Question for novel readers, how is TBW as a drama adaptation so far? Does the plot follow the book's plot closely?…
Closely, but with few changes & additions here & there. Main events are kept true to the book. I would say its a satisfying adaptation.

Yes, I love their scenes together. Very cute and loyal friendship. You can sense their bond even without subs.…
Yeah, I also feel the same! Besides Dilraba & Hu Yi Xuan portrayed it really so well to create this warmth, glad they became good friends in real life too (seeing the bts).

One of the best things about the drama adaptation is Ji Yun He & Luo Luo's friendship & dynamic. So endearing & precious to watch. Its always great to see sisterhood & pure & unconditional friendship & bond shown between girls contrary to usually portrayed negative shits.

Finally had the chance to catch up and watch all 9 episodes without subs. And even though I couldn't understand…
Your writeup just gave me the inspiration to do one myself & so I did. Everything, I agree & feel so purely the same :')

And no one is entitled to blatantly pass a verdict on how it will do or how its hype will be in such a biased manner.

Anyone that finished the novel could tell me how powerfull is Yunhe?
Defining "How" is tough. But she's one of the most powerful demon masters of the Demon Valley, equipped with power as well as intelligence, wit & tactics. Her Nine tailed fox demon version is also one of the most powerful of the kinds of demons.

Having watched raws up to 10, I just came here to say:
The Blue Whisper novel with its amazing characters, setting & character dynamics coming alive in my screen hits differently. I remembered how much I loved the novel, the pain it choked me with, introduced me to one of my most favorite female characters of all time, Ji Yun He. And introduced me to the most precious Big Tailed Fish, Chang Yi. And Ji Yun He is brought to life by Dilraba, yet again injecting the realization that only she could make this character so much more awesome. Every subtle & micro expressions of her, every fragility, helplessness, loneliness, fear, & on the other side of the coin, every portrayal of her power, wit, intelligence, manipulation & strength gives this character such charisma, I can never imagine anyone else in this role who can make me fall deeper with each appearance & expression. A genuine salute to her.

Now, only Allen can be such a cutest & purest Big Tailed Fish Chang Yi. Contrary to novel's serious jiaoren who cared so much about modesty & etiquette between a man & a woman, we have this hella cute & unreserved Chang Yi, whose portrayal by Allen made me forget how much I yearned for the serious Jiaoren on screen, adding a new, yet essentially with the same core of Chang Yi. I can't adore him enough.

The chemistry of Ji Yun He & Chang Yi, I must emphasize over & over again, is of the purest, softest, tenderest & the most precious kind with a reversal of stereotypical gender roles always shown in dramas. Ji Yun He is playing the charismatic character with story line & development, usually given to male leads & Chang Yi, the cute, pure & honest male lead. Its such a refreshing & wholesome setting, makes it all the more endearing. This chemistry set ablaze by Dilraba & Allen is just everything. Occupying my mind 24/7.

I can't wait to watch it again with subs, understand it all wholly & go through this wholesome & tragic masterpiece again. I'm counting on Croton to provide some HIGH QUALITY SUBS to give justice to this one & the wait its putting us through!

Tbh I kind of wish they'd skipped them - they look super fake and lacking in passion . He is really good at conveying…
After watching 10 raw eps without any subtitles, I actually disagree with your take on the chemistry between the leads, its really a unique one. Soft, pure, tender & heart fluttering. Really precious. I don't know what distance you're talking about, but I don't feel any such thing. In fact, I'm obsessed with their chemistry lmao

In the novel, Chang Yi is very reserved and modest. Even after he mated with Yunhe as per his culture, he still…
I'm dead at that scene pffthahahahahahaha

Yeah, I feel the same to be honest. As much I understand the restlessness & anticipation of fans, I'm just the same, irrational negative judgement/ rating just based on the fact that subs are taking time to come out is utterly ridiculous. I also want to have the best experience with TBW with the best quality subs & resolutions. Also they might actually have a plan of big release overseas, who knows.

Title The Blue Whisper: Part 1 Spoiler
I think there are more side couple relationships coming up.
I understand completely because I wasn't so keen on that change either & felt it was not at all necessary, then I thought from the pov of the changes made. I noticed one thing, she only resorted to that lie, in the first place, on spur of the moment when Xue San Yue was about to attack Chang Yi & was going to kill him to protect her own secret with Li Shu ( as much as I understood ). As for what love truly is, Ji Yun He, herself, at that point, was yet to discover/know, she wouldn't think its that of a big deal. I also have another guess, they wanna use this initial lie of her as more of an impactful consolidation of her later lie for ChangYi to believe/ feel betrayed. Pain Index just increases that way :'|

She's actually sincere to Chang Yi in the drama as well, no insincerity/deception there, she's just hiding a lot of things, which also is to protect him & herself & coming up with plans for their freedom. The drama changed one thing, Yun He & Xue San Yue became allies prior to Chang Yi's arrival in the novel but drama has brought that event during ChangYi's time & wanted to amplify the dramatic sequences I guess.
