Female leads are wronged and killed but return to the past and then take revenge. Both short dramas.

Her Trajecting is the Chinese version of Marry My Husband and set in modern times. She is killed by her husband and best friend and upon her return to the past she determines to change her fate and make her traitorous best friend marry the husband that killed her.

Her Feast has a female lead that was tortured and upon returning does everything to take down the mafia like powers that harmed her.

Both female lead time travel to the past after having been wronged and killed. They then use their memories to get revenge.

Blossom is full length drama versus Her Feast being short drama. They are set in completely different time frames as well but the strong, defiant, and independent female leads are similar.

Both female leads are raised to be boys in their family and make a name for themselves just to have the merits and honors they earned to be taken by a male family member. They both seek to regain what is theirs and along the way are supported by strong, cold faced male leads.

Very similar mystery vibes. Both have a time travel aspect, both have one character who is dead in the future, both are set in high school.

Both dramas lean more into the comedic side of romance. Both involve one female lead and two suitors. Both have wild and quirky female lead.

How have these two not been recommended together yet?! Especially after completing them both in tears.

Same sort of set up. Female assassin and male general become reluctant allies in the very beginning out of need. Female is on a path for revenge. Both dramas have the two leads from neighboring/warring countries, power struggles in both, and great chemistry from the main pair. Slow burn romance both ending in tragedy.

There are differences in the execution and I definitely have a favorite between the two dramas but both are watchable and evoke emotion. Kill Me Love Me is more romance first and revenge story second with an added second male lead (that if I am honest I would have been fine with had she ended up with him instead). Journey to Love is more mission/revenge driven above romance with a better written/ executed plot.

But even with the difference I think the two are comparable and if you watched one then watch the other.

Both dramas are comedies that explore the topic of outward beauty versus inner beauty.

Filter allows the female lead to change her appearance and the male lead ends up falling for her in different forms before realizing they are all her while Queen Lau shows the female lead earning his love through her kindness and actions through a forced proximity/marriage kind of situation.

Both are funny and show how being yourself will land you the kind of love you deserve.

Strong female friendships, Prince and palace politics, dislike turns into love, beautiful costuming and makeup, added comedic elements to keep story fun. Both follow mostly the women's perspectives and their stories.

Royal Rumours has a stronger female lead that is cunning and well trained and is able to navigate the political circles and danger. New Life Begins has a quirky but likeable female lead that is married into the palace and she learns to adapt and find herself through love and friendship.

Both are costume dramas about female led revenge. Intricate plots, cunning women, elusive and cold but supportive male leads, and both plots have involvement from royalty to some degree.

Neither drama focuses on romance and instead is excellent at weaving the story through each plot.

While Si Jin has the element of redoing the past and a higher status/ wealthier family both dramas primarily highlight women's conflicts and struggles within the family. Elder women in both dramas are scheming and continuously hold down the female lead. Much more focus is on her story with the male lead being present but the narrative being told in her point of view most of the time.

Both dramas contain strong, intelligent women that are also very kind and giving. Each also have intelligent, well off men that are cold and aloof but become tamed and soft after falling in love. Both are slice of life that depict jealous and malicious in laws, family dynamics, and societal pressure on reputation.

Perfect match follows a mother as she marries off her 5 daughters and each of their struggles in newlywed life. Sword and Brocade follows only one main female lead and her new life as the new legal wife in an affluent family as she navigates through constant female manipulation around her.
