She just selfishly, greedily and wickedly, came up with the plan to seduce him into falling in love with her, deceive Tian Yao into thinking she loved him, and at their wedding, she stabbed, dismembered and sealed him away, to always be weak, and to always use him (his power). And then slaughtered most of his "clan".
SY did all this just to use his scales etc to build an armor for the guy she was infatuated with. Then she wanted his heart scale for more protection and power etc.
It was her selfishness and obsession that made MS suicidal and needing help, MUCH later on.

And to literally be dismembered and to have most of those who looked to you for protection, were Killed because of your "weakness" in being deceived, by someone you loved and wanted to spend forever with. Poor Tian Yao. His "spirit"(?) Literally was trapped inside a tree! And so much more. 🚨 You know, one of the worst things is, it caused or influenced Tian Yao to not Trust HIMSELF or to doubt his judgment of his own heart as well. That is a different trust issue too.
