Omg I liked the Untamed and gave this a try because of Zhou Ye. I skipped/fast forward all the boring stuff and I my watched her scenes. Experience filled the gap, I just hate how tragic her end was. Ah I am so frustrated 😭
No, you don't have to watch them. These are just backstory episodes to help understand the elders the male lead will learn from. I really enjoyed them; the female lead's performance is superb. I felt more emotionally invested because I knew the struggles of the martial arts leaders. They used flashbacks for the important details, if I recall correctly.
A good drama with a happy ending, where everyone is alive and well, even if the leads don't end up together romantically. I wish we could have seen a flash-forward 12 years into the future, even just a glimpse of their reunion would have made it a satisfactory ending.
This is so good. At episode 17, my boy straight up says the three magic words. The script almost made me doubt my assumptions. I knew from the beginning that the ML was, to avoid spoilers, Mr. X. But when the second male lead confessed, I was like OMG, and now I know I was right.
This story is a frustrating mess characterized by a nonsensical, plotless narrative where a "smart" FL inexplicably acts dense in romance. It has a genuinely incompetent emperor and a deadbeat father who faces zero satisfying consequences or redemption, making the entire experience a waste of time.
omg you rated this 1 and Wonderland of love 10 while me gave both a 10 🤨I dont understand how that happened?…
I have a soft spot for drama's that end happily ever after. Wonderland of love was that for me. Seeing the leads with their kids especially after loosing so much was the perfect ending.
Dropped! All fluff and zero story. The excessive use of beauty filters, close-up shots, and overall color grading felt extreme. The story and pacing of conversations were slow, even at 1.5x speed. I'm not sure why this received such high ratings; it could be fans supporting the leads without regard for the story's quality. Also, most reviewers appear to be new users with little experience with Cdrama.
Please, this is my opinion, and there is no need to argue or point fingers. I said most reviewers have little experience, I peeked at 15+ profiles and they’ve barely scratched 10% of the dramas I’ve binged. Clearly, their 'good' differs from mine. Again solely my opinion no need to attack.
The first episode was bad really bad. I watched this and pushed through only because I was captivated by the story. Sadly it didn't have an ending. I read I would need to watch the anime to continue the story.

I watched 'Land of Warriors.' The actors were different and the first episode was kinda bad, but I got hooked after a few episodes because the story was really interesting.
The story, the journey of the ML, all of it was amazing, especially the acting. I only feel sad that this never got a continuation. I know there is a second season (Land of Warriors) to this, but it's different. It lacked the direction and cinematography that this had. I read a comment saying that this is an adaptation, while Land of Warriors is actually based on the anime.
Recommendations please! This was too good. a protective male lead (protects his mother), no-nonsense, elite demeanor, goal-oriented, and powerful but not boastful.
Don't be discouraged by the negative comments. I enjoyed it. It's based on the Condor trilogy novel, and the main themes are forgiveness and empathy during difficult times. While there are some wicked characters, they are ultimately forgettable. I enjoyed seeing the young character defy death and remain righteous in his heart. There were moments I felt he was stupid and an idiot for not using his abilities to eliminate the wicked people.
You can watch this without any clue of the prequels. I recommend watching the Duel on Mount Hua and the legend of the heroes - hot blooded adaptation
Duel on Mount Hua: Eastern Heretic and Western Venom Duel on Mount Hua: Southern Emperor and Northern Beggar Duel on Mount Hua: Five Great Masters Duel on Mount Hua: Nine Yin True Sutra
