Wish they had changed that for on screen, since it sounds like from the novel reader comments, they were able to completely change YWY character from the novel. It would be such a minor change to show better reactions.

Same just did a catch up from ep27 to 36, I was disappointed that we didn't see more of a response from ML, especially since he once thought she was jealous of "herself". Wished we had spent more time knowing about FL's history now we only on her side for war, we spent so much in court.

Oh goodness me, hope it does magically air this month.

All this waiting might lead to the drama not living up to expectation, not because the drama is not good just the waiting adds an added something.

I agree with this, defo best she explained since she was reassuring him about a peace deal to trust the prince since everyone knows HFX is good and also we know her relationship with ML is more than just friends, best to tell you brother and get some sort of approval for the love interest. Her brother and father have managed to keep her secret and always allowed her to be who she is and her being honest with the brother helps them be confident she is ok outside the palace.

Looks like their good relationship is not going to last. What a shame.

Hmm that is so true never thought of those points. I was reminded of Legend of Fu Yao when they were mastering that new martial arts skill with the water bodies moving part.

I am also generally reminded of Yang Mi with some of FL's mannerism in this, how she drinks and sometimes stands. Loving this role for Zhao Lu Si.

The offense is because of the stereotype this drama creates and re-enforces through it’s fiction that’s what people will associate people Africans with. No idea if you have left Nairobi and studied and worked in the US or somewhere in Europe? You may meet people who think all of the African continent is a jungle or all black people from the continent are poor and they ask you stupid questions which turn into micro aggressions. And also turns into racism. This mindset is created by dramas like this. Not everyone thinks beyond the drama about a certain place they haven’t been or study. You will also find a lot of people raising this issue here are also Africans and even though you r fine with it you can not speak for all. People are different that’s why they shouldn’t just say Africa. It’s a huge continent with different countries, cultures, languages and beliefs.

It reminded me of Legend of Fuyao, she also learnt the moves in a similar way.
