And even if in later eps he will have lesser screentimes i will still be watching, xukai will make the most of his screentimes as always in the case in dramas when he has lesser screentimes. Also you don't sound like a fan by going around making prediction for a drama that hasn't air yet or has a preview or release any new trailers or materials.

I don't think so in as beautiful as you xukai is not a supporting character to fl. On mlr he also has his own story arc i'm just as interest in finding out his ability as a demon hunter and his skill as an investigator since he has been task with investigating all the past cases that has not been solve in chang'an because they were suspected to be related to demons compare to wz's story arc as the cat lord who is task with maintaing order in the demon world. Both of them have their own duties and special abilities that are still not reveal fully.

Have you seen the finish product? It was just shot and we still have no preview or any infos on it being it's so secretive that they didn't even have a booting ceremony or even release any materials for the drama after it finished shooting.

What is the deal with that incense contest, it took two eps to finish, but we're rewarded with seeing mzy in action rescuing wz and now he exposed himself as someone who is much more powerful than he let on. That childhood friend of her is starting to be suspicious of him. Who was the guy in black who rescued him, what kind of power does he has? What is this dark cultivation? And what happens with one of the guy eye, it does not look normal.

The black snake and meisi gotten along so well that he can be mistaken as the snake owner, and it's funny how he call him grandpa propably due to him being 1,000 years old ^^

How interesting to see the duke wz's father is so nonchalant about seeing two men living under his roof, does he not worry about her reputation. Her family are very unconventional for that time period, but i suppose being the sister of the empress and the sister in law of the emperor who would dare to challenge her that is why she's not afraid for her reputation like most girls since she's still single and refuse to get marry even though she is being introduced to so many men. How many childhood friends does wz have, i thought she only has one and now there're two and in both cases it was because she saved them from being bully as kids. So it's not just mzy wz saved, she just naturally hate bullies and appoint herself as a protector of the weaks, just like when she saved that girl in the fire who badmouthed her to mzy. This is why i love wz's personality, she doesn't care about gossip or propriety and just does what she likes, she remind me of xukai's character in arsenal military academy but a female version, she is similar to qu manting the sfl in that drama ^^

So all those stories that belong to wz that mzy read came from the new guy, that exchange between wz and him made it clear who she prefer, the new guy was telling her that women ultimate goal was to get married and become a wife and mother, but wz refuted him and said she didn't like those stories anymore. Why did she stop liking those stories, isn't it because mzy question her about those stories and is the one who understood her personality even more than the childhood friend?

This drama has been outstanding, so i refuse to believe the ending makes it a waste of time. Is the ending even worse than the ending for the legend, lost in kunlun mountain? Those dramas endings were really bad but it still worth the time i invest in it because of xukai acting.

You haven't explain anything with reason, but love can make someone to turn into a fool but it also makes that person becomes fully human with strengths and weaknesses. There was a scene with ml and fl when he asked her why in all the stories he read there's always a happy ending and it always end with the girl getting married and accepting her lot in life. What about after, is that all of her life? In that question he's putting himself in her shoe because in the old day getting married and become a wife is all it's expected for women. Kind of funny that men expect women to be the only one to be weak and emotional when falling in love but can't do the same when it's the other way around 😅

Ok if you said so because i don't get this fascination with wanting cgi to be realistic but refuse to accept that it's all fake in the first place since it all come from fantasy and in director and writer imagination and whether viewers accept or not this is their vision of what they want it to look like. Whatever the case drama can't please everyone but for me i love it ^^
