Sure if it was strictly business than i think what he did wasn't wrong. I watched eps 32-34 and haven't seen ml grovel and beg yet. In my opinion both of them were at fault, him for keeping hanhai a secret after they got together, he should've know his competitor would use it against him to drive a wedge between the both of them. Her insecurity got the better of her when she went to his competitor thinking she did it for the good of her company. She negotiates for her employees to remain after the merger, and left because it was out of her hand as she didn't want the merger. I don't know why do people want to have perfect ml and fl who don't make any mistakes, both ht and jx are not perfect and through their break up they were able to growth from it.

I don't see that as something negative because you can say the both of them influence each other, hanting went from cold logic to being emotìonal while jixing went from being emotional to cold logic as a way to show how their love change each other perspectives in a positive way, and both of them became more mature as they learn from their own mistakes while they're apart.

Glad to see hanting has reliable friends who were there for him through his break up with jixing. I think they don't want to anger those audiences who want to see females being strong and not show weakness, but showing a guy weakness on the other hand is acceptable after all most of the audiences are females.

I'm not much on fashion, but i thought he looks good in those wardrobes especially with the long jackets and sweaters, due to his height he looks good in whatever he wears though.

I always see xukai as good looking, starting from story of yanxi palace, he even looks good with a bald head. This is the first time though when i feel he's sexy, i think this drama really gives him that aura of sexiness must be from seeing him being dangerous, xukai has always play the nice guy. I hope to see more of these types of characters for him ^^

I made a mistake because i don't watch the eps all at the same time, so i confused her birthday with new year eve. This happens when you don't marathon the drama and watch it at a lower pace than others 😅

From my understanding of that person's comment, they were in fact saying they can't imagine why ml would fall for fl as fl is not flattering with her physics and dressing style. With such a comment it's no wonder someone who is a seven tan fan will feel it's an insult to her personally. Ml could be with anyone, as he's rich and handsome, he could've the most beautiful women throw themselves at him, he has someone who was a childhood friend who was totally devoted to him, so why is he so indifferent to her, the answer is simple, something that comes easy will not be as value as something that takes time and effort. The fl was the one that got away, the one the ml got a crush on but was rejected. It was all a misunderstanding but it made him never forgotten her because his pride got hurt. Then he met her again, and she was the same as how he remember her, he admired her work ethic and also her strong will in believing in her own dream and going for it even with so many hardships along the way. His investment in her company was because he believes in her vision and drive. So basically the ml likes the fl because of brain over beauty.
