What do you mean most female characters in this drama are dumb are we talking about a different drama lmao. From watching to 19 eps the main characters have lots of depth so i would disagree, the side characters are less important but they also serve a purpose so not understanding what you mean can you explain by not having depth?

A few eps ago snake lord was attacked by the guy in black, is he the one the new guy call his master? What was his purpose in making the new guy release all those ink demons?

Meisi is a love fool after finding out snake lord identity and being rejected by her many times he still refuse to give up on her. Him trying to rescue someone he thought was a demon being abused by humans show just how different his thinking compare to other humans who fear demons and think they're all bad. I'm happy for snake lord she finally found a human to be friend who won't betray her like her human lover in the past.

Loving the action in ep 19. So wz was spending so much time with the new guy because she also suspected him and knew something was wrong with him like mzy did. She made an appointment with him to set a trap for him and even asked her assistant to deal with him that why he appeared after wz ran away when she realizes myz was in danger. The new guy was also setting a trap for mzy by using wz as a bait to make mzy to come looking for her and attack him. In the end it was wz who came to mzy rescue evèn though he came after her because he was afraid she was in danger ^^ Wonder what is the significant of being on a lake? I don't think it was random that wz pick the lake, could it be he has a weakness for water?

Both mzy and wz were investigating the ink demons so wz must've realizes the new guy is not what he seem, they both found out that it was dark magic, that why her conversation with him got weird when she started to tell him about a story of a human who used dark magic on himself and became a full demon.

So that why drama originally was only 36 eps, it was change to 39 and xukai fans were protesting because they afraid the drama will add more screentimes for side characters, it finally ended at 38 eps after ones of the casts was removed for scandal.

Yeah i use to watch on viki it was cheaper than disney+, but viki doesn't have in my region :/

What is going on with wz's assistant, what is his connection to the bone relic and the infant demon from 18 years ago. How come he doesn't look any different 18 years later, that must mean he is much older than wz. Here is another guy who is just as obsessive, can't blame them she has rank and power and she's also very beautiful. Too bad for them she's in love with mzy and is oblivious about the assistant's feeling for her.

The empress is bias toward mzy i think even after the duke said the new guy is more acceptable as wz's husband because he wants to marry wz and will not take a concubine, while mzy doesn't plan to get marry. She still want to test wz's feeling because she think she still has feeling for him. Wz didn't fall for their trick and manage to fool her father into thinking she pick the new guy, but i'm wondering if she also want to test mzy feeling for her. Wz heart has soften after seeing her niece fell in love with the camelia demon, and being happy having the camelia demon by her side, who willing to turn into an object of affection before he died prove he also in love with wz's niece. Wz also want the same thing companionship someone who can stay by her side.

Now that mzy found out about the new guy, i'm afraid he will do something to hurt mzy. I wonder if wz knew about him, when she took him back to his room and look back at him her eyes were cold did she suspect him that he was responsible for the ink demons?

I really like the exchange between wz and the empress, she might be strict but she shows she does care for her sister even though she pushes her to marry she didn't try to use her power as the empress to force her hand. This ep also show more insight into wz inner feeling, she doesn't want to get marry unless she find the right guy for her someone who understood and accepts her for herself. I think in chinese dramas they have a name for someone you consider as your destined person that person is call a soulmate, i think wz is looking for such a person in her husband. She was kind of heartbroken when mzy refused her, that why she answer in the negative when she was asked by the empress.

I also like how in this drama there's no palace politic, the empress and concubine both act like sisters to each others and actually get along so well ^^

I still need to catch up and check it myself to see how bad the ending was from listening to the people who already finished the drama. I also really like the ending for wonderland of love. I think for the fl in wonderland of love she already mourned her fake brother once when she thought he died the first time so once he betrayed her and her father she drove him out of her life and has nothing to do with him anymore so she was indifferent when she found out he died. For this drama fl, i have not finished the drama so can't say much but i think the relationship she has with him is like childhood best friend, and i don't think it would matter what gender he or she is, she would've cry for him or her regardless because a best friend is someone whom you trust completely with all your secret and to lose such a person who has been with her and support her from childhood when she was still a newly demon i can understand her emotional state even if she said she hated him she can't just forget all the good times they shared.

The ink demons concept was kind of cool. That shop keeper was suspicious when he sold that ink to meisi. I knew something was fishy about that ink. Was wondering who was the culprit behind the ink demons and i was right it was the new guy. His introduction and his obsessive behavior toward wz was kind of creepy; he dressed up like mzy to fool wz into mistaking him as mzy and she almost gotten fooled by him. Why didn't the snake warn meisi when he found out something wrong with the ink, he doesn't looks like he wants to harm meisi but he let him draw all those demons using that ink and they came out into the real world. He doesn't care about the demon underworld being discover by humans.

Kind of feel bad about the camellia demon, he just wants to bloom flowers for wz niece but he died saving her from one of the ink demons. Wz doesn't have power during day time so she could not deal with the ink demon by herself so she could only watch the camelia demon sacrifice his life to protect her niece.

In ep 17, mzy show more of his ability as a demon hunter, gathering all the ink demons in one place by using paper spells and the sword that he used must be a special weapon to fight demon; he was able to kill all the ink demons effortlessly and in such a short time, even wz has a hard time fighting one ink demon when she was in her demon form. This must be what it means to be call a taoist prodigy ^^

I heard the drama is S+ and it will be iqiyi but still no confirmation about platform?

As long as they don't have lots of screentime for sml i'll be happy. This drama is fl centric in novel but drama will be different i think since he is first bill here anyway let hope they will have equal screentimes for drama sake because drama does well when that happens ^^
