Some are definitely influenced by those things, or pressured by people who have more power than they do...like the Communist government. I am not trying to insult you, but I think it is a little too idealized thinking, to not believe that it happens, and probably pretty often through out the entertainment industry.
I don't remember any "rating" in the 1st episode. What are you actually talking about? How did they rate Africa…
How the heck is that racist? Is it racist to you because the countries there have a large majority of black people?? Honestly, your perception is warped. Countries around the world, especially in parts of Africa, have real issues with not having clean drinking water. Sharing the truth of that is NOT racist. It is ridiculous how the word "racist" is used for everything and everyone (that's White, any ethnicity can be, by the way), or for anything they don't like. It is disturbing and sick, and way overused. Truth is truth, whether some people don't like it or get "offended" by it or not. Have a nice day/night.
Please get over yourselves. There is nothing really bad that happened. It is ridiculous how some of you are overreacting....Anyway, real charity is NOT bad, people! Oh well, I am going to actually pay attention to the story and plot and characters' interactions together.
Please don't respond rudely; I will block you. I don't have the patience right now to deal with snide, faul languaged, and finding reasons to play "victim" comments.
Because africa is not a country, its a whole continent. How do you sit there and write about how we shouldn't…
I did misread, because I don't like your "language ". But there really isn't much of a good reason to be so "triggered"... Are you so concerned about being over-looked, or your country not being individualized enough or being misrepresented? I understand how that can bother you. Maybe for your country or for you, clean water isn't an issue, and that's great! But in several places in Africa as a whole and other places around the world, it IS a problem.
..we don't understand as much as person belonging to that particular area can understand.they might not like it…
I agree. It seems that it has more to do with pride and possible embarrassment, if their feelings are "hurt." The problem exists, why "hide" it? I understand that they may not want to be "charity cases" but those who are ACTUALLY drinking dirty water and getting diseases from it or those that walk 5-6 hours to get clean water, probably would prefer more people realizing that it is an issue so that they may be able to help.
Are they afraid of being overlooked as individuals, or "misrepresented" ?..

And okay, I will gladly do as you request. Take care!
Thank you for actually talking about the drama, other than just whine.
