Title My Stand-In
I can read in the comments that everyone has high expectations for Ming. He is the most psychologically interesting character. He is very interesting to study. Ming really has "the power" in his hands. He has the power to win Joe back by behaving well. He has the power to destroy Tong... the power to save Joe's "mother."

No one would want to get on the bad side of someone so powerful.

Joe...honey...I'm gonna hold your hands when I say....this is not the way to do it, leave.that.man. That man basically…
Joe doesn't just want other people's help... he wants Ming.

The answer is so simple: He is in love with Ming.
Once again, you have a very insightful analysis.

The reality: Joe loves Ming. Joe prefers to be with Ming. Actually, Joe... should seek counseling. In fact, he…
I hope so too. It would be interesting to learn more about Ming's family.

Did you see Joe's reactions? He was devastated that Ming wanted to make him Tong's replacement again. It's surprising…
That's exactly it! The only reason Joe isn't with Ming yet is because he's afraid of getting hurt! He knows that if Ming finds out, he'll try to get him back, and he knows he won't be able to resist for very long.

I always wonder if May hadn't wanted Tong, would he have gone as far as selling his body to Ming for money?
I'm almost certain that he would.

Wow, I think you are one of the few people who truly understand the drama and the characters. I don't even understand…
It will be sad to see people getting angry at Ming for every action they don't consider good enough. But Ming thinks Joe is alive, Ming kept and repaired the cups, Ming kept the house, and Ming entered the world of modeling and acting just to find Joe...

People could at least make an effort to analyze his character as you said. He is not perfect, but he is young and he is improving. The only real negative point is the hit he gave to Joe.

Title My Stand-In
I watched the first five episodes of the series. I haven't read the books, and I don't feel like it considering…
Wow, I think you are one of the few people who truly understand the drama and the characters. I don't even understand how anyone can hold Ming responsible for something he didn't do just because the audience prefers Joe. Saying that Ming assaulted Joe is one thing, that's true, but he never killed him. People are so angry that they are making up details.

And I also think that Ming will silence Tong! I believe he will defend Joe as he should have from the beginning!

As you said, we just have to wait for Ming to discover the truth!

I think we are going to be surprised by Ming.
