She has passed the morally ambiguous character stage. You should go back in listen to what she was thinking right before she stabbed. What she did was wrong and her motivations were purely selfish. She was thinking to have him whether he wants to or not. That is bad, nothing morally ambiguous about that..
Ep31. It seems TLC goal for reviving FZ is much deeper, than having FZ alive, it seems to be tied into into his own insecurities or something. When he says " Didn't you say, no one is born to be a disaster, people can change their own destiny." Not reviving FZ would be maybe an indication that he can't change what he was created to do??

That’s not a good character trait if you have to cheat your way to the top. It’s not real, it’s not authentic, it’s just a lie. Lie that will hurt a lot of people involved. She is not even at the same level as TLC right now.

I don’t know if you watched Love in the clouds? The SML was similar to her a lot of humiliation, all the things and wanting to rise. But adding love into the mix made him go the extra mile he wouldn’t have gone. ZCJ is the same she could have overcome some of these things with her supportive shifu and friends, but with TLC added in she wanted to be at the same level as him. She only confessed when she was princess. He rejected her she still will go the extra mile of having him without consent.

Just to add those SML’s also have a sad background story and at some point the FL would have innocently helped them, the kindness they receive turns into a delusional unrequited love obsession.
