The scene was well done where Jinqi's mother looked around everyone panicking and when she saw Lanxiang, she felt a little relief.
It's good that they didn't let go of Du sister's suspicion. I love how Lanxiang subtly gives hints to people.
All these small details are what making me like the drama. Even the small interactions between leads and his little changes in actions towards her are endearing.

I thought after the tragedy of the first episode, I will stop feeling for the women of that time. But cruelty these people face just because of their birth, gender, ancestors iss really sad. No matter how the world is right now, atleast humans are thought to be equal. Also, the drama has best gender swap makeup I have seen in historical dramas. I'm loving the FL , she doesn't unnecessarily meddle in other people's business and her desire for survival is so genuine that I only care about her rn, not even romance is needed for me.

Many plotlines were just introduced just be a convenience for the FL.
All characters had personalities except for her. It was Entertaining but not that interesting.

I have so many thoughts here. I somewhat understand FL. Sometimes when you are struggling you want to struggle alone. But I wished them to be equally flawed. FL can't really expect to feel butterflies after 10 years of relationship. I'm sure in next 13 episodes there will be more background stories. But frankly I don't think you have to get involved with third person romantically to understand the importance of your ex. they could have showed them working on themselves while being single and then deciding to get back together or not.
