I just went to watch episode 0 of the variety show and I'm loving it so much! I'm cracking up bc DYX and Esther kept trying to be in character the whole time and they're both on the same wavelength-- super energetic! When DYX broke the pot and gave it to her, Esther was like "how did you know this is the most popular bag in our world?" TS cracks me up 🤣

In the travel montage when they are on their way to the capital, there's a short 1-2 sec shot of Miao Miao and Ziqu on horseback and Mu Yao and Liu Fu Yi on another horse. I'm pretty sure the whole montage was done by their doubles and not the actors themselves. But yeah!

I agree with you. I am satisfied with the ending and quite happy with it. My only wish if if we could have seen the ML and FL in the same frame!

Also, I like how everything came back full circle in a way. That pen that Miao Miao dropped...doesn't it look like the staff that Zi Qi wield? And you know how we keep seeing the lotus throughout the series? It was also on top of the pen!

Literally just finished watching the series and I LOVED it. Oh the ending was FAR from satisfying but in the context of the story, it makes total sense. I wished we could have ended the last episode with both leads in the same frame though. I also wished we could have seen My Yao and Liu Fu Yi in the modern world.

People keep complaining about the kiss, but if you stick to the end credit scene at right about 43:44, they teased a kiss but alas it was not an actual kiss!!! 😤

These past two weeks have been bliss waking up everyday to a new episode and I'm so happy to have watched this drama. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I do feel like the first and second half of the series feel like totally different plotline bc we didn't get to see much of miao miao x zi qi. But i did enjoy the theme of "only being able to love someone 100% when you love yourself." That was a wonderful message. And instead of the usual "I will sacrifice myself bc I love you" they turned it into "Let's do this together and find a happy ending together."

My only complaint was in episode 31. I just feel like so much happened and there were so many OSTs playing left and right. I was hyping myself up for a big fight but it didn't feel that overwhelming. But I did enjoy the fighthing montage inside the tower.

Now to revisit and watch the series from episode one all over again!

If you zoom into the scene where Miao Miao was in the sky (you'll know if you watch ep 24) you'll see a certain item on her chest. My theory is that what happened in the past is about to happen. Something's gonna happen to the crew and Miaox2 will be the one to face the calamity alone. That's why she has Mu Yao's family heirloom cloak, Zi Qi's weapon's. and the group badge on her. Also doesn't that headdress in that scene look like a certain someone's (Liu Fu Yi). But this is bad news bc this means something is gonna happen to the crew and I don't know if my heart can take it 😭 but that can only explain why the astronomical people thought the weapon belongs to her but turns it out it's not actually hers (which is why she can't pull it out). There's definitely some kind of time paradox at play here.

OMG I just have the greatest fan theory 😲 If you watch episode 24 you need to read this!!!

I still like it a lot. Some parts are choppy for sure but the drama is still going strong for me 😁

And what's funny is he and Zhao Luis both fell into the world inside the book but are actually from modern time! The plot are very similar.

We only have 8 episodes left and there is still so much to uncover in this drama. Hey maybe they will give us a second season. But I know that will never happen 😭

In my head canon, they went back into modern time and that's how their love story in Moonlight starts 😍

Lol I second this! If you are not seeing chemistry and you're this far long, might as well not waste your time watching.
