Dropped. No one's willing to say it out loud, but this is so boring and has no thrill. Dojoon just keeps winning,…
I find your comment about the characters being one dimensional the most bizarre part because to me the characters are the best part of this show. LOL. Obviously we don't share the same idea of what "one dimensional" means.
I don't know why K drama bad guys have to do things the hard, convoluted way. LOL. It's so over-the-top. Just for one small lab. The mercenary could have done the whole thing himself with tear gas. I guess it's a good excuse for someone to blow stuff up and play with fire.
One of the most irritating side characters I’ve come across, Tang Hua, I wonder if doctors are as unprofessional…
I was just thinking the same thing, TBH. Of all the characters she's the one who just doesn't seem to progressing. 24 episodes later and she's still being judgemental and ill-mannered about people she barely knows. She lacks professional ethics. It was fine at the start but she's not learnt from her mistakes at all. Bai Zhu was a bit like that but he's generally getting better over a time.
Xiao Guang is so adorable. Such a talkative perceptive little kid. 8 going on 80. Nice to see that there's someone who can put Bai Zhu in his place. LOL.
Some of these dramas intentionally or unintentionally reveals the ills of society. In society where healthcare…
Universal health care or socialised health care is not free by any stretch of the imagination, generally paid for by taxpayers. :D And is very much dependant on the contribution of a large tax base. Although where I live I enjoy the benefits of basic health care up to a point I still had to pay about $550 for an MRI a few months back. It wasn't even covered by health insurance. A visit to the GP (family doctor) is generally covered but once a specialist is required, the costs start to accumulate even with subsidies. The wait on elective surgery in the public system can mean years.
I know this is going to fall on deaf ears but this was never meant to be romantic even though YM and BY had good…
I think it's fairly obvious from the start that romance here is a side dish not the main thing. It's like the K drama Hospital Playlist where the patient stories and the friendships take precedent. It's not as if anyone watches medical drama for the romance, right? :P
I think it's quite interesting the number of patients in this show that accuse the hospital of trying to rip them off. It feels like such a low trust environment. I wonder how often people do get cheated of money in that context.
I can't believe this show is so lowly rated here. As a long time fan of medical dramas, I think this is really good. I haven't cried this much in a drama for ages.
This show has one of the best set-ups for a C drama that I've ever seen. I'm already tearing up in the first episode. I'm shocked at how much I like it. I adore the elderly couple. C medical dramas just don't have a good track record but hopefully this is an exception.
Didn't think I could like this show any more than I did.
