I'm so happy they finally admit their feeling for each other in ep 21. Mzy is so ruthless in his revenge to that captain of the guard for introducing men to wz 😂 Finally in this ep the both of them express their desire to get marry to the emperor and empress.

That assistant is a book demon, finally he confessed his feeling for wz, but she has only been seeing him as a best friend. Wz is very open about her feeling for mzy, i like how she explain her feeling he's the only one who doesn't judge her and see her for herself, she must be under lots of pressure being she's a half demon half human and she is judge in both realms for both her identities as demon and human, so she like mzy because he accepts her and doesn't want to change her. She loves being with him because she feel at peace when she's around him. Now that they're together i'm nervous on when they will find out each other identity.

That conversation between snake lord and cat lord give a foreboding feeling, she already experienced a betrayal from her lover so she warned wz to be prepare if things don't work out, wz response might caused some people to misunderstand that she doesn't care about mzy life doesn't revolve around a husband that is just like wz herself, it's why she didn't want to get marry until she met mzy who understood her need and accept her for who she is. Also she think she will live longer than mzy that why she said she doesn't care about the future whether they will tire of each other since a demon life span is much longer than a human. She expect all her love ones her family and her husband to die before her, but she want to live in the now rather than worry about the future as she told the book demon when she admit she has feeling for mzy.

Agree, i love all the outfits of the fl, all the females actually but especially the fl. I also really like all the different makeup on the females faces, i wonder if it's the style of that time. The guys style is more simplistic but they all look very nice and can be tell apart from each other.

Meisi seem to be friends with lots of interesting individual without even realizing it, most of his acquaintances are either demons or in the case of mzy a demon hunter, now he's the only human who knew about demons and the identity of cat lord and snake lord. Funny how he's calling the black snake grandpa but he looks even younger than him in human form and now he found out the girl he love is sister to his grandpa 😂

Ep 20 we get a bit of a confession between mzy and wz, and mzy finally let slip his feeling for wz when he willingly risk his life to save her from the array. So by destroying the array the person will also be turn to stone so how did mzy able to escape? What has help protect him from being turn to stone? That childhood friend of wz kept insisting he loves her but he left her in the array endangering her life, he was making excuses for himself that mzy wouldn't sacrifice his life to save her only thing is mzy did risk his life to save her; he exposed how shallow his love is. Wz is unmoved by his confession, she probably has listen to similar confession in the past by other men like him who like novelty and her power and rank rather than herself as a person.

Mzy confession feel more sincere and come from the heart that why wz is so moved by him compare to other men. In this ep we also found out the new guy master is also in chengxi palace like mzy. Does he know wz is a half demon is that why he think their relationship will not turn out well?

And agree both snake lord and meisi are meant for comedic relief, they're likable and stress free unlike the main cp who are still keeping secret from each other. I like both cps for different reason ^^

Love xukai in action scenes, hope to see him in a wuxia in a future drama. Txw is also very good in action scenes, is txw has a body double or is she like xukai doing those action scenes by herself?

I saw your comments and i agree with you, i'm just showing the similarity i found between the two fls, even if her fake brother did something evil she understood it was for their army. I have not seen all the eps of moonlit reunion so will have to see it for myself, but i think it's about the same, the fl might've condemn his action but can't just turn off her emotion in such
a short time to not regret losing a best friend.

You must've skip the whole drama to arrive at such a conclusion. I understood it as it was show in the drama when she talked to her female assistant and her male assistant. She only pretend to show her interest in him in the beginning while doing her duty as cat lord to investigating all the weird demons sighting. She needs a reason to get close to him to find out if he has the bone relic and then once she found out he has it went and stole it. Everything she does has a reason. Once she found out the queen was interest in him, she stage a breakup just so everyone think she is over him. All those things were in the drama. He in turn even though show no interest once she stop coming to see him told his servant to fix the road show he listen to her and pay attention to what she said, showing he does care about her. Their relationship finally changed when they traveled together to investigate the unusual mist in the western mountain that was their first kiss and she was trying to cure him of poison. If you roll back i commented all the eps i'm watching. All those things were in the drama. He can't be with her because he's a chengxi palace disciple and can't fall in love that why his sect brother trying to interfere in their relationship. He's a taoist monk who is cultivating to become an immortal by rejecting all worldly desires until he met wz. You have to watch the drama slowly to appreciate all the nuance and their character dynamics. If you're watching the drama just to pass the time then that explains why you didn't pickup these small inner conflicts between the main characters. It's interesting because they both have dual identities making the both them opposing the other while also sharing the same duties to keep peace between the human and demon realms.

Her love for him is much more than liking him for his good look, that was only a facade she showed to the outside world. What she like is his simplicity and him not bowing down to power or rank. As the daughter of a duke and sister to the empress, she has both power and rank so she must be familiar with all the attention and men vying for her hand in marriage, but here is someone who is totally different from other men, he cares about her reputation and does not try to please her like other men who only want to marry her because of her rank. He also was able to see her for who she is rather than the facade she showed to the outside world to do her duties as cat lord. He understood her where other men don't that she is not an ordinary girl and she wants more in a marriage than just a husband but also companionship and someone who accept her as herself as a soulmate, that why he hesitated because he's afraid he can't give her what she wanted in a husband.

I think you're missing all the nuance in their relationship. She's not dumb, love does make someone to turn into a fool for ex meisi no matter how many times he was rejected he still come back for more rejection. And you're comparing snake lord who is like an extra in this drama she got lots of screentimes but most of it was for comedic relief. The one who solve most of the cases is fl, they're both lords but snake lord is more laid back and does not get involve in most of the decisions that happen in the demon underworld but you're saying she is more like the fl, an fl who is missing in action? Again are we watching the same drama? You're right that is your own opinion.

Fl in wol knew he was responsible for the deaths of ml men who gotten betrayed by him, that was also the reason why ml was standing on the sideline and refuse to help when they were attacked and it was the reason for her to being mad at him after she thought her fake brother died and blame him for it. Many who watched wol were hating on fl for being mad at ml even though he has a reason for not wanting to help the fake brother.
