Is all this confirm to be true, in this drama he is first billing i think so they can't just make him a background for the fl only otherwise people could just read the novel, what is the point of watching the drama anymore? In best choice ever the ml was second billing so it makes sense for the fl to have more screentimes, but in this drama it's the opposite. I don't care about the billing issue, i just want both leads to have equal screentimes, if they give him less screentimes it will tank the drama like best choice ever base on the reception by international fans. I don't think the director would hurt his own drama and image just for yuzheng. And how do you know about this supposed secret dealing between this director and yuzheng anyway or is it just another negative rumor design to hurt xukai future project?
The black snake in ep 10 i think he also was in another drama with xukai. I couldn't place him in what drama before but i remember now it was sword and fairy 6, he was in their group of 6 ^^
I really like the scene with mzy and wz when they were writing their wishes on their lantern and both has the same wish only a bit different is wz wishes for the demon underworld and mzy wishes for the human world while both are hiding their dual identity. Also in this ep we can see mzy feeling for wz when he defended her from a girl who has a crush on him. He made his feeling known by jumping to her defend and silence the girl when she was bad mouthing wz, and wz show her feeling for him when she interfere when that girl threatened him with her father after she gotten humiliated by his rejection. I'm really liking how protective the both of them are to each other, they are a perfect match in my opinion ^^ In this ep we see meisi following snake lord so he might find out her secret soon. This cp so far has been use as a comedic relief, how is their relationship become if he find out her secret, will it change anything between them. I don't want to be spoil i'm just think out loud. The third cp i'm also wondering if they stay friends or will they relationship progress being he's a demon hunter like mzy and she's a fox demon?
From watching to 10 eps so far i'm starting to notice a pattern all the demons that were introduced so far are either animals, plant/flower or objects who turn into humans to hide themselves in the human world. I don't think we been introduce to a demon human yet, can anyone who watch future eps tell me if there will be a human demon? I'm liking that this drama don't focus on human demons like those other dramas this could explain why it's supernatural and not xianxia that deal with immortals and gods.

I think in today ep, mzy after jumping down from the high wall and hurt his knee was deliberate. He was seen by wz and lots of people jumping from such a high place so he decides to hide his ability because he doesn't want everyone to know he's from chengzi palace since he's still investigating the case that happened 18 years ago that could involve demons. He already found out there's a demon underworld in chang'an so he's laying low to not expose his identity and being question.
In the ep i'm watching a new demon appear and from watching him and snake lord fighting it occurs to me snake lord is a very powerful demon who has live for decades, century even and her appearance now is a disguise because she has been living as someone else before in the human world. It makes me wonder how she was able to live so long in the human world and not being discover, does her family knows. I know cat lord is half demon and her identity is a secret to her family, in today ep she gotten hurt by fighting the new demon and was rescued by mzy so in term of their power it makes perfect sense for snake lord to be more powerful being fully demon. Wz is not being accepted by some demons because she's a half demon and only has her power as a demon at night.
The ritual they did at the beginning of ep 10, using lightning and the piece of wood wz got in the early ep, does anyone know what it was for. My understanding is it was to destroy the bone relic or to suppressed the evil inside it so did they succeed because i think a fragment got inside wz's assistant so is that why he turn evil because all those other demons were affected by the bone relic and turn evil after coming into contact with it.
