Tbh, this type of show’s pacing needs to be so tight to help build and carry the tension. So far the pacing is just a little bit too slow, and the shots a little too long. That’s what’s highlighting the weaker acting. I dont think the actors are doing too bad, but the direction and editing certainly aren’t helping anybody.
Either way, I’m a Jumanji/Alice/Squid Games fan so I dig the premise and am stoked for something new from gmmtv. I’ll be seated every week to see how it plays out and to support Gem.
I’m so freaking happy Tammy is actually an understanding and supportive sweetheart instead of the Evil Vindictive Female trope. It really makes me love this series even more.

Comedic actors usually end up being great dramatic actors cuz they have a great sense of timing and are usually pretty observant of people’s behavior. I have high hopes for him!
