It seems like her character in her unreleased period piece, āThe scent of timeā might be similar as well. Based on the synopsis, it sounds like it could be a rom-com period piece.
I finally caught up and finished episode 17 tonight. I get BXS. YH is the only positive light in his life, so I understand his desperation to save her life at any cost. At this point, he is in love with her and would do anything to have her stay alive. He is willing to deal with the consequences later on as they come. He did not do it to complete his mission. This was loud and clear. YH is AMAZING!!! She only had three months left to live and is aware of this. She tells BXS that she only wants to live well but doesnāt share that she can only live well for three months. However, instead of living her best life, she promises to help BXS with his mission. Honestly, she is so pure and just a loyal friend. TY needs to communicate better. I never got the sense he was severing ties with her in episode 16. He was uncertain about his own destiny especially knowing that he gave YH his own immortality in hopes that she can live well. He needed to achieve vengeance first before he allowed himself to be in any relationship. He still carried the burden of the spirits and monsters that died to save him. Once he witnessed the murder of Yun and the kidnapping of the other elves with their death threat, Like BXS, his act to stab her without saying anything was also an act of desperation. I hope YH and TY can reconcile soon. They are both such hurt puppies and need each other (well, TY needs YH more as she is the only person he trusts now). Iām really looking forward to more episodes. First third of the drama, we have the three doofuses in TY, YH, and BXS. Second third of the drama, we have the second set of doofuses in BXS, YH, and phantom/illusion girl. I love the chemistry between all the characters and the hilarious conversations. So far, what I learned is 1) āWait for meā is a love confession in this series. 2) Men in this series do stupid things when they are desperate. 3) Always break the frozen statue of the villainā¦always
may be huxin has some success, at least the reputation is high, so youku start pay some attention
They shot these pictures last year (there is an interview with HMH and YE from last year when these pictures were shot), and had just released them recently. So maybe they were expecting this series to be well received? Or maybe the cast is just that good looking and all deserved to be in the photoshoot?

People say Zhou Yeās beauty is suited for the cold female roles, but I understand why she chose to play this role. She is extremely outgoing in her interviews and loves to laugh as wellā¦similar to YH. Sheās basically playing herself here.š

I was so excited for this series when it first came out. Loved it through the first arc, especially the scene where Fuyao kicked her senior disciple brotherās butt. Loved looking at Ethan as Wuji even more. He was smoking in that role, and I thought he and Yang Mi had great chemistry too. Then things went downhill as the series dragged and turned into the Legend of Wuji and Friends. I really wanted Yang Mi to be a kickass Fuyao; rather, she was a plot device to show how awesome Wuji was (and he definitely was!). I may catch the first twenty episodes again as I enjoyed the banter between the two leads.
