I think I was talking more about about how currently it's affecting her romantic relationship. Because it is affecting her.
Because of how her mother talks about relationships she is now so scared to be in a relationship. To the point she is denying her feelings for someone she clearly loves. And is now also breaking the heart of someone who she loves. She is basically self sabotaging herself because her mother made her believe it is safer not to fall in love.

The FL mother is so negative and has indoctrinated the FL with her toxic views of relationships.
There is actually a wide line between "You don't have to be in relationship to be happy" from "Be single, don't even try because relationships are horrible and doomed from the beginning." There is huge gap between those two thinkings.
It feels like because the mother feels lonely she almost wants to make FL alone, so she can feel better about her loneliness.
It's like saying your never going to drive a car because it might crash.
In life there are always risks of something failing but it doesn't mean you should never try.
Because just like there is chance of something failing there is also a equal strong chance of something succeeding and working out.
FL mother is a very realistic character because there is always that one relative who is always spewing negativity and dream killing and that you have actively decide not to listen to them and go for your dreams and go for what makes you happy.

Well you are at the episode just before the drama gets really, really great for the main leads. I would say episode 11 is where the main leads relationship really starts to blossom and grow.

Just curious which episode have you watched up to? I have noticed some people who have only watched a couple of episodes draw conclusions very quickly before watching further episodes where major aspects of the story is introduced, and where the main characters relationship really unfolds.

Nope it doesn't at all. They resolve issues more quickly than I have seen other dramas do.

I say be kind to yourself. We only know what we know in each stage of our lives. And what we experience in each stage of our lives helps us to grow. So I say don't regret, actually applause for yourself that you got through all the different moments of your life the best way that you could have. 🙂

I think we all need to expand our imaginations, clearly the way they have been kissing each other stuff has happened 👀. It doesn't have to be exhibit A this is when she got pregnant haha with a whole PowerPoint haha 😂

Also I have seen dramas with only one kiss, so I would say Road home is actually one of the dramas that has a lot of kisses.

That's college years when they were struggling in their relationship. Even with college years they still showed affection to each in very sweet ways.
And we have to realize the ML is a tough man. And as someone said in comment bellow he is a great example
of someone who shows love by acts of service. He also extremely affectionate person as well. Present time they also hug each other all the time. They show so much affection to each other.

She hugged him when he came back episode 17. They hug each other alot
more than other mains in other dramas actually. I can't tell if you are being sarcastic 🤣

"Barely ever kiss" did we watch the same episodes,haha. They kiss more than I have seen other main characters kiss in other dramas. So am not surprised she pregnant especially with the way they were kissing each other in the bathroom.

But I think that is very realistic that the reason for their break up is simply miscommunication. I think sometimes we have gotten used to how dramas depict break ups in this very dramatic reason, but in real life sometimes couples just lose touch with other and simply just stop speaking with each other and get tired and then break up because they are tired of the loneliness in a relationship.

I also think that the parts that they showed of LC showed his side of his struggle. Standing for ten hours because of work and still struggling to wash his clothes and charge his phone at the same time to try and talk to her. That showed that he struggled too. Also even if there was less showing of LC it really displays the lack of knowing of what he was going through as well. Because in general LC is not a communicator and they were long distance. And even now we see GX is now learning a lot about his family and work struggles and it is displayed that she feels bad that he went through all of that.

I also think that GX has also clearly shown she regrets breaking up LC With that whole scene where she says she really regrets breaking up with him.
Even episode 15 she said she was young and LC should not blame her.

So I would say they have tried to not put direct blame on him. And in present time they still talk about his struggles.

I have watched up to episode 15 and going to watch more episodes tonight and one thing I want to say is I love the main couple so much. Their chemistry is amazing.
I love the abundance of affection that is shown between the main couple. Other dramas there are usually very few moments, basically crumbs but with Road Home the main couple have gorgeous kisses and besides those gorgeous kisses it is also the little things they do towards each other.
As many have stated in the comments all the sweet things they do, the hugs, the nuzzling in each others necks and hair while they hug, the casually laying in bed together, the playing with each other hands, the hand holds while they talk. The list goes on and it's a very long list.
Simply how the their body language just strongly and cozily says they are together and love each other. Which I think some dramas fail to show coupleness in a daily way or a more natural way. Like some dramas fail to show the details of affection with couples. Some dramas just aim for one grand kiss here and there but fail to show them actively being a couple in the daily affection aspect. So I say Road home has done amazingly well with showing the amazing love and chemistry the main characters have with each other. I don't even know how to articulate how the main couple are, haha., their just so lovely. 🥰
