me like these married couples don't really mean it when they talked about divorce like qin shi mother and her best friend, it just a scare tactic in order to get what they want from their husbands rather than actually wanting to get a divorce. Also it paint a negative picture about someone being a divorcee like qin shi dad being divorced two times as a result she wasn't approve by her ex's mother and he kept it from his family because of it.

Xukai has played many bad boy roles as well and has never cared about his idol image and that's one of the reasons I like about him ^^

The guy manhandled her after being apart for a long time. He has a fiance with the right family connection that his mom approves of compare to how he kept the fl family a secret from his mom until up to the time he introduced her to his mom after how many years they were dating. She ran away crying after being confronted by his mother disapproval, it just means the guy has no back bone and couldn't even handle his own mother for the woman he loves. What to pity about him, he has all the time in the world in those two years they broke up to find her and patch things up if he truly cares about her, but no he went and got a new girlfriend his mom approves. Also it's consider cheating if you dating one person while thinking about another person, and it's unfair to both women. Fl has her own life and her own romantic connection, and she's totally over sml, ml is a must better man than sml, he didn't let his mother interferes in his relationship and able to get her to approve of their marriage even though she was disapproving of his relationship with qin shi in the beginning.

She wants to change the way things are at her company, doesn't mean she could affect any change but for fl she's determine and career minded and think she can affect change at her company once she got promoted. I think she just being taken advantage of by her boss, but who knows it could happens since this is a drama and she's the fl so she might be able to change her company policy. I also thinks it's so ridiculous for someone to get promoted just like that just due to family connection.

I'm not an expert, but I would think it involves body language as well as eye contact, and I thought he did a good job showing that awkwardness as well as being withdrawn whenever he has a conversation and his mind would wander to somewhere else and not engaging the other person when he's in his own world. I would call his character an otaku, being interested in a particular subject, while neglecting things he doesn't deem important and like staying at home rather than being in social setting.
