I promise you, if Joe dies and Ming ends up either committing suicide, falling into depression, or being hospitalized…
There's no way I'll agree with Tong's happy ending, but I'll accept it if everything ends well between Ming and Joe, and that's the only condition. Even then, I'll still say Tong's redemption arc is ridiculous.
I promise you, if Joe dies and Ming ends up either committing suicide, falling into depression, or being hospitalized in a psychiatric ward, while that bastard Tong ends up with a happy ending and a child, I will really struggle to cope with it.
I can understand Joe stepping in front of the bullet for Ming. They're in love, and Ming would probably do the same if the roles were reversed. But... Tong. Can someone explain this to me? Joe. Joe. Are you an idiot? Let him deal with it or call the cops, but don’t take his place. How are you going to handle it? You barely know how to fight...
Ming’s father is the typical father in this kind of situation. The mother seems to have multiple personality disorder. Joe’s mother annoyed me; she didn’t try to understand or discuss anything. Fine, go do your treatment alone. Don’t bother us.
May has no personality. She’s bland.
And Ming, well, he’s been great since episode 10, so I have nothing to say. I even found myself gently scolding him when he was being picky about the hospital food 😂.
I hope Ming and Joe get a happy ending; they deserve a beautiful relationship.
Oh, by the way! I noticed no one mentions when Joe says, "I promise you, I will never forgive him!" Wut has a smirk that seems to say, "No one believes you, Joe."
Why are people getting mad at Sol?! In his eyes (and mine), Ming still IS an assh0le and we all know he did a…
I think it’s the very manipulative side of Sol. Not the obvious kind of manipulation, but the hidden one. - He stopped Wut from telling Joe the truth. - He called Joe his boyfriend without permission. - He flirts with Joe throughout the episode, knowing that Joe is heartbroken and in love with Ming. - He forces Joe to promise things. - He makes Joe believe that Ming doesn’t love him.
We wouldn’t really call that a friend but an opportunist, in my opinion.
In Episode 10, based on the preview, Ming seems to be changing his approach with Joe, and Joe appears to be okay with it. Ming looks softer, more romantic. However, he's definitely going to destroy Tong—if looks could kill, Tong would be dead.
Then, if I understood correctly, we’re heading into the family arc. Ming is even going to alienate part of his family for Joe! And Joe will support him and stand by him!
In short: they will face the future together, which is what we expect from a couple!
On the other hand, it’s a good thing Ming doesn't have a gentle personality with everyone; otherwise, who would deal with Tong?
If he actually tries correcting his mistakes and deals with tong then my stance towards him might change, although…
Ming fell in love with Tong when he was very young, just an adolescent, and Tong took advantage of him. Unfortunately, Ming's environment didn’t help—a homophobic family and an upbringing that taught him money is everything. But yes, if Ming deals with Tong, that would be fantastic. Tong is just a bad person who hates Joe because he took away his toy.
Oh god, I'm having issue here... I kind of liked Ming in this episode. He is still too much, overbearing, narcissistic…
Ming isn’t going to change his personality. He’s just going to become more tender and gentle with Joe, and only with Joe. That’s his character, and Joe loves him for it.
He took Tong's place alone. Nobody asked him to.

I wonder what others think about this.

Ming has the power, the money, and honestly, the mindset to get it done. Tong, Ming warned you! You don’t talk to or touch Joe.
I suggest we grab some popcorn for this part of the episode.
Prove to Joe that Tong is nothing.
