YeahI think you are really getting mixed up the character and the actor…if you have watched Allen in lots of his other dramas…besides minimal skinship..he has plenty eye contact….in fact in under power he was known as the “eye actor”…. You just don’t like his type of character in this drama…
I think it’s because people,know he doesn’t want do intimate skinship they mix up and blame him for his shy character in this drama… ….it’s a subjective accusation…

One and only he had no skinship but people didn’t complain that much….it was about their love story. Tragically…this modern drama doesn’t have the same puff as a tragedy….it’s a slow as water flow love…

Like I said in episode 14 ZSC suggested living together when he return from Germany..it’s actually she that rejected it even though she is so passionate and want him by her side…so quite frankly I think there is someth8ng wispy washy with the script..
Ever think it’s because the script is written how he is so conservative and little ski ship so that is why they selected Allen as the role? And not vice versa…
There are plenty of Romance drama with too much kissing in my opinion that it has become cheesy…
I appreciate so maybe Allen made an agreement respect with his wife that he minimize those type of scenes..people who hire him know that already…they can select another traffic actor who is willing to do intimate scenes like yang yang yet they selected aAllen for the role ….

Besides wasn’t it in episode 14 he suggested when he return from Germany that they live together same room… she is the one who almost choked and said give him a the sofa…he actually seemed disappointed…
Hence I rally don’t understand what the scruotwriter was trying to convey,..because she does want him to be with her and they were sleeping in same room in Germany so why she reject it when he brought it up? Later on he was just respecting her wishes
So again I think it’s the producer screen writer wish washy going back and forth
I think Allen is doing a great job portraying the character the screen writer asked him to portray…
Why do we always need to show passionate kissing in drama to convert love? Like delibra drama gees…all her drama too much kissing…especially in king and I…and it became cheesy…
I thought that scene where ZSC said don’t turn up heat because they will sweat already is a beautiful portrayal of romance
I was just rewatching chapter 12when they got married…. They got married 5/11… in Chinese the 5 sounds like my…. No. 11…which is symbolic to one one and only..his shi yi.
I found that so touching because he doesn’t remember the past at all yet he really wanted get married that day…he doesn’t realize it yet..
ZSC is sweet and detailed….see how he got all her beauty products for her… he got her a dress she loves for her reward ceremony and worried she didn’t like it..
she ask her if she likes some things…it’s these little details how he is sweet..
He is very careful to her needs…he just slowly develop how to handle a long term relationship…which he has of little only his grandma
The old house in the drama…where they were going get engaged in earlier chapters…gees though…doesn’t seem have much privacy anyway…the doors are all glass…..
OnO and FaE are one of the best dramas I've seen so far. I appreciate Bai Lu and Allen Ren for being professional…

I hold hands with spouse in public sometimes but not always …particular with a group of friends…try to leave intimate at home… I am okay that ZSC is shy and takes time…it’s just he is slow to learn…even after consummating their marriage he planned to sleep on couch and still seem awkward even with skinship when they are alone….I don’t understand why writer producer wrote his character as such….we already got it in the many scnes before they consummated their marriage that he was shy…. …it’s afteron where it’s weird…
But like I said I think Allen did a good job portraying it as it seem to annoy many…I think he does his character well….I didn’t read the book so did let see his aura….but to me he is a good actor…

Under power with his great acting was when people noticed him again and respected that he was married and wouldn’t let career ambitions affect his marriage…he has overall a very healthy image unlike other actors and actress with divorces multiple partners playing ..uuggh. Look at pathetic kris Wu… …anyway so directors selected him not that he took up these roles….he has a family to take care of….he isn’t in acting business to be popular only…
So I really would,blame the director and writer to make h8m so awkward Passive in this series…
And the fact that so many people complain his awkwardness…so that may prove he is actually acting right to the script….
Hmm…Allen ten has been in many dramas such as glory of tang … which he had many kiss scenes…he played recently in another modern ceo drama although not a lot intimidate scenes he was natural in his love desire for the main girl..
