I kind of feel sorry for wu fei, she's too pitiful, the writer is so mean to her she's almost kind of begging for tjh 's love at this point. I think the reason tjh is with her is because of her family influence to help his career. I don't believe him when he said he loves her. Qin shi and him are kind of similar, that's why I can say for sure qin shi will never chooses him. From how he acted when she was dealing with the guy who blackmail her, he automatically jump to conclusion and think she would use beauty to advance her career. He looks like a knight in shining armor when he was running after her, but it also shows his lack of trust that qin shi can handle things by herself. In contrast yang hua way of dealing with it is to trust qin shi. As a strong and confident woman Qin shi likes how yang hua handle things, but as a woman she still want to be comforted by the guy she likes that's why Qin shi only shows her weakness towards yang hua because she trusts him with her feeling, qin shi only shows her strong side when she's around tjh. That's the difference between liking someone and indifferent...I like the gentle yang hua and the way he's taking care of qin shi, so I quite like their romance.

Yeah I know what you mean 40 eps and there were so many secondary characters, if they focus on main leads it would've been even better. Although I would've like to see yang hua's parents, they just disappear altogether towards the end of the drama.

I think xukai is low-key, so he's not seeking to be a traffic actor. From reading a comment about seven tan, I felt they're both similar both wanting to focus on acting. I wonder if that's why they're going to work together in a future drama ^^

I think it's stupid to fight over who get first billing. Isn't it decided by the director/producer. Also being equally bill meaning they'll be focus on equally, lots of xukai dramas he seems to get less screen time compare to other characters. I hope for this drama ml and fl will have the focus on them and less on support characters.

He has so many dramas with xukai. I count 4 dramas if he's also in as beautiful as you with xukai too ^^

There were some that didn't like the ending of she and her perfect husband and think it was rushed. From watching other cdramas I find most of them have the same problem and that's rush ending. For she and her perfect husband I didn't find any problem with it other than i would like more screen time of the main couple. It's a good drama with a healthy and mature CP. This will be a different production, and has nothing to do with she and her perfect husband. However I know xukai and seven tan will work well together and can't wait for their collaboration just like xukai and yangmi was a good match.

There were some new characters since the god realm was closed and they're all living in the heavenly realm. It's worth it to continue, a lot of things will make sense eventually if you keep watching.

I seem to recall he told her he likes her and want to date her before starting to kiss her. I don't know how you could forget such an important part of the starting point of their relationship when he confessed to her. It was qin shi that been taking advantage of yang hua's love and not being clear on her feeling. Yang hua was asked by li dai to help his ex-girlfriend that's why he is helping his ex. Qin shi spend so much time with her ex all the time, I don't see the problem there. She has always taken advantage of his good will. In a way what they had was a fake marriage, so anyone of them could end the marriage qin shi willing to stay in such a relationship, yang hua didn't. He wants a stronger and deeper relationship but qin shi just wasn't ready to give him that. Also she should've quit her job much earlier seeing how little they value her, it took her that long for her to quit is just her own stubbornness. Yang hua did help her behind the scene however after she quit her old job.

There must be some cut scenes, although I was thinking it was really sweet of her brothers to go search for her in the rain. I wonder if it was yang hua that called them. I assumed the video evidence was turned over to qin shi and her team, and that's how they were able to win the case against that hotel employee who sexually harass his female employees.

Yes I hope so too, dramas of his tend to focus on support characters, so hopefully those three dramas will be ml centric similar to once upon a time in lingian mountain I really like that drama, even though it has support characters, the focus was always on him. I also like to see him play a similar type of character like the one in ouatilm ^^
