I agree. I’m not a fan of this arc although I know it’s done for more angst and to show how the leads are meant to be. I am enjoying the more recent episodes again and wish that they can just continue their adventures as adults! I love watching the leads work together and seeing both power up.

This drama did not have a huge budget to work with. There was even no promo to announce the airing date ….yet we are all here enjoying the storyline, the leads chemistry (and visuals), and the fun supporting cast. This underdog of a drama is so much better than many bigger budget dramas in terms of storyline, flow, and script in my opinion . Yes, the cgi can be jarring initially but after a while, it becomes a part of this series charm. I was turned off by the first 10 minutes of episode one but had looked forward to this series when I saw the trailer and am so glad I gave it a fair chance.

I know most find BXS annoying and feel that he is only infatuated with YH and did not love her. I wish the writers didn’t go with the typical love triangle with the SML. However, ep 26 did prove that BXS truly loved YH as he gave up his freedom in exchange for YH’s freedom when he gave Fuyin the ghost eulogy.
I love that TY has no shame in skinship when it comes to YH. I am so excited for ep 27.

I love YH and Xian Ge’s friendship. It’s so rare to see this kind of friendship in Xanxia! And FSQ was jealous of the girls’ hugs whenever they see each other!😂

It was so sweet how they held hands so firmly that BXS could not break their grip from each other. Our sweet love birds were so physically affectionate before they realized their feelings.

He is similar to Suying in this sense. SY did everything she could including destroying a spirit to protect and prolong the general’s life (she gave up 90% of her power) since he is mortal. Likewise, TY is doing everything ethically reasonable to protect his favorite mortal’s life. TY can easily live another thousand year, but what use would that be if YH is not around? These Xanxia immortal characters have the same goal towards their favorite mortals….just different methods.

That’s true. But we forget that before YH fell in love with TY, she was willing to risk her life to get back his body parts. Remember when they parted in episode 10, YH thought to herself that she would help retrieve TY’s horns even if it meant she had to die. Imagine how much more she is willing to give to TY now that she loves him. I don’t want to discredit TY’s sacrifice but YH’s sacrifice as a mortal is just as grand. They are Xanxia couple goals!

He becomes much more powerful after getting the dragon heart scale in ep 16. He has not regained his full form yet as of ep 24, so we don’t know.

Yes. And even though TY knew YH still loved him, he also needed to hear her accept her feelings for him and his for her. I wished he would say just a little bit more but this interaction is in line with the introvert that he is.
