He was so abusive, I am sorry in a normal world that is just not on, he even raped her at one point. No way is the way the emperor acted in those day similar to Jianming. Rape is a major no no.
Is emperor and shifu connected? Like do they have some kind of bond?
Yes they have a baixi bonding, so if the emperor gets attacked or poisoned, shifu is the one that actually gets hurt or poisoned he takes all the pain and everything.
Rumor is Tilan dies giving birth to a still born baby
Either that or its Tilan's kid Hai Shi ends up raising. I just don't want emperor to have that kind of intimacy with Haishi. I am sure in history there have actually have been emperors who didn't have "royal blood" that have ascended to the throne. Imagine all these women who might have lied to have an heir and cheated to get one and baby dying through child birth and swapped. Obviously it's all kept hush hush. That's a whole other big conversation.
Just comparing comments Eternal Love with 50B views has only 3700 comments whereas this drama with almost 6700…
I think COVID has changed the way people interact with this platform. Eternal Love for me is better than this better than most historical dramas in my opinion , but I never used to comment before COVID. So didn't comment while I was watching it. So I wouldn't use the comments section as a comparison for any dramas before COVID to those during COVID.

I will even settle for a kiss, that's not in a dream, not her about to die, not medicine kiss, not forehead while sleeping. At least that please lord of dramaland lol.....
I still remember the action scenes from Legend of Fu Yao - in particular the scenes when Yang Mi and Ethan Juan…
That pool scene they did always makes me laugh. At one point they are standing in it and the next its like they are in an ocean (c-drama land :-)) I do love the choreography in Legend of Fu Yao too.
Tilan set out deliberately to provoke and seduce the emperor. She is clearly doing it bc she is following instructions.…
That's an interesting take, she is pretty strategic. Like getting herself sent to the south palace, getting herself sick not to see the general off, refusing too see HaiShi and a lot more. So she usually knows what the outcome is. I hadn't thought of it that way hmmm.
Are they technically still married?
