what is rmb? I assume you mean continue past ...pretty much...as much as they can put in past life due to censorship...its hinted but never really stated in F&E...but many hints in modern drama....

He said that in life the hardest thing to tell someone is i his nternal thoughts and feelings....he didn't want to openly admit that he regret it to his friends or to her...

I think he does regret it....quite frankly he should have turned his oath...the evil enemies had no care about it...he was ridiculous loyal ...

But if you watch O &o first you will see some of the parallels and u understand what shiyi is talking about in f and e

You can get feel for he drama with some of the ost…..it’s a slow drama for some who don’t like melancholic drama…but I loved the acting from the leads…

The wicked empress...she is one of them....you should watch the drama and you will see

opinion....I liked both..although One and only because tragedy sticks more in the mind....

Its just throughout the 10 years from moment she became his pupil.....he would go battle and would be gone for months and close to years....waiting for him to return...

I assume its the tenth year that the rest of the story happens when the tragedy occurs...

You really need to watch to feel...kudos to Bailu (and Allen)...but Bailu really was able to portray her character so well...

I thought this drama was better than GMP...as many of the characters annoying in GMP vs many of the characters are lovable in this drama....just very tear jerking drama...you can watch F&E afterwards since its the sequel to mend your soul if you finish O&O

Also... when ZSC went to palace that last time...he told the blind guy that they won...never in his mind did he realize it was setup to capture him as he went to paalce several times to actually help Lui Zi Xing and that wicked empress....how they repaid him back!!!!! t...so sad...he didn't realize because this was Shiyi's husband also and he trusted no harm....so I hated Lui Zi Xing...already got the girl and still not enough...

I think this resulted in Shiyi being extra guilty for the cause of her Shifu's death.....let alone the sorrow of loosing the love of your life for such tortous death....when she heard her mom she repeated the boning..couldn't believe it and fainted.....I kind of wish she took that knife and stabbed Lui Zi Xing....uugghh..Lui Zi Xing to me died too easily....in his bed depressed rest of his remaining life....


In the book she asked while burning his stuff after ZSC death "Did you ever regret having me as your pupil?".....

No the three years later was when the child became king again...

So it said following year they killed jingrong..then the princess married herself south...then Lui Zi Xing died...then chaos from all the warloards around...then 3 years later the little child become king again...

Okay..if he didn't scheme and order ZSC mutiliated to death I would have felt sorry for him...he was picked to be a fake crown prince..the wicked old empress abused him...etc...he falls in love with a girl who doesn't love him..

Well he let greed and insecurity overcome him and was evil..

Shiyi agreed to marry him...if ZSC wanted to rebel he would have taken shiyi away and rebelled... yet Liu Zi Xing had the girl yet he was too insecured....it was way too evil to bone ZSC..for goodness sake..that's her beloved shifu...what did he think that she will forgive him?

Actually going back to the first little words after shiyi jumped to her death..is that the dongling emperor (which is liuzhixing) used the fact that Jinrong daughter was pregnant to bring him in and then they killed Jingrong...I would assume if they killed the father then he probably would have killed the jingrong daughter since dongling emporer was not in love with her...and probably hated her so much...she was not pregnant as when he died said he had no children

That translation isn't correct...I rewatched after JinRong died...it said deceased concobuine Shiyi was honored as empress....this is the title that the Jinrong daughter wanted -- exmpress "wonghao"...

Those parts I was confused too....so they showed the mom devastated..then the 3rd brother crying...and then ZSC student who was in wheelchair cyring...and then years later shows him in wheelchair visitng what-- the temple Shiyi named? And the general pushing him said all the generals are gone -- dead from old age etc? I think they could have done a better job to translink both dramas...and use the ending in O&O for such..

In f&E...I couldn't figure out who was the family lineage for modern day ZSC as he was in the generation books...and he supposedly took his name from ancient ZSC guy who was still known as traitor?...F&E was too confusing...

O&O was clearer in plot...expect the push for death...

Haha...you guys are one of the few that said record breaking pace..most people feel its such a "slow drama"....but it was quick for them to marry...

well not quick for Shiyi...waited a thousand years right? her last words was "switch to to marry me first" .. well thats what he did in modern life...quick to the point...although it wasn't full love but more attraction then for him...

I just didn't like in O&O how they justified ZSC death..he could have left with the young child king or fight battle till death...why surrendar and be tortured? That's what I didn't like and drove me nuts...the mutilation...

I was fine with her jump...both of them able to be "together" that way...even without a sequel...

It was the boning...gave me goosebumps and traumatized me....even though they didn't show...I could imagine that pain and it showed in Shiyi's sleep and when the monk saw the body....

so to me they didnt l link both drams as well as they could because at the end when she woke up coma..said she dreamed it....and she was a voice actress for the drama...that really took away the link -- because it seemed she was too invested in the drama when she was voicing but the throughout the story bits and pieces about past life. "how she said many people owed ZSC -- how she know if it wasn't his past life? ..sigh..the censorhip of reincarnation not allowed...to me put a damper on the linkage of both drama and made it confusing...


espaically since they didn't put the most imporant verse of the story "I exchanged my bones for you to be beautiful to be able to cxall me....that was the point of the boning o the way he died....besides the jealousy of his beautiful bones by the king
