If you want to know then watch it for yourself to see if it worth your time. There're some dramas i do think dragged when it started to focus on support roles that don't add anything to the drama. For this drama i find all the support characters all have their own storyline beside the main leads and they have ties to the main leads so they don't overstay their welcome so 40 eps are not draggy, plus i always prefer longer drama over shorter drama.

There's more to being strong than just having the strongest power. Even when she is at her weakest, she still showcase her strength, not letting anyone put her down and always champion for justice and the weaks. When she is at her strongest she's a badass. For the first arc, it might be boring for some, but i appreciate the drama team for including it to introduce most of the main characters and the peace they were having before things became a mess in the second half. Baijue character was someone who tasked with guarding the god realm and being the last defense of the god realm, so his character has always been consistent and unwavering in his duty as a true god even in the face of love, he is willing to give up his life to save the god realm and the people he love. I love this character a lot, the differences between him and qingmu are play so well by xukai, both of them have different priorities in life, qingmu devotion to houchi because he has no duty as a true god, baijue has to carry out his duty as a true god so he's not free to love like qingmu. However his sacrifice and love for shanggu is so transparent, him spending so much times to look for her soul in order for her to finally reborn knowing they can't have a life together because he will take her place is everything ❤️

I'm glad he find time in his busy schedule to have fun and relax. I heard in a variety show on random tour he was taught from an early age to push himself to the limit, and he has never praise himself even if he has done well in something to keeps pushing for more. He might finally see it's time for a change and to slow down and give himself time to relax and to praise himself for a job well done. He has also went bungee jumping even though he was scared so i'm happy for xukai that he has becomes more brave and willing to face his fear ^^

I heard a rumor he will work again with yangzi or liushishi. I hope to see him pair with actresses who are the same age or younger than him too, not putting down any of the actresses he has work before because they were all talented, but paìring him with older actresses will always bring out tĥose haters who like to mock tĥem for their age difference. It's really sad for actresses who are older compare to older male actors pairing with younger actresses, there's no double standard when they're looking older than the actress because they're older than them, but an older actress who looks older than a younger actor will be mock for looking older. Seven tan has a youthful face so the pairing of xukai and seven tan match very well because they don't show any age difference. She and xukai were unexpectedly well match, i was always looking forward to this pairing since hearing they were going to be pair together. Hopefully there will be a chance for a future cooperation ^^

Thanks for sharing the bts. I was wondering about that scene, it looks so realistic. I was thinking about his back as he got injured during the shooting of court lady if it heal properly or does it still pain him. I know he stopped playing basketball for a while to protect his back and he started wearing a pad when shooting historical drama. I saw him touching his head also, i was thinking if he hurt his head during the filming.

Many has the same thought like you, but after watching it 40 eps are gone in an instant and we want to stay longer with this cp. I hope to see both xukai and seven tan in another future drama ^^

Ÿes this year he has best choice ever and abay, both got high praise and best choice ever even reach 30,000 heat on tencent that not many dramas were able to match. Abay are not broadcast in many countries on tencent and çan only watch in some region, i think that's the reason why heat index is not as high, however it was able to be no 1 in tv broadcast while it was airing. Sword and fairy got many controversy due to the hate on ester yu and her voice. However the drama was love by fan of sword and fairy 6 and the creator of the game by staying true to source material. Xukai played two different characters and able to show his versatility ^^

Yes the chances for injury is higher, however i think xukai also enjoy taking these roles, so i hope in the future if he take more roles like these there will safety precaution to protect him from getting injured. I also like to see him try many more challenging roles whether they're in modern or xanxia or wuxia ^^

The average drama that you complained is beloved by the audience and has been no 1 on the weekly ranking in china and internationally as well as breaking 2 billion views in china alone, not bad for an average drama. The rating is also better than falling into your smile. No worry for xukai he just took a break and just got back to filming. He will keeps getting more better projects like abay.

That person is not a fan of xukai or a fan of falling into your smile. Those who are truly his fans wouldn't put him down like that or trash his dramas, they're threatened by abay popularity and how popular xukai character hanting became. This character has so much love by the audience and any fans of xukai would be proud of his work, xukai also being acknowledge for his acting because of this character. He will keep getting better and better as an actor and will keep getting better works in the future.

Probably didn't even watch the drama and trying to get a rise out of you, seem there still those haters who don't want to quit this drama even they said it's mediocre they were still able to finish it. This drama popularity is so great that they felt threatened by it lol 😆

Your loss, i would consider the last few eps were the best of the drama. Jx got to show herself being a badass boss while ht was off recuperating. Their relationship and bond were unbreakable and they became true soulmates❤️

Your comment does not makes much sense and you contradict yourself. Xukai is an actor who is willing to take on roles that are not always popular and willing to challenge himself in those roles so conservative is not something i would describes him even if he's still a young actor he didn't lose to those veteran actors. Seven tan i don't watch many of her dramas but i can see she's also a very talented actress who can play many roles due to her youthfulness. Their chemistry can be say to be the reason to watch this drama and those who say otherwise are lying to themselves.

Late this year or next year probably since it's a historical so more likely next year as it has to pass much strictor censorship compare to modern drama.
