I still think TY most definitely deserves YH. He’s a good guy who has cared and protected the spirits for a thousand year until an unhinged woman destroyed him in the worst possible way. Despite his past, he remains kind but extremely reserved. Throughout the series, you already see how he puts YH’s life above his own (I am aware he cannot die, but he is willing to endure falling into traps or taking the bait for her) long before he became aware of his own feelings for her. I do agree with the majority that he now has to work to regain her trust and love. We all know she still loves him and will always care for him, and she rightfully should put her own interest above his going forward. I hope she doesn’t make it too challenging for him as I feel he has suffered enough with his tragic past and recent loss. Also, we all know how much happiness he can bring her in his own quiet ways. He needs to grovel a bit so YH can feel appreciated and valued and also for us to continue rooting for him.

Yes, their visuals are unreal. The director chose two beautiful people who look the part. I’m not sure who I am crushing on currently, YH the character or NH the actor.😂

Also, I don’t mind the deviation from the novel, but I completely understand why the novel fans feel that way. Fortunately, I am a selectively shallow viewer. The leads are so visually pleasing with amazing chemistry in a fun and campy series (at least this was the case up to episode 14), so it’s easy for me to invest in this series. I do hope the silliness returns after this next arc to some degree while we witness the character development.

Only in BFTB, the closest YH gets to a love confession is now, “YH, Wait for me.”😂

I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation between funeral girl, BXS, and YH in episode 15.

Looking forward to the ML being honest with his feelings and making it clear to YH what she means to him. Enough with the “thank you” and “I’m sorry.” Dude needs to voice his feelings to her and truly treasure her. I’m still rooting for you TY. It’s time for you to pursue happiness after two decades of suffering.

I definitely miss the sassy gangster YH. It was fun watching her bully bullies.

She’s a great actress. Honestly, she is doing such an amazing job with this role.

I’m definitely team TY, but the most recent episode made me feel a tad bit sad for bxs. Now I need Zhou Ye to star in a period drama with Riley Wang as male lead and another one with Neo.

Poor BXS 💔 That final scene…I actually really felt sorry for him. He just needed one person to support him and be there for him to change his ways.

The main couple’s romance has been beautiful to witness so far. I love the chemistry between them and also the chemistry between the FL and SML. I just want to fast forward any misunderstanding and witness the leads romance blossom some more. Zhao Ye is looking really beautiful in the most recent episodes.
