It came out last mid-December! Did you missed it? It's called the Strange Chronicles of Tang. 21 episodes total with each episode ~ 20 minutes long. They solve two cases in there.
I'm enjoying this cdrama so much π Zhou Yiran dubs himself, but does anyone know if Bao Shangen does her down delivery? It sounds very similar to her voice in Whispers of Fate.
Don't understand why this is rated so low? It's just as good as the preceding three seasons and, for anyone incredibly…
i like the fight scenes this season more than S3. it's not as elaborate but they're swift, efficient, and they work ;) I enjoyed this season as well. I rate it behind S3 but overall, still pretty solid.
S5 is set to start filming mid next year. I'm excited! We're probably looking at a 2027 release. I heard S5 and S6 will be filmed consecutively. Next year might be the last time everyone films together π€§
My question is, how will they fit this in with the inevitable clash between the Grand Princess and Emperor. Bc…
I hope they do bc lowkey I was starting to tire of the politics. that said, if LLF gets expelled how would that even work? he can't ever enter officialdom right? maybe it's back to being SWM's helper π
Continuation with same cast and storyline. See comments below for why it's the 4th season.
The rumor is that this company doesn't produce the 4th season of anything bc 4 is associated with bad luck. So they filmed 10 cases total for S3 and release two of those for S4. After this, they will dive right into S5 and 6.
i wonder if the next season βroad to shuβ will be based on them following leads for the crimson pact.
My question is, how will they fit this in with the inevitable clash between the Grand Princess and Emperor. Bc according to what folks have shared on MDL, the coup will happen VERY VERY soon like in a month or so.
I have a feeling this road may be the end for a lot of our favorite characters.
I'm genuinely curious why a lot of people shared this sentiment about this show π€ American shows go on for 10+ seasons and people don't bat an eye lol so it's interesting to see this perspective on here! Also, why do people feel like staying will be detrimental to the actors career rather than trust the actors to make that decision themselves cause they know would what's best for them.
For now, I plan to stick around until I either get tired of the show or the show ends π
i find the visuals and cinematography to be better in this than season 3
It's funny bc S4 is not directed by the same director as S1-2 nor S3 π I like the pacing of this season better even though I still enjoyed S3 a lot. The fight scenes and investigative analysis are good, which are some of the things I missed about S3.
It's weird bc I really liked S3 but I don't have this feeling of can't wait to find out what happens next. But I have it for this season. The case is getting more and more interesting. Plus, we get to see more of the duos: Lulu and Su Wuming, Lulu and Xijun, Su Wuming and Ying Tao, Lulu and Xue Huan, and ofc Mr. Fei with everyone.
The fight scenes are short but swift and clean, camera work is good, romance is subtle, and we have a lot more investigative work, and which I missed from S3. I enjoy seeing Lulu and Su Wuming go around investigating and piecing all the clues together.
I'm enjoying this case so much. I was never a big fan of the Su Wuming and Yingtao but they're so cute this season and I'm warming up to them. Xijun looks lovely in her new outfit and I love the small snippets between her and Lu Lingfeng. The rain dance at the end of episode 5 looked so fun! Is this how those group/community dances in China starts?! It low-key looks fun π
I'm glad to see more of Xue Huan and I'm digging the master-disciple duo! Mr. Fei let's on more than he knows.... π€
Actually I take it back: https://kisskh.at/790936-strange-chronicles-of-tangBut the MDL name is inconsistent…
And it's not linked to this drama π’ Anyways I just watched the first five episodes. I'm not a fan of them cutting up the drama into short episodes but so far I'm loving the new case π
For now, I plan to stick around until I either get tired of the show or the show ends π
